Marina was very nice and professional. Maybe some people walk through their doors with a chip on their shoulders! And maybe they don't even realize it. The whole ordeal of smog check experience is very stressful to begin with. Even worse if theirs cars needed repair. Their shop was cool, literally, about 75°. Plenty of seating and very clean. A pool table if someone wanted to rack'em up!They were so fast I didn't get through 2-3 emails while I waited. Thank you Marina and the staff at California Smog! I will be a repeat customer Steven M read more

My husband and I both like going there. They are welcoming and the service is quick. Definitely recommending.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! Young kids don't know anything cars at the end of the day.. smog your car somewhere else. This place is an absolute joke and disgrace. Should not be doing business in California. There mistakes and incompetence caused me a lot of issues . Took it somewhere else with no issues. No saben lo que están haciendo. STAY AWAY read more

I came here because they take the cap program and the lady at first was very nice and said she'd work with me. I later found out that she also takes the tune in and tune up program and I called and asked her about using both. Right away I got frustration from her telling me that she can use both but doesn't know how to use them together and that I need to call and get approved for the tune up one and find out for her how to use them together. So I did I called and got approval they said that since she is the business owner that she needs to call and ask. So I relayed the message to her and she got very upset she told me that I am the consumer and while she appreciates the business it's my job to figure that out. So I called back again and this time they sympathized with me and told me how to instruct her. So I called her back again which in turn made her very frustrated I told her how they explained it to me and who I talked too and she said that they would have to email her the instructions that that was the only way she would accept them. Meanwhile they also told her who to reach out too for the solution but she told me she was too busy that it's not her problem. Which I totally understand but your a business who accepts both programs who doesn't know how to use them? To me that makes no sense especially when she puts it on the customer who has no experience with the programs. You choose to have the program which is awesome you should know how to use both of them. Or at least be kind enough to explain to the customer who has never even heard about these programs. Marina was her name and she was extremely rude and unprofessional. They had a lot of good reviews which confused me until I went into the shop to pick up my car and I noticed some of the names on the wall for their certifications matched some of the names on the good reviews which is strange. I ended up taking my car elsewhere who takes both programs and knows how to use them together. If you look at more than the good reviews you'll see everyone else complains about marina. read more

Had to get our RV smog and they said $125.00 and they only charged me $95! This place is nice and clean and the people are great. I highly recommend this place. read more

I've brought my several of my vehicles to get smog over the years and had amazing customer service. But today, I can say for the first time I had horrible customer service. This lady is so rude. Don't recommend if she's here. read more

This is a family run, small business! Honest, Quick & friendly. I love this place so much, I send my company vehicles here!

wish i could leave a 0 review. honestly this place put me in a horrible state of mind when ige already been stressed about my car problems. The short older lady is rude and mouthy so that irritated me then i was receiving calls and would answer and it was a younger mechanic super rude also and pushy. I would recommend any place besides this establishmeny. They honestly don't deserve customers or people needing help with their car problems i feel like they are not genuine and truely would make more problems so they can get more money from their customers. read more

I should have read the reviews before going here. I brought my car to get a smog and the short lady that manages the desk was super rude and disrespectful. Never again will I return! Since I had to add a star I will do it for the tech that assisted. 0 for the grouchy lady. read more

I had just went through the clean air voucher program and choose this place since they were on the list of repair places. I checked Google and it looked okay. The lady at the front counter was as rude as can be when I asked her how the program worked. I'm not a smog person so how am I supposed to know how it works. I was told bring it in on Monday and they will pay me. That was how the program was explained to me. As I walking out I could hear her bad mouthing me to a customer that was waiting for their car. Whatever happened to good customer service. The mechanic work may be good, but I would not recommend this place because of the front counter person. read more

Please never take your vehicle to this shop we took our 1994 Ford Mustang for repairs. Not only where they not able to fix the repairs they charged $900 plus and the vehicle had no gas! We paid drove off about a few blocks and our car caught on fire!!!!!!! We returned to the shop the the lady blamed us saying we tampered with the vehicle after we paid $900! She didn't want to take no responsibility what so ever! Please please never take your car to this place for any repairs. read more

Owner is super rude, looked like all the workers were walking on eggshells, went in for a smog and the employees were nice but kept looking over there shoulders wondering where the little ruthless lady was and I asked the tech a question and she yelled at me telling not to bother them lol. I told her she might as well just tell me to shut up. Shop was super filthy didn't even want to sit no wonder why the shop was empty. read more

This place was not my choice to go to a dealer sent my car here. and this lady at the smog office was rude and started yelling at me and wouldn't let me talk I had to just hang up because she wouldn't stop yelling at me. Idk what kind of place this Is. BEWARE IF THIS PLACE! read more

They didn't end up being as bad as I thought they were at first, but their mistake caused me a lot of unnecessary work and they charged me twice as much as they should have. I would go back if absolutely necessary, but the guy at Mineral King Smog seems way nicer. read more

