There were also smash and grab years ago at some shops. (It was on the news) Most of the shops here are average At best even the department stores. Tons of Asian based toy stores. A 99 ranch super market. Some Asian based J and K beauty shops. A couple nice restaurants (but not high end). A big but always crowded Japanese book store (even more so crowded than the one in dtla). Typical clothing franchises. And a pretty regular food court. I never really thought this was a nice mall but now it feels like this place is giving more a ghetto vibe. I personally wouldn't come here often to celebrate /or host important events, unless necessary. I would avoid this place on the weekdays or holidays if you don't like crowds. Really, just a sub-standard mall But I think people just need a place to hang. Each to their own I suppose. Good luck people : )

Well, I've only shopped at Target and Dollar Tree from here, but it has so much more to offer. Here's to name a few... The Boiling Crab, TGI Fridays, IHOP, Habit Burger & Grill, California Fish Grill, Red Wing, Panda Express, Ross, Petsmart, UPS Store, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Crumbl, Gotcha Teahouse, Cold Stone Creamery, Jersey Mike's Subs, Dave's Hot Chicken, LA Fitness, Rolling Rice, Ono Hawaiian, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and many more. Free parking is available. It gets really packed on the weekends so come here during early hours of restaurant and/or store opening or late afternoon. I haven't entertained any eateries from here. I'll have to spend a whole day just to get immersed in all the good eats offered at this shopping center. Watch out, I'm coming LOL.

I ended up walking in where the food court was. Just from the looks of it, your basic mall food vendors. Don't know if that's the only section that offer food or if they have more at another location in the mall. Walking through when they just opened, it's your basic mall. I didn't really check out the whole place as I just needed to pick something up. They did have a lot of stores which I have never heard of. Honestly don't even know what department stores were on the property. Just from this visit, it was decent.

Third building is one floor. It does have a great selection of businesses. I've only been here a few times for Meet Fresh, Summer Rolls, and Shibulaya. I have yet to check out some of the other biz. I would love to return to dine at all the restaurants that start with letter B, Sunmerry Bakery, and all that starts with letter T. It is anchored by McDonald's, Sam Woo Restaurant, and Lucky Market. There are also some small boutique shops and other services for nails, spa, mail, lending, etc. Most recently added biz are R&B Teahouse and a massage place. I have two gripes about this plaza. One is the limited parking. For the number of businesses, I feel there should be more parking. The last time I was here, I had to drive out of the plaza, make a detour, and drive back in. Another is that it's located on a corner of two main streets, Valley Blvd and Walnut Grove. It's best to exit on the Walnut Grove side. You may be waiting for a very long time if you try to exit on Valley Blvd. Good luck! Other than my two gripes, it's still a great plaza for dine-in at the restaurants and drink shops.

Today my Mom and I were at the food court located at The Square shopping center. There is The…read moreSquare Plus retail store that is also within the food court area... the name is so fitting as the shopping center is called The Square LOL. Anyway, we looked over and saw dustpans. I've been wanting to buy a new dustpan because the old one was damaged when I had to use it to shovel snow a few weeks back when the high desert had a snowstorm. Yes, you read right... I used a dustpan to shovel snow (1st time shoveling snow + using a dustpan to do it) LOL... it wasn't too bad actually. One gray dustpan was $4.49 + tax... not too shabby and it's the sturdy type, too. I didn't check out any other items in the shop, but from what I can tell, they do have some nifty knick knacks, small appliances, general household stuff, etc. It doesn't have a lot of space for customers to walk around though... there are only 2 aisles really... the one closest to the entrance and the one on the other side of the wall LOL. I grabbed one dustpan, waited in line (wait wasn't too bad), and paid cash for it. The lady at the cashier was pleasant. She may have been the owner... not 100% sure though. If you happen to be hanging out at the food court, swing on by and see what fun stuff you can pick up from here. Happy Shopping!

Pretty cool retail shop…read more Located within the food court, this shop is packed filled with asian appliances like rice cookers, steamers, and water boilers. Great for getting specific asian appliances that are difficult to find on Amazon or other big-chain appliance stores like Best Buy etc. They also sell a lot of little tiny tools, such as cookware etc. Feels kind of like Daiso. Overall, a pretty neat place to visit and check things out!
