We returned a car that we rented in Indiana it was seamless, we did have a little trouble finding the office on the 3rd floor of the garage but we called them and they told us exactly how to get in, we had just driven 3 hrs to get to Chicago, the idea of unpacking 4 suitcases and other bag and walking to our hotel was just to much, Matt told us he would drive us in the car we were returning. No unpacking in the garage . Just hopped back in and brought to the hotel. The nicest guys work there. Would recommend the millennium park enterprise to anyone who asks!!!! Thank you guys!!! read more

I am updating my review of Enterprise. Exactly 1 year later on the same date, a young man from corporate came across this issue that I started a year ago and was able to look at my Enterprise account and knew exactly what had gone wrong and actually gave me my money back that the original Enterprise location refused to refund. I could not believe it. All is well after one whole year. read more

Benji was pleasant, attentive , and very knowledgeable-even told us about the nearest bathroom. Not his fault it was closed!

First time renting from a non airport location while on vacation. Been a long term customer of Enterprise and must say Zach and his team here was probably one of the best I've ever dealt with! Super professional and friendly. Made my renting experience easy. This location is interesting as it's just in a parking garage, but Zach explained things well and it makes so much sense. Also, he explained the toll system very clearly and made going into Indiana seamless! Kudos to his team!!! read more

Easy rental process from check-in to return. Hidden a bit in the parking garage, but easy to navigate to once inside the garage lobby. Friendly staff, clean cars, and fair pricing made this a win for our recent mini road trip for the day. read more

Rented here a handful of times now, the staff is genuinely friendly, helpful, and efficient.

After flying in from a rough start to the day, the nice man at the counter was extremely helpful, friendly and made renting the car a much easier experience than anticipated. In watching all counter agents, they were all friendly, kind, and patient with other tired travelers, and made it a breath of fresh air. The car was clean, and had just been washed. 10/10!! read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Comfortable car - Car Rental Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Thank you enterprise for guys really appreciate went out your way to help getting ambulance when my niece she got sick on the premises during the time of a car rental great work you guys staff was the greatest at Randolph enterprise in Chicago. read more

They never have cars ready. They never have cars. Customer service trash. If I didn't need a car, I would not be using these people at all.

They rented me a car with the maintenance required light on that had cracks/chips in the windshield and wasn't vacuumed at all. I felt unsafe during my ride. Enterprise should care more about its customers' safety and overall experience. read more

While visiting Chicago for a week, I rented a car for the first time. The entire process was simple enough, select a car and pay for it online. Travel to Enterprise location and pick up car. Have a good vacation. Drop off rental car. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Pros: - They found our reservation - Nice staff - Upgraded free of charge - The Kia Soul functioned Cons: - Difficult location - The car was FILTHY! Backseats were covered in sand. Why don't they clean they cars once they are returned? - I reeeally don't recommend driving around Chicago, there's an Uber/Lyft for that. read more

Bumping down a star for a couple minor annoyances. I rented again from them last weekend; they gave me a car that had just been returned (which, in and of itself was fine). However, they explained that their hose to wash the car wasn't working because it had frozen. Okay, fine, it was cold, the car doesn't have to be clean. But, what they did was try to wipe off the windows, and since it was so cold the water froze in streaks on the windows-all of them. It made it very hard to see. Driving at night was okay because I could see the lights of the cars, but when I tried to drive it during the day I had to stop and clean all the windows off so I could see. Not a huge thing, but a minor annoyance, and one that could have been avoided. Also, when I called to make the reservation I applied two coupon codes for a free rental day each to the reservation, and was quoted a price that included the discount. When I received my receipt after turning in the car I noted the coupons had not been applied to my rental. The staff at the location has always been friendly, so I have no complaints there. Also, slightly random, but I don't understand why they always try to push the "free upgrade" on me. I'm a smaller person, I like a smaller(ish) car. I don't want to drive a big honking SUV, nor do I want the bad gas mileage it brings or the cost of filling up the tank. I know some people like this perk, so it's fine they offer and I'm not really complaining about it, just an observation. read more

Rented cars from this Enterprise location 3 or 4 times and enjoyed the awesome service. This location is only 2 blocks from where I live and I especially like renting from this location because of the availability of after hours return (you just park the returned car in one of the enterprise parking spots and then drop the keys off in a secure key box). Staff are friendly, cars have always been clean and in good condition. Favorite place to get a car! read more

