This is the second time I have used Call Dad for my HVAC issues and could not be more pleased. I called on a Sunday after lunch and the technician came that day around 4:30! Got my air fixed and running before we have the 90 degree heat wave this week. Jaylyn Bun was the technician who came and he was great. Call Dad installed a new HVAC system and performed electrical work as part of the project. The expectation was a 200-amp panel upgrade, but instead they initially installed a meter panel and left the existing panel unchanged. This was only corrected after I complained. We have now failed two inspections. The first failure was due to insufficient wiring. The second failure was due to loose connectors and because not all of the work performed was properly disclosed on the permit. The inspection failed again as a result. This has caused significant delays to our renovation, and we are now unable to submit another permit until these issues are resolved. Electrical work is a major part of an HVAC installation, and repeated inspection failures are a serious red flag. The crew also left construction debris and trash behind, further reflecting a lack of professionalism and attention to detail. Based on this experience, I strongly advise against using this company, especially for electrical work. Look elsewhere and save yourself the hassle of correcting substandard work. read more

If you want prompt service, give them a call. If you want your unit fixed, don't bother. We had our unit replaced in November. We were very happy with the speed of response and installation. That's where it stopped. We are now in our fourth call to have someone come out and "fix" our unit when it stopped working again. Additionally, we have never had a problem with condensation around our ducting or in our crawlspace before, ever. Since our work with them, we now do. I can not recommend this company due to the repeated times we've had to call them in less than a year. When the a/c went out again today, it is time to call someone else. Note: Still waiting for someone to reach out about this, but in the meantime, I've had to spend an additional $2000 to fix this problem. My review still stands. read more

My HVAC had quit - nothing to do but replace it. Contacted Call DAD because they were recommended by my natural gas company because they would install dual-fuel systems. I called and a salesman was scheduled immediately. Jut (Justin) Holcombe was introduced through s text and he arrived on time and sat with me to explain what was available and what might be the best option for me. He old me about the very positive things of Call Dad. Exceptional customer service, 10 year parts/labor warranty that is easily transferable if the home is sold. I received 4 other bid quotes from a variety of local HVAC dealers. After almost a week of researching and going over the quotes and warranty information I was so confused. Jut kept in contact with me and helped me with any questions I had. He was and has been very nice and helpful - available through his personal telephone number for texts or calls. And he has continued his support since installation. When I signed the contract and asked how long before the unit would be installed (I had been told with others that it could be 3 weeks)? Jut said it would be a turn key one - possibly day and a 1/2 install time. I signed the agreement and got an install confirmation email for the following day! Yesterday, Friday May 29th Cody and Lee arrived at 9 AM, started working immediately to remove the old system and put in my new one. By 2:45 Cody was finishing the thermostat and starting up the system. I was so happy to have AC again. The whole process after the carousel of quotes was completed, was seamless and quickly tended to by Call Dad. The supervisor is now scheduled for the walk through and inspection. So once that is through I hope to not need them again except for twice yearly tune-ups. For such a large investment I have found this company to be easy to work with. No high pressure sale tactics, and good customer service. I highly recommend them. I will write further reviews as I continue on with their services. read more

Switched from current provider, after I got tired of being fleeced. Had requested a routine maintenance of HVAC unit before summer kicks in, 2 AC units. The technician (Hadden) was on time, gave me a heads up, very professional & efficient. Very happy with the responsiveness (appointment with in a few days of phone call), with their excellent quality of customer service and a very reasonably priced annual maintenance plan. I inherited HVAC issues from the previous owner. After exhausting attempts for the past several years from the HVAC company I had been using, I finally decided to change providers and got in touch with Call Dad. I can't recommend this company enough. Instead of showing up and almost instantly giving an off the cuff answer, both Thomas and Travis checked everything thoroughly and found a common sense issue, which obviously had never even been noticed. The ductwork, which is located in my attic, was wide open in places, in the attic, and simply had to be reattached. The previous company kept saying it was a bad valve, year after year, and year after year it has been 77-80 in my house in the heat of summer. Everyone that has been at my house from Call Dad has been experts at what they do, as well as friendly, kind and respectful. Their pricing is also quite reasonable. read more

A/C went out and our service company said it would be 12 days before they could get to us. As it was 86 degrees in the house I contacted Call Dad and they were at our home the same day. Service was within the window promised, the tech was professional, knowledgable and friendly. Did a thorough repair, pointed out things that needed some care and was patient with our questions. Very satisfied with the work and signed up for their service plan. After hearing the local commercials I thought this was a small company and it is impressive how large and sophisticated they are. I was a little weary of the automated phone system but it got everything correct and was easy to use. read more

First technician came out and after poking around for a while told me the propane pressure was too low to keep my heat going.Called the propane company and they came out and said there was no problem with the propane pressure-they charged me 145 bucks for this.So you guys cost me 145 dollars.Then a second technician came out,told me some control board needed to be replaced and a couple of other parts-for 1700 dollars.Finally got another company out who figured out the problem-parts and labor 600 dollars. I think their technicians are inexperienced and /or trying to sell unneeded services. read more
