I have not been to Miller's ale house in sometime as I much prefer local family owned restaurants…read more However, we came here today because the place we were going to is not available and we had the distinct privilege of having Amora as our server. I asked her what she recommended when it came to the line chicken and she gave me her honest opinion and then suggested something that was not on the menu but was doable. This was to take the chicken Alfredo, but rather use Cajun Alfredo. Amora was spot on! It was delicious! The portions were also huge, which surprised me. My friend had the chicken Caesar, which he said was good and the hamburger looked great. I just did not have it. My only reservation is the musty smell when you walk in. The restaurant appeared to be clean, but there was a strange musty odor as if it was a very old building not well kept. Amora should be commended for her outstanding knowledge of the menu, professionalism and friendliness! Thank you, Miller's ale house for Amora!!

Not sure how this meal went this wrong here. Showed up with a group of 10 for a friends birthday…read more While placing the drink order, I advised that I was going to need another pitcher to follow the first. The first pitcher was dry before the waitress asked if we needed another. The person whose birthday we were celebrating ordered their meal first and got their food last (by quite a bit, half of the party was done eating already). And when they brought his food out, it was the wrong order. He went up to let us know it was wrong (because our waitress was missing) . He could see his order in the counter, but was told that order was a mistake and he received the right thing. We had two orders at the same table with one very small difference (an ingredient missing on one) and the two were blatantly different. Between slow service, wrong orders, and no accountability this place seriously disappointed tonight. It's a shame, in my opinion they were one of the best wing spots in the area, but they have obviously let their quality control drop.

We stopped at Cheers Park Ave for lunch because we've only been here once previously for drinks…read more Anyone who knows anything about us knows we're passionate about music. So the first time we were here, the album cover paintings stood out to us. Of course I know all of them and love many of them but per usual, anywhere that features artwork for King of Pop Michael Jackson is immediately good in my book! I started with a Mocha Martini, which is basically adult chocolate milk and I am totally OK with that. For lunch, I ordered their Big 1/2 Burger w/ Fries because it's been a while since I've had a burger. The offer toppings but I'm a plain burger person, thus the photo with only cheese. It's a really solid burger with a great brioche bun. The fries were seasoned well but not super crispy so I didn't eat a lot of them. My wife ordered the BLT which should come as a shock to no one. I'm reasonably that anyone could look at the photo of the BLT and not need to read a review. She loved it. Her only mild critique was that she thought there was a bit too much tomato, but that's easy enough to dispense with so no biggie. I'm glad we ate here this time.

The establishment is right off of Blanding Blvd with lots of parking. Inside was well lit, spacious and most importantly clean. There were plenty of people inside playing pool but it didn't feel crowded because of the layout. Plenty of pool tables, I didn't count them but there are enough that I doubt anyone waited or even had to wait long to have a turn. We saw 4 electronic dart boards over in a corner and went right over no wait. The bar staff was friendly, attentive and quick. We ordered wings, fried pickles and loaded fries to eat. With sweet tea and the Friday special long island to dring. The food came out, what I would call, relatively quick for the number of people there on a Friday night. The food wasn't overly spectacular I would say it was ok. Expect Your typical bar food but the price was alright and it tasted good. To their credit we just went with typical choices as well so I wasn't expecting something extravagant. Overall: 4/5 - We will definitely be back.

Quiet for lunch hour, which honestly surprised me, but maybe folks are just trying to avoid the traffic mess around Youngerman and Blanding. I ordered the Florida Girl wings with fries, and my wife went with the Georgia Girl wings and broccoli. Lunch orders come with 10 solid wings and a side for a fair price, so I was already feeling good about it. Pickup was smooth... order was ready when I walked in. I saw the receipt stapled to the bag and figured everything was squared away. Should've checked it myself though, because when I got home, my fries didn't make the trip. The lady at the counter was super sweet, so no shade at her, but whoever bagged it probably could've confirmed the contents before tying it up. My wife's broccoli was in its own container, which in hindsight should've tipped me off that something was missing. Now, the wings themselves? Spot on. Cooked right, sauced and seasoned perfectly. I like being able to control the heat, and mine hit exactly where I wanted them. Traded one with the Mrs. and her Georgia Girl wings were sweet, saucy, and just as presentable as they looked. All in all, tasty wings, fair lunch deal, friendly service. Just wish my fries made it home.
