It was a rough winter for my car. Two separate accidents, neither of which I was actually in the car for. State Farm had Tony's Auto Collision on their list of pre-approved repair facilities so I figured I'd give this place a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by how thorough the inspector was in reviewing the damage to my car. He also noticed a not so perfect job by the previous owner to clean up damage around another part of the car. Good eyes! I dropped my car off on another day when the parts came in (about a week later) to the shop. Now here's where the fun began. It took three weeks and multiple phone calls on my part to figure out when my car would be finished. Why do I have to call every week to figure out what's going on with my car? The damage to my car was not as severe (fender benders), so the lack of communication really bothered me. Thankfully I had another car, but if I had to pay for a rental car for that long, I would have been pissed off. In the end, I finally got my car back in tip top shape, and I guess that's what ultimately matters. I just wish I didn't have to harass the folks here to get a straight answer and a status update. read more

Absolute garbage. I got in an accident, my insurance company listed them as a repair shop in my area. The reviews were decent so I brought it in. After three weeks of it being in the shop they told me it was done. Picked up my jeep and something didn't feel right. Took a look under the vehicle and they only fixed the body and bumpers, didn't even check under the car. I still had bent parts underneath, the front passenger tire was rubbing against the frame. I took it back, furious with them and the adjuster said, "well the way you described the accident and from the damage we say we didn't think there were any mechanical issues. THATS WHY I COME TO YOU, SO YOU CAN LOOK THE WHOLE VEHICLE OVER BECAUSE YOU ARE THE PROFESSIONALS. Well they took it back and "fixed it" again. Started driving and noticed now the vehicle had a death wobble. This time I took it to a buddy of my who works on cars and we both looked at it. The track bar bolts on one side was only hand tight. This is one of the most unprofessional repair companies I've ever dealt with and will not be going back. Do yourself a favor and go to a shop that will get it right the first time. So it doesn't cost your more time and money than necessary. read more

This is the second time I brought my Jeep here as I had the unfortunate luck of hitting a deer this year and being involved in a hit and run in the past. Both times, Tony's provided excellent service! They are upfront with the detailed work and quickly inform you of when your car will be ready. They work well with your insurance company and return your car as good as new complete with a detailed cleaning of the interior and exterior. I would highly recommend this location to anyone. read more

I completely trust Tony's. Honest, reliable, great work. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating too! Highly recommend.

Horrible experience. They work with the insurance company to scam you out of money. They were paid to fix my bumper and grill but they left it damaged and unrepaired and the insurance company will say that you were not specific enough about where the damages were. Do not bring your car here. They did not inspect my vehicle properly before taking it for a road test and ended up damaging my car further. Ask your insurance to let you hold the repair money instead of the shop. Do not fall for their fee scams read more

Wei is a great human being which is not always the case in this business. The quality is TOP notch. The pricing is fair. If you look at the quality you get at this shop for the money you pay, it's a great bargain. read more

Tony's Auto Collision Center - Body Shops Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I can't say enough great things about this place. I was recently in an accident and having been a northsider for the past ten years, was unsure about where to go for body work. State Farm gave me a couple of places and I knew as soon as I called Tony's it was the right place. Not only did the receptionist help me get my car towed quickly, she walked me through the whole process. Everyone I spoke to over the next week was friendly and helpful and made what could have been a difficult process very easy. read more

I was recently involved in an accident where the damage was completely covered by the other party's insurance. Tony's did their best to make sure that all of the damage was accounted for in all of the paperwork. They even called the adjuster back when they noticed some damage that was not documented. My car looked brand new when they were finished with it. They even went the extra mile and cleaned my car. Everything was done in a timely manner. This was my second time bringing my car to them and I was extremely satisfied with their services. read more

Excellent service my car handle was installed and I was gone in 15 minutes. The ladies in the office were so nice to my 83 year old father who came in to get my quote. I highly recommend this location, parking is available and the waiting area has coffee water and a plug for phone chargers. Keep up the great work! read more

This has to be one of the worst experiences of my life. I had my car here for over a month and after 3 days of having it back it started squealing. I brought it in and they tell me they don't know how to fix it!? They let me take my vehicle with brake issues. I drive my son around in this car, this place does not care about the consumer. I received very Unreliable service at this shop. I advise anyone looking to bring their car in to go elsewhere. It is now a month after receiving my car and it is now inoperable. Even worse is I didn't even get the chance to see what was changed on my vehicle. They broke the law as I requested for my parts they said what difference would it have made. read more

Great service!!! Everyone was very friendly, very accommodating, and they did fantastic work on my car, which was brand new (I only had it 9 days when someone rear ended me). They handled all the extra stuff with the insurance. I was able to leave my HERTZ rental there which was very convenient. They even pulled my car back into the shop so I could see the finished work in the light. My car looks good as new. If you need any body work done on your car, this is the place to go. read more

I am currently in my second go 'round with Tony's after getting hit this morning in a busy intersection. The first time was when a driver rear-ended me on the Kennedy. Though I have bad luck with Chicago drivers, I have had extraordinary luck finding Tony's. They stayed open an hour late to accept my car after State Farm screwed up and instructed the tow truck to go to an entirely different place. (FYI - They have their own 24 hour towing service that will work out much better!) They even offered to give me a ride home when State Farm screwed up AGAIN on my rental car. I'm so thankful that their kindness made a difficult morning a little better. My car was fixed in a timely manner and at a reasonable price last time, so I expect the same service this time. I won't be going anywhere else! read more

Absolute great job on my car. My car looks just as it did when I took it out the lot brand new. They all were so nice, and Ray even stayed after hours waiting for me to get off work so I could come pick my car up!! Everything exceeded expectation, and it is very appreciated! Definitely going to be my permanent auto shop for anything I need read more

Great auto body shop. Honest, diligent and professional. Stand behind their work. Easy to deal with.

