We held our April 2026 Red Hat luncheon here--one of our chapter's favorites! The service was friendly and attentive and all the food was delicious! I usually have the Tavern Pizza but tried the chicken sandwich this time and it was great! The decor is Celtic and the background music is enjoyable. We always are glad we come here!!

I stopped in to have dinner with my family. Once inside, we were greeted and seated right away. Both appetizers we ordered were delicious. We ordered the shrimp basket and also a spinach dip with soft warm pita bread. I opted for fish and chips as my main entree and it didn't disappoint. The fish was nice and crispy on the outside, this came out well seasoned. Our server kept our drinks full and there was live music. It was a fun evening at Callahan's!!

Back in today. I had the Reuben the last time and it was fantastic. Today, I decided to try the wings. Not an easy decision after spending five years living in Buffalo. I had five Garlic-Parm, and five Buffalo. They did not disappoint! In fact, I'd say the best around here by far! And as always, fantastic service.

Located in the back end of a somewhat dead strip mall this place is a somewhat hidden gem. Has golf cart parking for the locals living in OPCC. When I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly waitress that seated my family away from an incoming 21st birthday party so we would be able to visit with each other without trying to talk over a big party, which we appreciated. We started our meal by sharing a giant pretzel. It was perfection with a toasted crunchy crust a hot doughy center. I decided on the bangers and mash which I feel is a must anytime trying a new Irish pub or restaurant. The best part of the dish was the bangers and the sauerkraut that covered the bangers. (So good!) The mash was just ok but the gravy had good flavor. The cabbage on the plate I could do without because it wasn't cooked through and had no seasoning. My father definitely recommends the fish and chips. I didn't sample it but it looked good. My mother likes their shepherds pie. I did sample that, it tasted good but I thought it was a bit runny like a stew. I definitely will be back to try some different dishes and sample some brews.

Really nice neighborhood pub. The Irish egg rolls were filling and delicious. The reuben sandwiches are terrific and the corn beef is made in house. It could use a tad more thousand island dressing. The cole slaw is great and they add their own twist with pineapple. Our server, Megan, did a fabulous job.

Walked in had a relaxed bar vibe. Got greeted and seated pretty quickly. Since it was our first visit we chose a couple different items to try. We ordered 2 appetizers: one being the fried zucchini sticks that came with ranch dipping sauce and it was definitely hot and fresh, I added salt, but I would order again. Next the Dubliner which had 3 different items. First the Irish eggrolls described as corned beef, cabbage and mozzarella rolls, secondly some corned beef and cabbage and lastly some shepherds pie. I do think a lot of restaurants would 50% better in their food if they would season it. That's where this food lacked. Salt and pepper would go a HUGE way. The egg rolls would benefit from not having the mozzarella in it, maybe cheddar or a cheese with better flavor. The cabbage was bland, the corned beef was good and made better with their mustard. That's was delicious! I did also enjoy their shepherds pie. If I return I would definitely order that as an entree. He ordered the fish and chips. Described as hand breaded white haddock served with pub fries. He did add salt and pepper and he added malt vinegar and it was good. Very fresh, hot and the crust very crispy. Definitely on a return trip would order again, I also got the Reuben sandwich. The corned beef and cabbage and thousand island dressing. Wasn't enough dressing thankfully extra came with our appetizer plate so I just added extra. It was juicy and good. Would order that again. It was also Tuesday night which is karaoke night would definitely come closer to that time. They must have a lot of them are regulars there. The singing was good!!! Not conducive for quiet conversation and though! Fun environment to be in though! Would visit this place again for the great service and fun vibes. Willing to try other food there.

Being that that Professor was in town and I let her drive a pre meal beverage was going to a necessity. They advertise lots of Irish whiskeys, but thankfully they had a nice Kentucky bourbon as well. Even came to the table over a large rock which was appreciated. The Professor enjoyed Dr Pepper as Pepsi products are offered here. Our appetizer choice was pretzel bites with beer cheese. Generous quantity of tasty, salty nuggets covered in cheesy goodness...what more could you ask for? Sometimes at other places they can be greasy; not so here. Entree selections were fish & chips and shepards' pie. The fish review was good but the filets could've used a bit more salt. The accompanying fries were crispy and well seasoned. No complaints for the shepard's pie. Both dishes were nice portions, to go containers were used for leftovers. The service was friendly, we will return!