I've taken my cars here for years, probably had 20+ cars smogged here over the years. Today I took my truck in for a Smog check as I'm selling it. (We just had the same truck smogged here about 5 months ago). They get done and say it's not able to pass as the O2 parameters aren't built up enough. They ask if I had to jump start it or replace the battery recently and I said yes this morning. They charged me $42 for today, but were nice enough to say a retest would only be $35 and all I needed to do was take it for a pretty good drive. (You can get a $35 coupon on the internet for them, so they were cutting me a really great deal). I will never take another vehicle here again. I sure hope they appreciate that $42 instead of several more years service with them read more

Great place for a quick smog check. They're a star station too. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. They were very nice, and I received $10 off with a coupon. read more

Been goin here for years cause its close to my house n reasonable prices not the cheapest like the lady talks. My sensors weren't set cause i just cleared my engine light so they told me to drive it for 40 miles and come back so i did. When I get bak they say it worked they all set and I'm good , then after they smog it the lady charges me again saying I failed the first time. They never did it the first time and didnt say they were goin to charge me again wen i came back. Not kool never going back she lost a long time customer hope it was worth it lady. read more

I was in n out in 30 minutes. Verified on the spot to pay smog. I told them about their bad reviews and also made it clear to them that that wasn't my experience. Got the coupon online and paid $44 for a smog! Underrated and maybe misunderstood by others but im happy. read more

This place is a joke. Aris has no idea how to smog diesel tucks. Failed on a visual inspection without knowing the California regulations. I believe they are a fly by night smog center with no knowledge. His answer to failing the vehicle was to call another smog shop and decided by his word. Without being able to seeing the vehicle that it was a fail due to visual. Will never go to this place again. Highly recommended to stay away from this Rob shop read more

Definitely stay away from this place! Don't know what they are doing other than taking your money. Won't retest like everywhere else. Asked to talked to a manager on the phone, her reply is "what do you want?". Horrible customer service. She was almost unintelligible on the phone, but had no problem talking over any question I had anout their policy. Couldn't figure out if it was a language barrier issue or that she just didnt have a clue what she was talking anout. Turns out it was both. Wants to fail and recjarge every chance they can. read more

Not only did they misdiagnose my ac problem but charged me 500 dollars to "repair" it then when I took it back with the same problem they blamed it on something else and wanted to charge me "400-600 dollars" to fix that too. The guy is really and genuinely does seem to want to help it's the lady who is rude and aggressive and then made a rude comment about the situation in Spanish (which I am fluent in) avoid this place. read more

Do not take your car here. The lady in the front desk has a major attitude. All I needed was a copy of my print out and she made me wait for like 3 hours. I had to talk to the supervisor and it only took him like 5 minutes after she made me wait for like 3 hours. read more

I went there trying to save time because there was nobody waiting and the guy (owner) was to busy blabbing like a teenage girl and not smoging my car. It was not worth the $54.00. read more

Poor customer service. Not only did they say my car did not pass due to a sensor being tripped, but they were rude and unhelpful when asked where to take it to fix the issue. read more

Charged me for 2 smogs when my first one "failed" because it wasn't ready. The law says you can not test a car that is not ready. Drove around for 15 min came back and passed, with no problems but was still charged for both. Ridiculous. DO NOT COME HERE!!! read more

This is a great place to get your car's repair services and smog. My family and I have been bringing our cars for smog services for at least five plus years now. They have a coupon on their website you can print out or you can grab your local Thrifty Nickel and bring that coupon in. Today I needed more than just a smog test, my air condition in my car had gone out a couple months ago and I really didn't want to bring it into the dealer, so as I was paying for my smog, I asked if they repaired or fixed car air conditioning. They do :D and they did! Aris the mechanic (I believe that was his name) explained everything to me before and after and answered my million and one questions. The shop and the staff are very competent, very knowledgeable and efficient. You don't have to have an appointment either. You don't get that weird, uncomfortable feeling I've gotten from the dealership service centers in the past. They don't try and sell you things or aggressively recommend things. They are awesome and friendly :) read more

WOW! Never take your car here!!!!! These people are very dishonest. Unfortunately I read their reviews after I took my car in to get it smoged. I was quoted $45 on the receipt I signed (which I still have) they told me vehicle is clean but didn't pass because my monitors were not cleared yet due to a dead battery I had earlier. They said I had to clear the monitors before taking it back. The guy charged me partial price ($36) and said when I come back he would charge me the difference ($9) ok, sounds reasonable. When I took it back a short feisty woman was trying to charge me $35. When I reminded the man of our conversation in front of her he said "I never said that". The short feisty woman started raising her voice at me blaming me for the encounter I said "no worries I'll take my Bussiness else where". Paying extra money somewhere else is worth it knowing I'm not supporting dishonest people read more

In and out for a smog in about 15 minutes. Great customer service and offers excellent coupons!

This is my smog station going forward. I had a check engine light code for a catalytic convertor. The first place I went to said $1,200 to repair it. It was a dealer only item for a Honda. Took it California Smog for a second opinion and they cleared the code told me to buy some cataclean, add it to some 91 octane gas and bring it back after a tank. I did and I passed. No $1,200 repair bill. Thanks California Smog. You're the best. read more

Wow! That was quick and easy! Only $35 total. The staff was really friendly. Took about 15 minutes. And best of all - my car passed!

The lady was very nice and both times I went for us in and out in 15 min. I have already referred several other friends and family and they had the same experience!!! We will continue to use them for smog services! I'm sure they are great with their other services offered! read more
