Well now this time I did it backing into a garage there was this wrought iron basket, not mine. My bumper caught it and it pulled away. It looked bad and couldn't be ignored. What's damaged, I don't know, do I need a new bumper because something got damaged behind it, again, no clue. He gave me some info, but said I should speak to Oliver. At first I was going to go mini, but then went full. When I inquired he told me what they do for each, there was no upsell, no pressure. I will say it looks beautiful. I also had them do some touch up where the paint came off. The gave the exterior a very good wash. I'm very pleased with the whole process, and recommend them highly. After the job was complete, the owner asks me the price we agreed on and I told him $30. He goes into a crazy tantrum saying how he would never accept the job for so low and tried to charge me $80. I argued back saying how he told me twice $30 and we settled on $40 cash only. State Farm had Tony's Auto Collision on their list of pre-approved repair facilities so I figured I'd give this place a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by how thorough the inspector was in reviewing the damage to my car. He also noticed a not so perfect job by the previous owner to clean up damage around another part of the car. Good eyes! I dropped my car off on another day when the parts came in (about a week later) to the shop. Now here's where the fun began. It took three weeks and multiple phone calls on my part to figure out when my car would be finished. Why do I have to call every week to figure out what's going on with my car? The damage to my car was not as severe (fender benders), so the lack of communication really bothered me. Thankfully I had another car, but if I had to pay for a rental car for that long, I would have been pissed off. In the end, I finally got my car back in tip top shape, and I guess that's what ultimately matters. I just wish I didn't have to harass the folks here to get a straight answer and a status update.
