We spent a delightful day with Edith visiting four wineries on the west side. Edith is very responsive, reliable, and detail-orientated. She is a considerate driver who takes pride in her work and her Mercedez SUV was immaculate. We appreciate that Edith is covid-conscious - she wore a mask at all times in the car (we did too, by choice). For this trip, we pre-selected 4 wineries and made our own reservations. However, when one winery didn't work out despite our reservation (overbooked), Edith got us into a fabulous winery at the last minute at 4pm on a busy Friday afternoon. We booked her services for a recent girls trip, there were five of us and were very comfortably in her SUV. She stocked the doors with a fresh cold water bottle after every stop and made sure we were always taken care of. Even leading up to our trip, Edith and I were in consistent contact to plan our day and she made sure to inform me which places needed reservations ahead of time and called ahead for us. She had to go on a trip the week before our tour and she let me know in case I needed to contact her. She made sure to lock down our reservations ahead of time before her trip. For someone who likes to plan ahead, I really appreciated this professionalism, excellent level of communication and quality service from Edith. This is the first wine tasting tour where I didn't get a hangover and I give all the credit to Edith who kept us hydrated and well fed throughout the day. I really didn't know what a bad job I've been doing staying hydrated until spending the day with Edith. She had glasses of water at the ready with every glass of wine we tasted. In addition to that, she went above and beyond the call of duty in various other ways, such as running home while we were on a private tour to get mosquito repellant for my friend who was getting eaten alive and helping us hold down a table at a busy pizza place we ate at for lunch. And most importantly, she was just good company. It was a pleasure to sit in her spacious and beautiful car and chat with her (albeit progressively more drunkenly, from our end) as we went from winery to winery. She was non-judgmental, kind, thoughtful, and companionable in every way and was so open to helping us plan our day and make changes on the fly so that we could try everything we wanted. She was knowledgable about the wineries and the area overall and even found a place for us to attend an olive oil tasting (in truth, we could not handle any more alcohol in our systems lol).
