Located off Rosemead Blvd in Temple City. The square has a lot of eating places such as Meet Fresh, Tea Station, Cauldron Ice Cream and others. Also the home is the Soaring Teapot on the corner of Rosemead and Las Tunas. Parking is tight and fills up fast when all the businesses are opened. There is also an additional underground parking if the main level is full. Overall a good amount of choices for dessert or snack.

Camellia square is a new plaza in Temple City (been open for about 8 months now), that took over the old Edwards Theater lot. From Las Tunas Drive, you will most likely spot the large teapot pouring water into a large tea cup. Inside is where you find a handful of new restaurants that recently opened up, that includes Kang Hodong Baekjeong, Summer Rolls, Miss Tea, Sunmerry Bakery, Tea Station Express and Pokelicious. There are also a few small shops here (but primarily this plaza has restaurants). I really like that a few of the restaurants/ eateries have outdoor seating because I am one of those people who like to take their dog with them everywhere. There is also a few outdoor couches and tables around if you want to order your food items to go and sit here if those places do not have outdoor seating. Parking itself has not been a problem for me the few times that I have been to this plaza, but I can see how it can be a challenge during peak times. But there is an underground parking structure. I really like that Temple City is getting new business in this tiny city and can't wait to see what other restaurants pop up in this new plaza.

Home of the Soaring Teapot! Check out this amazing fountain landmark! The Camellia flower is the National Flower of Southern China and the State Flower of Alabama. It's leaves can be used to make tea and is sometimes used to treat asthma. Camellia Square is an outdoor mall on the corner of Rosemead Boulevard and Las Tunas Drive in Temple City. It has free parking (there's more under ground - enter on Elm Street); was renamed; looks clean and new; and has great dining options! We tried to have dinner at the Korean BBQ place that just opened (Kang Hodong Baekjeong), but the wait was an hour and a half! Another new business is Tea Station...right now, they have a buy one, get one half off special. I want to go back and get something at Pokelicious and Meet Fresh (a dessert place). Snazzy Chic Boutique seems like an interesting shop... Let's go!

This plaza has a lot of potential. There's a Meet Fresh (Taiwanese dessert FYI), poke place, and boba :). Super Asian feel and lots of parking. This seems like a nice place to beat the usual afternoon rosemead Blvd traffic.

This up and coming plaza has a lot of potential in a sleepy town. The Camellia Square structure is super nice and mordern. Got a giant tea pot water fountain and EXTRA PARKING DOWN STAIRS. Obviously it has some great restaurants and different diversity of foods like Kang Ho Dong (Beak Jeong) (kbbq), Summer Rolls (viet) that has a chic patio area, tea station to cleanse after eating kbbq, poke, and meet fresh (Taiwanese).

Check out this new shopping center in SGV! I went there for #baekjeong, one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants!

Tons of parking available. They have some fun shops and great eateries such as Trader Joe's, Kohl's, Panera Bread, Ike's (by the way, they just opened 3 months ago), Chase Bank, and so much more. From the main street of Huntington Drive, it doesn't seem that huge... maybe it's because the shops are deep in and not closer to the street... who knows. Now that Ike's is here, I'll be visiting it more often when I'm in the Arcadia area. This shopping center is actually located in the city of Monrovia (neighbor of Arcadia) which I don't visit frequently except for driving through it as I'm leaving Arcadia on surface street. Huntington Drive is a long stretch through several cities and it just has so many plazas and shopping centers on its course. I actually enjoy my drive through LOL. Thank you! Anyway, drop on by here and enjoy an afternoon of fun shopping and good eats.

My Dad is no longer with us... he's been gone for almost 5 years now... miss you dearly and love you always Dad! Now I have taken over my Dad's place. I bring my Mom here all the time usually on Saturdays unless we have a prior arrangement with my brothers to eat elsewhere in the San Gabriel Valley (SGV) food galore hub LOL. Hey, my parents used to bring my 3 younger brothers and I out to SGV every weekend since the early 1980's until I started high school and that's when I went out with my parents less and less. We would ride in the back of my Dad's delivery truck (he had a furniture business)... man, those were the good fun old days! Now it's just my Mom and I in a Toyota Prius in the 21st century LOL! At the food court, there's actually a great variety of different ethnic foods. Here are my favorites... 1. For Vietnamese foods, Nuoc Mia Vien Dong is a wonderful choice... they offer 1 or 2 or 3 items plates for very reasonable prices and portions are huge! 2. For Chinese foods, Golden Bull Noodle is my go-to. They have the best and I mean BEST Hainan Chicken Rice... freshest and moistest chicken you'll ever eat! My Mom and I can eat this every weekend and not get bored of it... and we have done so on many occasions LOL. Black Pepper Beef or Chicken stir fry with thick egg noodles is excellent, too. 3. For Hong Kong Style Chinese foods, Harlem's Kitchen is your spot! Delicious wonton or dumpling egg noodle soup, beef chow fun, soy sauce chow mein, thousand egg pork/seafood congee, etc... you name it! They are always busy... that's a very good sign! 4. For Thai foods, your only choice is New Thai Star and that's all you need... just one good one! Pad See Ew Fried Tofu or Shrimp, Pad Woon Sen Seafood, Pad Thai Chicken, and Green Papaya Salad are my go-to dishes. Just great tasting foods all around. They have a very good Spicy Beef Bowl, but I don't eat beef anymore, but maybe I can ask them to replace it with seafood next time... we'll see. 5. For Vietnamese desserts and drinks, Hien Khanh is your gal! Their egg flan is the best of the best egg flan I have ever eaten in my life... so smooth and just perfect in texture & taste. Che Ba Mau has the freshest coconut milk plus your choice of up to 5 toppings. No one beats them in this category of desserts and drinks in SGV! They take home the trophy every time! Actually, you can't go wrong with any of the food vendors at this food court. I've tried them all... there are a few I prefer (above) over others (not mentioned above). Nevertheless, they are all good. It all boils down to what you want to eat at that moment... you have choices! Be grateful that you do. Happy Choosing! Besides the food court, I have shopped at the GW Supermarket for selective items. It's not my go-to supermarket at SGV, but it comes in handy whenever I need something quick and don't want to drive to San Gabriel Superstore. They also have shops inside and outside. I haven't checked out all their shops. Overall, it's a great shopping center. Parking can be a challenge though. They are always busy. Just be patient. We'll see you here next weekend LOL. Happy Shopping and Eating!

I remember first coming here in 2003. They felt like true outlet stores, with heavily discounted merchandise. Today, it feels like a regular-priced mall. And many items are not cheap. For example, I was interested in a pair of jeans, but checked online, and Macy's was cheaper with their current sale! Several places had buy one, get one 50% off, so 25% off total, which you can find at a regular mall. There also used to be a larger variety of stores, especially in housewares. I would say 80% of the stores are now clothing or shoes. There is a Disney Outlet for toys, Samsonite for luggage, and Vitamin World. There are, of course, sunglasses. The food court is OK, but it gets very busy on the weekends. The only real sit-down restaurant is Ruby's. One thing to know: the cell phone reception is REALLY bad! Several locations have free wi-fi for customers, but I found a few required a password. Another not-so-smart thing is that the bathrooms near the food court have only 3 single-use bathrooms! There are larger ones towards the middle of the mall. But near a food court? Come on guys.
