Surprisingly really good. Definitely filling and fresh. Excited to try all of their options. First good experience with a virtual brand.

We loved it so much, not only did we dine there, we ordered a bunch of food to go and drove it home to heat up and eat the next day. The next day food was just as great as when we ate there. It just has wonderful dishes. Founder by Nick Uricchio, and his son Steve they opened Uricchio's Trattoria, clearly a family affair. Sadly, Nick died some time ago. He was the nicest guy and always had a smile on his face. His nick name was Papa Nick. He always said hello to the customers and was just a doll. Go in his honor. It is just as great as when Nick was there. Steve is usually there to greet you and he is wonderful. Uricchio's Trattoria offers a great selection of appetizers, soups (a must) and entrees to satisfy anyone. They have fresh seasonal dishes prepared with care from Executive Chef Raphael Hernandez who has been there forever I think. Parking is easy. Make a reservation, you want to do that. It gets crowded. We have been there without one before and loved sitting at the bar and eating. Anything with shrimp is great. All of their pastas are great. We loved their spaghetti and meat balls. Their vegetables are made right. They don't consider it something just to toss on your plate. They are al dente and so great. Their Linguini pasta with shrimp, scallops, clams and mussels in a tomato basil marinara sauce is my favorite and they have the best salads and desserts. It is a must stop in Bakersfield. The place is beautiful.

Seated for dinner with 90 minutes to spare before our show. Waited an hour for our food because they were understaffed. The food was spectacular, and our waitress (Micah) worked so hard for us. We were really pushed, but the manager (Clair) took such good care of us. Food arrived 5 minutes before we had to leave, but it was so tasty! Leftovers were better the next day. I give it 5 stars because of the overall experience. Great cocktails, great service, spectacular food. Definitely will go back again and again.

Their lasagna is to die for, the bolognese will make you cry tears of joy. The chicken Parmesan was tender and the marinara tasted so fresh. Then the fettuccine Alfredo was the highlight of the meal for me, it was soooo creamy and cheesy and the noodles were perfect. After sampling everything, the fettuccine was what I ended up finishing in the restaurant. The other party members ordered a shrimp scampi with gluten free noodles and the sauce was rich and tasty. We also ordered a child's pepperoni pizza that tasted amazing with the marinara and seemed like it was wood fired. Our waitress was friendly and kind, and also very prompt, which we appreciated. We sat in a booth and enjoyed the ambiance, everyone in the dining room was chatting and having a good time. Will definitely be back!

There is plenty of parking in the front and in the back. Decor isn't so great. Service was not so great. At the end once meals were payed couldn't get a server our way to get to go boxes, so I got up and got them myself. Food was mid‍. I was expecting to be wowed and it just didn't happen. The deep fried ravioli with the dipping sauce is delicious, not going to lie. My steak was a tough. The pasta was very al dente, something neither my daughter nor I are used to and now that we have tried al dente I can say I we are not fans. Shrimp scampi was a tad salty and oily, but the shrimps were cooked to perfection. Nothing special about the desserts. I am a huge fan of carrot cake and tiramisu and both were very underwhelming, especially the lemon tiramisu. The raspberry tea was good. The coconut shrimp were good. The egg thingy with peas was surprisingly delicious the flavor was there and it was cooked to perfection. The white pasta sauce was very bland. I have to admit the seasoning on both the chops and the steak was beautiful but it just carried too much char flavor and as I said meat was tough. Would I go back? Yes, I would give place another chance. Too bad my baby has gone back to Virginia for her next deployment.

It's part of their rotation of specials, but I wish it was a permanent item on their menu! A layer of Al dente capellini covered in sautéed spinach is the bed for the Barramundi, a divine tangy lemony caper sauce with a confetti of diced tomatoes and artichoke leaves tops the fish. They have an Old school vibe. Cloth covered tables. Cloth napkins, dimmed lights but not dark. Old school music in the background. Pet peeve! No reflection on the restaurant. Please people don't wear so much fragrance in a restaurant that everyone smells you as you walk by. A couple was seated right next to me and I had to stop eating and take my meal home because I couldn't taste or smell my splendid meal. I only stayed a little longer to finish my glass of Pino. Even with my nose in the glass I could still smell her fragrance!