After a hit and run accident of our brand new car, we needed extensive repairs on our car and needed to rent a car while ours was in the shop. Geico insurance uses enterprise as their preferred provider so we walked over to this location just a few blocks from our house. They bill Geico direct so you only have to pay any overages above your daily reimbursement rate. We had a bike trip planned during the time our car was in the shop and the staff here (John in particular) went above and beyond to make sure we had a vehicle that would work to transport two bikes on our trip. The first car we rented would not fit the bikes (Nissan Rogue) so we returned it and he gave us a Dodge Caravan Van. He even folded down all the seats for us so we could pop them into the back of the van. The van was super comfortable on our trip. We received great service renting and great service when returning the car - they are super quick so we only had to wait a few minutes each time. Best of all he only charged us the rate that Geico would reimburse - very kind and compassionate experience...a rarity in these days. If I ever have a need to rent a car, I will definitely use them again. Thank you Enterprise! Just FYI in case someone else needs to rent a vehicle to transport bikes - I found a utube video that showed how to put the bikes in the vehicle (fold down all but front two seats, remove front bike wheels, attach a zip tie to the seat belt on the drivers side, load bikes from side or back sitting upright laying against the side of the car, then bungee cord them to the zip tie...place front wheels between the secured bike frames). They were very secure AND did not rattle. I even had room left over for luggage and a small foam bed that I could rest on for my bad back. read more

The WORST experience at a car rent location EVER. I wanted over 2 hours to get a rental that I had made a reservation one week in advance to get & had to leave without a car due to the lack of cars. The staff would lie about when a car was coming & refused to answer questions honestly. read more

I went in without a reservation and the people were very helpful. They had a car and got it ready very quickly. I was returning on a Sunday after their regular hours and everything went smoothly. I left the keys in the key drop and they called me to confirm that everything was set and to make sure I was happy. An excellent experience overall read more

Rented a compact car via the website and came to pick it up. Gabby Harding helped me. She was excellent. Quick, competent, well-spoken, friendly, and gave me a great upgrade since no compacts were available. Ask for her. When I dropped it off, she was even quicker but not less friendly. Bottom line: exceptional service in the heart of the loop. I'll do all my renting from this location. read more

I received the best customer service and got a great rate on a rental this week. This location is a block to the Blue Line CTA to O'Hare and walking distance to most everything. I was able to have a great weekend visiting friends in the Loop then tour Greater Chicago with the rental car for a couple of days afterward. This location is well managed and staffed. read more

Wish I could have give this location below zero stars. Was told to leave the office in zero degree weather after taking the Subway from Midway airport. I wanted to use a credit/debit card which I have done many times before at enterprise and other car rentals. Manager, Bex Trout, says he had called me to make sure I am using a major credit card. I check my phone. He called 12 minutes before I arrived. I tell him it seemed he would have called the day before prior to me leaving Georgia since I had a reservation. He says I need 2 utility bills and instate Id to use my card. I ask if this is a published enterprise policy or one he is making up off the top of his head. He says he is offended. I have disrespected him and I must get out of his office. I leave. I go to the building lobby to try to use my phone to locate another car rental. I reach HERTZ. They will take my card but I must walk 7 blocks to their location. I am already freezing. It is zero degrees and I am not prepared to walk nearly a mile. I finally get a car from Hertz using the same credit/debit card and much Respect!!! Horrible customer service!!! Inhuman, uncaring, compassionless treatment!!! I'm from out of town!!! It's freezing outside!!!!! A Cold town and a Cold Heartless Company!!! Even if you don't give me a car, must I be put out in the cold!!!! read more

Enterprise never fails to impress me and this rental experience was no exception. Becks is a wonderful, helpful employee. I'm so grateful he put me in a 4-wheel drive car Christmas eve to brave the snowstorms, and get me home for the holidays. I don't believe I would have safely made it without this thoughtful upgrade. Thank you for putting the safety and comfort of your customers first. Enterprise rocks, and so does Becks! read more

The best in the city! Hands down best service I've received in a long time...I had a situation where my car was impounded and from the phone call to make a reservation, the pick up experience, to having to drop off the car early...this team was not only accommodating, but they were efficient, kind and made the entire process stress free. I rarely make reviews but was compelled to in this case because in our day good service is hard to come by. Thank you! read more