The estimate I got was AMAZING !! That is where the good part ends... NOTHING Tony'y Auto Collision Center did conformed to the estimate to include time frame... work to be done, communication, and ABOVE ALL HONESTY..... The shop owner had the audasity to call me a liar of facebook even....... https://www.facebook.com/pg/tonyscollision352/reviews/?ref=page_internal Avoid this place like the plague unless you don't mind all of the above on one of their bad days...... read more

Nobody visits an auto body shop on a good day. Walking through the door means the something bad has happened, and the people you meet at the shop make a difference. The team at Tony's Auto Collision Center gets it. I first took a car to Tony's over twenty years ago, and I dealt with Ron (son of the founder, Tony). I visited Tony's again last month, and I dealt with Wei and Stephanie. Every interaction with this team has been clear, informative, and professional. Their prices are fair, their quality is high, and I strongly recommend them to anyone who needs auto body repair in Chicago. read more

I could not recommend Tony's Auto Center highly enough. I have had two experiences with them over the last 3 years. Both times, they have exceeded my expectations on quality of work, time to delivery and price The two times I have been in a collision have both been on country roads (one with an in attentive driver who hit me and most recently in January - a deer collision). Because I have just one car and need to cart kids to school and get to work the convenient location of this shop is also key (orange line stop). From start to finish, everything was as expected. Wei did a very accurate estimate and he was able to schedule the work after parts arrived. This minimized my time without a car which helped out greatly. They delivered the car on time and in excellent repair. This morning, when I went to pick up the car, I had to look at the licence plate to make sure that it was indeed my 12 year old car, it looked that good! Thank you Wei, front desk staff and the Tony's Auto Collision repair team. You are the best! read more

Referred to Tony's by a nearby auto shop to align my car's door. Fast(~40min) and the result is good. The price is not low but acceptable. I will call them next time I have an issue with my car. read more

I recently discovered that in order to replace my headlight lamps in my car that the whole front bumper needed to be removed. It was suggested that I call a body shop to obtain an estimate as it would probably be less expensive than the dealer. So I contacted Tony's and explained my situation. At first they were a little hesitant because this was somewhat of an unusual and small job. However, Wade assisted me in taking care of this problem with no problem...I mean generally a headlight bulb replacement is something simple to do usually. But in any case these people took care of me and got me on my way in no time. I'd definitely return and refer them to friends/family. read more

Professional, expert eye for details and timely!!!

This is the second time I have brought a vechie to Tony's. I have to say while I was hapy with the first experience, this time I am ECSTATIC!!! I thought that my car was going to be a total loss, but Tony's did the best job I have ever seen - I feel like I have a brand new car. From my initial dealing with them after this accident, the receptionists were wonderful, informative and helpful. Everyone that I spoke to was very professional and courteous, I mean we're talking above and beyond Customer Service, which is such a rarity these days....I WOULD RECOMMEND TONY'S TO ANYONE WHO thinks that their car is a goner...KUDOS to all the mechanics and staff there for a job super well done!!!! I can't thank you enough!!! read more

Referred to Tony's by my daughter. I was sad because I've only had my new car for 3 days and had the rear scraped on concrete. Wei was such a wonderful person. He assured me that it will be taken care of like new. Not only did Wei explained what needed to be done; he was also concerned about my feelings. Immediately I felt better after leaving my car. In addition, the bill came out to be less than estimated. Thank you Wei!!! read more

This place has poor customer service. I wanted an estimate on several scratches on car doors and the girl at the desk offered an appointment for the following week? I stated that I didn't want to wait that long for just an estimate. She spoke to her manager and he said he'd be out in a couple minutes. 5 minutes later he arrogantly walked right past me didn't even acknowledge that I was waiting on him. I then was happy to leave. If this is the treatment given before service is rendered, then what can you expect? No thanks!! read more

I have had two cars repaired at Tony's and each time is has been a wonderful experience. They have excellent customer service and perform great work. I recommend Tony's every chance I get. read more

The first time I did business with Tony's was in the 60's.They were then located at 31st St. and Quinn in Bridgeport. Ever since then this has been my go to shop to have any body work done on my cars. And in 56 years there have been quite a few. I have just returned from my latest pick up. Even after this long I was treated the same way I was back in 62. Friendly, courteous and efficiently by Ron(Tony's son) ,Wei and the girls in the office. I would happily recommend Tony' for any body work needed to be done. You won't regret it. read more