The Caesar salad is exceptional with house-made dressing and a generous amount of shaved Parm. The Fettuccine Carbonara though not a true traditional carbonara due to the use of cream as a stabilizer and prosciutto rather than guanciale, is delicious as well. The lasagna was delicious and kept us going back for more until we had no room left after consuming the table bread. The staff is friendly, attentive, and accommodating along with an inviting yet buttoned atmosphere. The restaurant is clean and dimly like t with each table fitted with a lamp for dining. The restrooms are clean as well. The bad reviews here are not a reflection of our experience and we will return again when we're in the area.

To all you 1 star haters. I just want to say I'm a regular and consider myself a pizza connoisseur…read more This is definitely the best in town and in my opinion they use good quality ingredients. They definitely get busy but always make sure you feel welcomed. The guy who attends us always provides amazing service and he's very kind. Can't go without having a good conversation with the man. Never had an issue with getting my food on time. It's been busy and even then they make sure you have best service it's not a fast food so know what to expect. Best believe you will leave with a tummy full but satisfied. If your on your lunch common sense to call ahead of time and expect a wait. They want to give you fresh food like I said it's not a fast food. Can't speak for everything on the menu as I said I'm a pizza connoisseur but so far the best I've had in town and I'm not changing my mind! I love you slice of Italy. Yes the pictures I posted all separate occasions and the pictures speak for themselves. Sincerely, your regular costumer !

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! I ordered delivery from here under their virtual restaurant name "Pasta…read moreItaliano" and it was the single-most unpleasant meal I have ever had delivered to me. For one, the pictures on the app are completely bogus and do not represent what the food actually looks like. I have included somw images of what I received, and you are free to check the food delivery app of your choice to inspect the images yourself. Next is the food itself. I am not Italian, but I felt very offended that anyone would pass this off as authentic. Firstly, the garlic bread- picture the smallest loaf of French bread possible, sliced up with tiny pieces of cheese melted on it. Where's the garlic? At least it was soft I guess. But the biggest insult was the chicken Alfredo. It was like they just cooked the noodles, chopped up a microwaved piece of raw chicken, got some sauce from the supermarket and called it a day. You can see exactly how bland it looks in the picture I provided. Oh, but it gets worse- not only was the sauce flavorless, but the chicken was undercooked. It was so sickening that I instantly threw the food away and resolved myself to write up this review as a WARNING to the community. Do. Not. Dine. Here. Again, if you need any more proof, please check the images I provided.

First time here, only came after 9pm beacuse I was hungry and alone lol…read more I had no idea this place turns into a night club or is a night club after certain hrs. This establishment didn't offer table service, all qr code and get up and get it yourself if your thirsty. That was a real turn off, especially when I got up to get drink #2 my food was gone when I was returning to my table. This place would've got 5 stars but the whole get up and get it yourself was a huge deal breaker. I ordered off the menu that was offered but I had seen online they do offer different food, so maybe after certain hrs they shut kitchen to just finger food. I got the bbq bacon burger with garlic fries and a side of onion straws. Burger 10/10 perfectly cooked, well seasoned and good size for the price. Garlic fries were ordered with NO SALT and they got it right 10/10! Onion straws also ordered with NO SALT and they got it right 10/10! Ranch 10/10. I ordered a drink called Hazelnut Chi Chi 100% 10/10! The only issue I have with the drink is that the menu says $11 but my bill showed $12.50, that is $1.50 they did not mention prior to me ordering the drink. As I mentioned after receiving my second drink and turning atound to return to my table my FOOD WAS GONE! My bartender did take care of me though so shout-out to the young man wearing the tuxedo shirt. He got my order remade to go. Other than being super loud because of live dj it is a cool little spot to have some awesome food. I do recommend and I will go back. P.s. they have rewards so don't forget to sign up.

We came here the other night during a weekday and tried their DIY pasta special…read more The server recommend we try the pesto mixed with the alfredo, so we took his word and yup he wasn't messin around! That combination was fire. We ordered one with shrimp and penne, and the other with chicken and linguine. I also upgraded my adult beverage to a non-alcoholic drink, the raspberry no-jito to be specific ~ He offered to change up the fruit but I love raspberries so I ordered it as is. It actually contains zero proof spirits, so it does sort of taste like alcohol vs just some juice mixed with soda. It was actually refreshing so I'd be down to try the other flavors on the next visit. Service was super quick, friendly vibes all around, restroom was clean, and the restaurant noise levels were good enough for us to still have a convo. My only suggestion would be to grill those big ol shrimp at a higher temperature, the charred flavor would have really turned that pasta into an A plus. Other than that, we had a cool experience and we'll be back!