Met a friend and ate here for the first time for lunch. It was a beautiful day outside and it is really dark inside this restaurant. It does have great decorations and theme. We were recommended the Reuben and the pineapple Cole slaw. Both I was told were house made. The Reuben was above average and I liked the pineapple Cole slaw a lot. We ordered sides of fries and were very good. We had 4 hippie beers that we really liked. The waitress was excellent and very friendly! I gave 4 stars because for lunch the bill was very high in my opinion. Also I didn't like how dark it was in the restaurant. It is worthy of coming back.

We dined in on a weeknight. We were seated promptly and had friendly, attentive service. We thought the onion rings were just okay but the zucchini sticks were delicious. The fish and chips were generous in their portion with a good cook on the fish. The veggie burger was also good, made of actual veggies and served on a toasted bun. We enjoyed the pineapple coleslaw as a unique change up from fries. The shepards pie was topped with creamy homemade mashed potatoes. The bar was full of what looked to be regular guests having a great time. Aside from the restaurant being on the dark side lighting wise and the booths not having a place to rest your feet (they're the height of a high top) we enjoyed our experience and would go back.

Fantastic first time here! Will be back! First off, patio is dog friendly with water and treat provided. Ambiance is casual but not too much. We both had zucchini fries to start. Very tasty and dogs loved them too. Very generous portion. Fish was delish. The batter is incredibly light and crunchy. Doggos agreed on the cronch! Malt vinegar was on hand. Hooray! Service was perfect with water and treat for Doggos. Fries looked hand cut, crisp and just right amount of saltiness. Service was fast and friendly and the prices were fantastic. We took tons home for later and got a shepherds pie to go as well. With tip, well under $100.00.

BLT with fries (split with husband and they split it for us)

We love this place - the vibe, thefood, the people -10/10! We've had a handful of items: French onion soup - amazing BLT - fantastic Pretzel bites - yes please Spinach artichoke dip - yum And our daughter loves the kids chicken fingers and fries. If you don't order dessert they offer a free cup of their dairy free soft serve which is really good, but the cakes are soooo good you're going to want dessert.

St. Patrick's Day shepherds pie & Smithwick Red Ale.

We stopped in for lunch hoping to beat the St Patrick's Day rush and we did (barely). We have been here before for dinner on a couple of occasions. The ambiance was good. I was not impressed with the high volume / low quality setup for the day. My first time trying shepherds pie and it came slopped in a paper bbq bowl with plasticware. Luckily it tasted way better than it looked. Jordan did a great job as server, very friendly and helpful!

New, excellent, fun, clean spot in town!! Orange Park has gained an awesome place to have a beer, taste fresh food, listen to some Irish music, & share memorable times w/ friends & family! The waitress we experienced this past Tuesday was fast, efficient, friendly, & attentive! Pro Tip: Treat yourself & try the fish n chips! So fresh! The batter is well-seasoned!

The decor is playful and immersive, and there's usually something going on -- from live DJs to karaoke on the main stage. The drink menu is where Nakama really shines. There's a solid selection of mixed drinks, often with creative anime-inspired names and presentations, plus a nice bonus: they serve a local soda brand that's actually pretty tasty. It's the kind of place you go to kick back with friends, sing your heart out, and enjoy the scene. But when it comes to food -- that's where things fall flat. The menu technically comes from the café next door, and while it sounds promising on paper, it doesn't translate well to the plate. Most dishes are either way too salty or bland to the point of forgettable. It's clear food isn't the focus here, which is fine, but it's something to keep in mind if you're showing up hungry. Service is friendly and accommodating. Staff does their best, but they're often out of certain menu items and seem to be working with limited resources -- not their fault, but noticeable. Honestly, a new chef or reworked food concept would go a long way. A quick heads-up: the private karaoke rooms are fun but overpriced at $16 per person per hour, so weigh that before booking. Still, the open-stage karaoke and regular themed events keep the main space lively and fun without the extra cost. Bottom line: Nakama is a great place to hang out, drink, and enjoy anime-themed entertainment. Just maybe eat beforehand.
