We had amazing experience on our wine tour with Edith. She was extremely helpful from the start with great recommendations for wineries, restaurants, and places to visit while in Paso Robles area. She booked all our tastings and made the itinerary making sure it fit with our preferences and also allowed us time to enjoy the wineries and have lunch along the way. This was no small feat because a lot of places were booking up fast. On the day of our tour, Edith was just as helpful: pointing out interesting sights along the way, making sure we were well taken care of at the wineries, and checking on us along the way. When one of our tastings was not going well, she talked to tasting room manager to make sure we got the scoop behind the wines, not just the basic tasing notes. Edith was great! We were lucky enough to book her and a Mercedes SUV for two days and it was a perfect experience. She had plenty of bottled water for us, phone chargers in the vehicle, and good recommendations. She collaborated on our winery choices, and we had enough room in our schedule for some flexibility and Edith came through with really solid choices of more wineries. Edith is THE best!!!! We have been to Paso Robles three times and we always make sure to book Edith. She is not only a driver, she is also a curator. Not only does she give very helpful recommendations, but she also books all of our winery appointments for us and makes sure we have enough time to enjoy the wines and also get to where we need to be on time. She goes out of her way to make sure every detail of the trip is absolutely perfect. My boyfriend and I are vegan, which can make it difficult in terms of making sure we have access to food throughout our day. We headed back to Paso Robles again this year and once again contacted Edith Jones at Cal Limo for our wine tour. Edith, by far, is the finest host imaginable. From start to finish we had the BEST day wine tasting with Edith as our guide. Edith is knowledgeable about the Paso Robles and all the surrounding areas. This year we wanted a very unique trip and she helped us put together the perfect trip. She was so kind, quick to respond to phone calls and e-mails and made all of our reservations for us. She even checked out spots for dining and other events for us during our stay in Paso. When the day arrived, our group of 4 was promptly picked up by Edith in her immaculate Mercedes. Edith is fun, kind, knowledgeable, engaging and made sure our every need was taken care of the entire day. At the end of the day we wanted to go to one more spot and Edith came up with several options for us based on our taste in wine. She did some calling around and brought us to Dilecta Wines, where she introduced us to the owner and his Mom (who does all the art for the winery and wine labels). Went with fellow reviewer Amy H. And it's all true. My friend, who is getting married in Paso Robles this fall, was supposed to book something else to get us around and it didn't work out. Little did we know it was going to be the best thing to happen to us all weekend. Edith was the consumate professional. She went above and beyond any Napa/Sonoma Wine Country driver experience I've ever had. Cal Limo has a 9-person Jaguar limo and a Mercedes sedan. Given that there were only 3 of us, my friend wisely booked the sedan. Edith walked us into every winery to make sure we'd be taken care of and was so attentive that the car was ready and cooled down and she assisted with taking our numerous purchases to the car when we wrapped up each visit. She also had snacks in the car, which were very much appreciated a couple of stops into the day. Edith took pictures of us, so we wouldn't have to worry about recording the day! Even though a couple of us are Instagram addicts, so we still had our phones out, we could've put them away for the day and still had pictures to capture the moments of our picture perfect excursion. Edith provided excellent service to our recent 5 1/2 hour wine tour for my boyfriend and myself -- both in terms of making the initial reservations and the actual tour. I wanted to book a guided tour because of not only the limitations re COVID on the respective wineries (viz. Edith knew which wineries were open, which required reservations, etc. and delegating this task to her saved an incredible amount of time and headache.) but also because of my limited experience both with wine and the area. At each location, everyone greeted Edith with a huge smile and a deference that only comes from years of building a long standing and trusted reputation in the community. Edith also accommodated our last minute hotel changes, urgent requests for lunch (we were all of a sudden starving and if course didn't plan ahead despite Edith's gentle encouragements the day prior) and my boyfriend's 3 1/2 hour last minute conference call (she was great company too !). Suffice to say the prices were very reasonable, especially in light of all the value that Edith brought us last weekend. She took care of all reservations, made reservations where needed and offered suggestions as appropriate. We had some challenges with some places being closed that we want to taste and she was very flexible and patient as we worked through our itinerary. This is the second time that we hired her to take us around for a guy trip wine tasting in Paso Robles. Edith is absolutely fabulous ! I purchased wine at a winery, and before I got back to the limo, it was gone and packed away and neatly labeled so we all knew who bought what. I cannot recommend her and the limo services enough ! We did a 2 day trip, and after the 1st day, we had tracked in dirt from the wineries in the limo, but on the 2nd day, the limo was spotless, inside and out! She also hooked us up with some wineries that were not open or only open by appointment, and we just all had a fabulous time. 5+ stars here!!! read more