Totally thieves So I rented a car from this location (Millennium Park, 20 e Randolph)last month and was charged then. And at the beginning of this month I found out I was charged once more! Omg right??!! When I called this location and spoke with Emma, she was very distance and cold, she told me maybe my bank did it. Whaaa!!!??? And she kept pushing me off, telling me to call back for a manager. Then when I did call back,Charlie or Nate or whatever his name was because I sensed he was lying, said he doesn't know what happened and will have his higher ups give me a call... All good right??? He never asked me for my name or number!!! I called corporate so many times, they're being investigated as I write. What I believe is that this is a little scam they run on people and they have yet to be caught. Until now, I will make sure the world knows how corrupt and dishonest this location is!! DONT GO HERE!!! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!!! read more

Best car rental location I've ever used. Friendly, fast, newer cars, and they aren't pushy with the upselling. My husband and I will pay more money to rent from this specific location because they are top notch. read more

These guys go above and beyond to get you in and out quickly. Joe, who recently left to move out of State, was just the nicest guy, but really all the guys are cool and friendly. I've rented probably 30 cars without issue, and even a gigantic van from here to pick up a vintage table out in the burbs (they removed the seats for me). They always seem to try to go out of their way, and it's these little things that make the customer happy. read more

First time at this location for a family vacation. They weren't able to pick me up because they were busy so they creditted the taxi cab fare. Great service from charlie and Jason. More accommodating than other locations, especially airport. No car seats available at this branch. I've been renting from this location because it's close to my home and work. Having Sunday hours is a big plus as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I always recommend this location to my colleagues and friends. Having rented from competitors, I've found that Enterprise service and quality is far above the others. read more

Had a great experience at this hidden gem of a location. Used Priceline to find an agency close to where I was staying on E. Randolph and this was perfect. Didn't have a major Enterprise affinity per se', it just worked well. I needed a minivan for a one day rental (IKEA run!) for a new apartment and the woman who helped me showed us how the seats folded down into the van (and then did it for us.) Paperwork was speedy. Dodge Caravan was in great shape and though not particularly cheap, it was exactly what we needed so I didn't quibble. Easy to get in and out of the location. Only challenge we had was that we returned it after office closed and there were no open spots for the van to be parked in (the one that was left was too skinny.) So we did some creative parking and it turned out to be fine. Even received a follow up phone msg the next day to confirm the total charge on the card (gas had to be added) and to check on our experience. Highly recommend. read more

Shame on you Enterprise. I reserved a car after my long trip sailing on the USS America with my Sailor son. I reserved it ahead of time and prepaid for $108.00. I got to the Columbus, Ohio airport and since i did not have my flight confirmation # handy. My computer was dead and it is the only way i can access my emails. They refused to rent to me because i was using a debit card. My son feeling bad for me stepped up to offer his "Major Credit Card" and instead of leaving the reservation in my name they switched it to his name. He is 23 and in the Navy. He makes roughly $600 a week. The raped him with a price of $380. and then told me i did not qualify to drive the car. She was very condescending!! That is triple the price and i was right there the car was for me. We were tired as we had flown all day, and I did not want to upset my son, so we left with the car. I cannot believe that your company did this. Oh and by the way i did show that i had a "major credit card" and was told i could drive the car on the way out, after they gouged me for triple the price i had reserved the car for. I will never use you again, and i will tell everyone about my experience. You took advantage of a young man who has a limited income serving our country. I will always used Budget from now on. As i have always used them, and they don't have a problem with my "debit card." read more

I rent cars a lot for work and when I can I will always choose to rent from this office. The office is well-managed and their service is impeccable! Every agent I have rented a car from has been friendly and down-to-earth. In fact, If you have been there more than a few times, they know your name when you walk in the door, which is pretty wonderful! Since I do not own a car, I also favor this office because it is conveniently located to stops on all train lines that stop downtown. If you have a chance, definitely rent from this office! read more

Recently rented a car for the day, it was Good Friday so I thought it would be busy and expensive...but it wasn't! Damir Pacic helped us and he couldn't be more wonderful. We had a choice between two intermediate sized vehicles, he asked us where we were going and threw in a toll-pass for free. He explained everything so well too. Parking is funky because it's in a garage that's shared w/ other businesses - this particular office is on the 3rd floor of the garage so you have to return the car to the same parking level. I LOVE the after hours drop-off feature, it makes a huge difference and they don't gauge you by charging extra when you don't need it. Highly recommend this location...ask for Damir! read more

These guys are the best, especially Weston and Garrett. I rent from here a lot for work and the service is always outstanding.

