He was really great & friendly. He also was very knowledgeable about Paso Robles and answered every question that we had. There were 10 of us and we can be a little too much, but Chris was super patient with us. He went out of his way to go back to the last winery when one of the girls left her phone at there. Really appreciate him going the extra mile. The bride to be was also very happy with how everything turned out! For anyone looking to do a wine tour in Paso Robles, we highly recommend this place. If you could, also recommend Chris! He was amazing & more! Chris - thank you so much for putting up with us! We really appreciate your service today!

He worked with all my questions and gave a ton of recommendations based off what I was looking for. He gave great options for food and made all the reservations needed for the day. We were lucky enough to have Jed as our guide for the day. Pick up was on time and we went rolling on. He got us checked into the wineries and made sure we were settled and checked back to make sure we were on schedule. He was easy going even when we decided to cut the tour one winery short and grab coffee instead. He even called to cancel the reservation- super planned and thoughtful Would definitely book with Jed again if in the area.

It's a beautiful hotel, clean with a very warm, homey feel. It's been upgraded through the 30 plus years I've known it and such a great transformation. Check in was easy as well as check out. EXTREMELY helpful, friendly staff. Now about the room itself. The beds, super comfy. Rooms are super clean. If you can, get the room with a patio and ocean view, even partial. Great way to sit n have a morning coffee. The views, the Inn, the area....exquisite. if you ever need a place to go to unplug, unwind and just breathe and be in the moment of the beauty around you...come to Cambria and stay at Fireside Inn. I already booked my return in a few weeks for my 51st bday lol it's that great.

(2) A little less than half a mile from what seems to be the one and only restaurant along the beach. (3) most delicious quick breads as part of the free continental breakfast. (4) spotless "tiled" floors, it's some sort of fake wood, not sure, but in any case, it's not dirty disgusting carpet (5) cute fireplace--and for that reason it seems like a great place to stay during the winter FYI: refrigerator is hidden in cabinet below the TV! Things I wish I'd known before I booked: (1) no air conditioner, (2) $15/day extra if you want Wifi fast enough to stream video or work on laptop with MS Office; (3) no full length mirror, (5) no true protein macro at "complimentary continental breakfast". Cambria in general is a small, quiet town with beautiful boardwalk along the beach. Cambria doesn't seem to have a great food scene. Nor does it have a legit grocery store. But perhaps I didn't search hard enough ... WiFi connection was an issue for me.

This State Park has a day-use area and two campgrounds: Washburn Day Use Area, San Simeon Creek Campground and the more primitive Washburn Campground. San Simeon Creek Campground is closer to the ocean; Washburn Campground is about a mile or two inland, overlooking the Santa Lucia mountains. The day-use area is open from 8AM to sunset, and is easily accessed from Highway 1, has picnic sites, parking, restrooms, water faucets, barbecue grills, and easy beach access (unless you are a dog...) One star down from an excellent rating for two reasons: The beach, sadly, is NDA (no dogs allowed), and the day use picnic tables are located next to the highway.

I booked a 7 hour wine tour plus 1 brewery, which they recommended the extra hour since we're visiting 4 spots. The booking process was easy, I requested a quote and got a fast response. Dereck responded and answered all my questions. They did reservations and itinerary for me, meeting our needs and what I had requested. I didn't receive the itinerary til the actual day of and I had to ask for it. Pick up was scheduled for 9am, driver needed to pick up some of my guests at a hotel in Atascadero and the rest of us at an Airbnb in Paso Robles. Driver got to us at 930am and our first spot reservations was at 10am. So, of course we were late to our first stop to Rava winery. When we first met our driver Rick he seemed annoyed and not very welcoming or friendly. The bus only has 2 bottles of champagne for 12 people which not everyone could have. I just wish I knew they were only providing to 2 bottles. They did provide small water bottles and cups. The bus was clean and very nice. We did enjoy ourselves but we were only able to do 3 stops and half my group needed to get an uber back to their hotel after the third stop because we were running out of time which I was really upset about. I messaged the company to speak to a manager about our experience but I never got a call back or a response. I would love to try them out again to give them another chance but I'm afraid I will get the same experience.
