I got a blank, silent stare. The words, "You do sell wine here, don't you?" literally came out of my mouth during this interaction, because I was starting to question where I was. And I guess The Cellar Wine Bistro does sell wine, because I was wordlessly handed a menu, and I saw wine on the menu. Great! I wanted a glass of wine, so I was in the right place. I ended up getting a wine flight, which came with three small glasses of wine. I had to ask questions and initiate the entire transaction, because the person behind the counter did not seem interested in providing any additional details beyond what was on the menu. Eventually, I ordered and paid, and went to sit at one of the bar stools facing a window that overlooked the street. It was a nice little spot to people-watch. After several minutes, my wine flight was wordlessly set in front of me, and that completed my interaction with the people who work at The Cellar Wine Bistro. I sipped my wines, which were dry reds, and I looked out the window, and wondered if there was a different wine bar I could visit the next time I was in the area.
