D & S received my…read morevehicle the morning of 10/29 and did not assess and submit a supplemental until 11/11 which the insurance approved immediately. D&S kept me in the loop and provided thorough information about the repairs needed and how the technicians would achieve this process in a timely manner. Once the assessment was complete, I was informed if parts came timely repairs would be done the first week of December at the top of the week and I'd be able to pick up my vehicle then. Harley did a wonderful job of communicating each step with me providing a timeline of when my vehicle would be ready. I was then informed it would take more time to put my vehicle back together than previously anticipated so my vehicle would be ready by 12/05 rather than the top of the week. Harley let me know the team was unable to complete putting my vehicle back together by EOD and my vehicle would be ready by 12/08 at the earliest and 12/09 at the latest along with approval from the insurance company of a second and final supplement for the labor to put my vehicle back together that the team did not originally anticipate. Calibrations and clean up weren't complete until 12/09. Harley then informed me the service writer was unable to finish sending the information to the insurance company by EOD 12/09. 12/10 the information / final supplement was sent over to the insurance company to review. I was finally able to pick up my vehicle 12/12 after I called the insurance company several times to expedite their review of the supplement money needed for the extra labor costs of putting my vehicle back together which D&S did not anticipate during their initial review. D&S finished calibrations and cleanup 12/09 but would not release it until they received the supplement from the insurance for the extra labor costs. The body work looks and feels amazing, you cannot tell my rear bumper was replaced. Only downsides, the technician my mom and I spoke to was unable to tell us if the vehicle had a full paint job. Once I went to my vehicle I was unable to access it as the technician forgot to take it out of service mode. I went back into the shop to find someone to take this out of service mode. My panel under my hood of car was not put back, however I popped this back on myself. I appreciate Harley's customer service and updates. The repair team unfortunately left me feeling unnerved about all the 'unexpected' extra work necessary after their review.

After all these years, I still have nothing but great things to say. Dan has always been fair, honest, and genuinely looked out for me as a customer. His son Luke is great as well, along with Marty at the front desk. They're transparent about pricing, explain what actually needs to be done, and I've never felt like they were trying to sell me repairs I didn't need. There have even been times when I brought a vehicle in for something simple, like replacing a headlight bulb, and they didn't charge me for the labor. More importantly, Dan has been willing to tell me when something isn't worth fixing like when a part might make a little noise but is otherwise perfectly fine, and replacing it just to eliminate a squeak wouldn't be worth the money. That kind of honesty is hard to find in this business. After 14 years of taking my vehicles here, I can confidently say Dan is a mechanic you can trust. I remembered several people chiming in how great Cragon Automotive is, and they were very kind to me on the phone when I reached out for another automotive issue prior. So I got Kevin on the line as he was returning from a trip to get some parts. Listening, he expressed empathy and asked me to drive over there and he would at least get the window taped up. The challenge was- I have a Hybrid vehicle, and that special battery is located right underneath the back seat. In other words- any rain will kill my car getting into that battery- or at worst provide a rather "electrifying" experience- and not of the good kind... BUT- leave it to Kevin here, and his "three wise men" to not only secure the car with heavy plastic over cardboard, sealing it tight- but he kindly vacuumed out the back seat that was still covered with glass. He is going to get back with me once he is able to get a quote for parts to replace the window. Over and above! I also noticed they had an excellent price on Cooper Tires- so I'm saving up for those after this phase is through. Excellent service to a slightly traumatized female (me) and friendly guys all around, who took care of me even though they were clearly very busy. I know why they are busy too- honest, kind and thorough. I watched them greeting customers who were picking up as I was waiting, many friendly conversations were had. So in Cleveland if you have aluminum rims at some point you're going to start leaking and my…read moredaughter has a pretty good track record of not telling me when the check engine light's on or when the TPMS sensor is illuminated. I was able to fill her tires the other night as I got cold and a air loss is pretty much normal when the weather changes. When I started her car up this morning she lost 10 lb overnight which of course is not normal. While I was able to get her car from school and get it serviced I haven't had any Tire service done in this neck of the woods I normally go up to Painesville or mentor. My normal tire shop that I go to it's almost a guaranteed wait of half a day. However I wanted to roll the dice and try the first result that came up in my search and that was the shop. Most places are pretty darn busy nowadays but they tend to make room for folks that need help with flat repair. I called them and they got me right in and I was able to walk across the street to get a cup of coffee and a sandwich while I waited. Total time was about 45 minutes which wasn't bad at all and while I did not have any nails in my tire I did have bead leak due to corrosion in the aluminum. Sadly this is a reality of where we live however this shop was kind polite and got me in in very short notice. The total cost for the mountain balance grinding the bead and resealing it was $37 which is ridiculously cheap. Thank you so much for providing a great service at a great value.