Enterprise, please clean your cars in between use. Half empty Gatorade bottles, crumbs all over, and a stick-on fake finger nail in my seat. Disgusting. read more

This review, while extremely long, might be of general interest to anyone renting a car, as it provides information about the laws governing insurance requirements. I retrieved a rental car from this location on September 19, 2014. While reviewing my options for purchasing insurance for my rental, I was given misleading information by the associate that I dealt with (whose name was, according to Enterprise's records, Steven). I was quite certain about my situation with respect to damage to the rental vehicle (which is what a collision damage waiver concerns). However, the associate told me that liability insurance was a different matter, and that, if I were stopped by law enforcement, I might be required to prove that I had the mandatory minimum insurance required by the state. I told the associate that I'd never heard of this throughout years of renting cars, and that I'd look into it. He let me be on my way. A phone call to the Office of the Secretary of State revealed that the information about liability insurance that I was given by the Enterprise associate does not pertain to renting a vehicle. In the state of Illinois, the law requires rental companies to have liability insurance on all rental vehicles (in the Illinois Compiled Statutes, it's 625 ILCS 5/Ch. 9; see http://ilga.gov/legislation/ilcs/ilcs4.asp?DocName=062500050HCh.+9&ActID=1815&ChapterID=49&SeqStart=106900000&SeqEnd=108000000). All rental vehicles must be "insured to a minimum amount of $50,000 because of bodily injury to, or death of any one person or damage to property and $100,000 because of bodily injury to or death of 2 or more persons in any one motor vehicle accident." These amounts exceed the legal minimums (which the Office of the Secretary of State notes for easy reference here: http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/departments/vehicles/mandatory_insurance.html). Also, the law states that a driver can give evidence of the minimum mandatory insurance by providing "a current rental agreement" (625 ILCS 5/7-602, http://ilga.gov/legislation/ilcs/ilcs4.asp?DocName=062500050HCh.+7+Art.+VI&ActID=1815&ChapterID=49&SeqStart=102400000&SeqEnd=103600000). The law specifies that "the owner of any motor vehicle to engage in the business... of renting out such motor vehicle" (625 ILCS 5/9-101) must prove to the state that is has insurance against "damage to property", "death", or "injury" "resulting from the operation of the motor vehicle" by "any person operating the motor vehicle with the customer's and the owner's express or implied consent" (625 ILCS 5/9-103 and 9-105). I pull these quotes just to make completely clear that the insurance that the car rental company is required to have doesn't somehow apply only to the rental car but leave the customer liable for the consequences of their actions, as this was suggested to me by another Enterprise associate at a different date and location. The only financial liability that is necessarily and immediately borne by the customer is damage to the rental vehicle itself and possible consequences thereof, such as the rental company losing use of the vehicle (again, this is what is at issue when a customer accepts or declines a collision damage waiver; see "Renter's Financial Responsibility and Protection Act", 625 ILCS 27, http://ilga.gov/legislation/ilcs/ilcs3.asp?ActID=1820&ChapterID=49). So, it is simply false to claim that a customer might violate the minimum insurance law if he or she didn't purchase liability insurance from Enterprise (or else happen to have such insurance from another source). This falsehood was, at a minimum, expressly and deliberately implied by the associate with whom I dealt, if perhaps not stated outright (my recollection of what was said isn't precise enough to make the latter assertion). The same thing happened again two months later (on November 14, 2014) at another local Enterprise location (1810 Maple Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, where I was helped by an associate named Charles). I cannot know whether the perpetuation of this falsehood was deliberate deceit or just an error, but I find either to be completely unacceptable. Furthermore, I am concerned that I encountered the very same presentation of this falsehood, referencing the same possibility of being stopped by law enforcement, on two different occasions at different Chicago-area Enterprise locations. Additionally, I am specifically concerned that I was asked to consider the possibility that I might be stopped by law enforcement. I'm black, male, and thirty-something (and I might seem to be a few years younger than my age). I worry that the hypothetical traffic stop was suggested on the assumption that a person of my demographic profile is especially likely to have encounters with law enforcement; specifically, I worry that the suggestion was made to play on fears of being targeted by law enforcement that might be harbored by a person of my demographic profile. read more
