This place is phenomenal. We brought our puppy there & she can't wait to get inside every time…read moresince. The staff is super friendly and responsive - you can also tell they truly care about the dogs. We've only boarded there once, but so far so good! You can drop your dog off in the am and pick them up the next day in the pm for no additional day care charge like other places - they do this because there are shortened play hours on the weekend - but it's still better than my pup sitting home alone when I can't be there! They always remember us & our dogs name & always double check on feeding schedule & amounts which I appreciate. We had a couple of bad experiences at other larger daycare places around & this place immediately had our trust. Many other places are just shuffling large amount of dogs in & you worry yours could get missed (or even hurt because of the dog to person ratio) - I don't get that feel here either! They also put our dog (25lbs when she started) in with the big dogs because of her big personality - they seemed really in tune with the dogs - other daycares placed dogs solely on size - which isn't always appropriate!! All and all - were very happy to have found a place we can trust!

I love dogs, but Planet Bark is truly run by "dog people" who take it to the next level. They really have gotten to know my dog "as a person" and give him tons of personalized attention, starting with greeting him warmly when he hits the door. When we have a boarding visit they take the time to ask about his routine and do extra things to cheer him up like adding cheese or other treats to his food to make sure he eats when we're away. They've been instrumental in helping to socialize my dog and make him comfortable around other dogs. I can't imagine bringing my dogs anywhere else for daycare or boarding.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience in using Emily and Archie as my dog…read morewalker/sitter. She is professional, dependable and always gets to my dog in the time frame she gives. I've never had an issue. I can be a tad neurotic when it comes to the care of my dog...ok...extremely bonkers...but Emily puts my mind at ease. Her love of all dog's is undeniable, and she treats my Brewster as well as I do. Can't really ask for more than that.

She has picked up our dog, Rey, from Planet Bark, in the evening and dropped off at our home. She is just such a calming presence and my dogs just love her! For holidays, we have come home to find an adorable "themed" kerchief on them, which just brightens our day. She even left a bag of treats for Jake, recently, as he just turned 12. Emily also watched Jake when we went on a cruise, and he did not come home stressed or ill, like if he stays in a kennel. She sent daily videos and/or pictures of him and we felt so comfortable leaving our little man. I am that nervous dog Mom but Emily always makes me feel so much peace of mind. Most importantly, she is dependable, on time, and will always give us a heads up if she has something coming up, so that we can be prepared ahead of time. I can't say enough!!!

First time dog mom, energetic herding puppy, mid pandemic, limited staff that was poorly trained, etc. I almost pulled my dog from their program a few different times over the first few months. I felt that the young staff was not fit to be with my dog and what seemed like no "adult" supervision and they made comments about my dog not listening to them after one day of being there (obviously he wasn't going to listen well to someone he just met). I took him there for boarding one weekend and when I picked him up found that the staff had neglected to feed him lunch one of the days he was there. I also have a bad taste in my mouth from some of the interactions I've had with one of the managers there. HOWEVER, with all of that said, we continued to go and things have gotten much better. I continued to stick it out despite my hesitation because my dog loves going there. The facility is one of the best I've seen. It's very large with many different play areas for the dogs. They also have pools for the dogs and my pup loves water. My dog was also struggling with a few behavioral issues and we've been working with trainer TeeKay and seen huge improvements! There are always new events for the holidays and different parties going on which are fun for both dogs and parents. It's pretty pricy and I feel like they use any opportunity to charge you extra for things, but everything additional is optional. I do also love the staff during the week. The girl at the front desk is so sweet and the staff really seems to care for the dogs. From time to time we still have issues, like being charged for a full day of daycare when we were there for half, or recently the weekend staff removed my dogs collar and then lost it. But all in all I'm very happy that we have continued to go. Unfortunately I see a lot of negative reviews for the grooming but we can only speak (mostly) positively about the experience we've had at the daycare.
