DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON I was charged $45 for the worst (plain single color) manicure I've ever had. The paint job was terrible and ran into my skin on more than 5 nails, it was rushed, and is already wearing off after one week. I get manicures every two weeks, they skipped over half the steps usually taken in previous manicures. Not to mention the idea that I came in with was turned down (short French tip) when I've been getting short French tips for the last 4 months from cute nails. I will not be back to California nails. I asked for a read and black ombré half matte and glossy (first picture) and got plain red and black nails half matte and glossy instead (second and third pictures) and still got CHARGED $95 but when I called to set the appointment and ask how much it would be they said it'll be $35, the entire time I was there and she was doing my nails she was judging me and giving me dirty ass looks, she also cut me when filing my nails. went there today to get my acrylic nails removed and the lady doing the job was so rough and unprofessional, she literally ripped every nail off (she didn't used any electric nail drill, no acetone or any other method) she just ripped the acrylics off and the last one she ripped my actual nail too causing a bleeding, she did not apologize or tried to make it up I couldn't handle the pain so I left. I would not recommend this place very unprofessional. I will not be coming back. read more

I was very impressed with this place! My usual nail place was booked so I google searched and found California Nails. The massage chairs for pedicures are the best I've ever sat in (seriously, I want to bring one home with me) & the leg massage during the pedicure had a sea salt scrub, was long, and remarkably well done. I got a gel manicure as well & my tech did a fantastic job. It's only been a day, so I can't speak to the longevity of either my toe or nail polish, but they look great! The price was great! I paid for a pedi/gel mani what I usually pay for just a gel mani at my other place. The only draw back is there is no atmosphere there. If you're looking for a spa-like experience, (aside from the nice chairs) you're not going to get it. But for the product and the price, I'll definitely be back! read more

The first thing I got done was my pedicure and that was done amazingly, but then I got mine and my daughter's nails done they look ok however they got acrylic all over or hands they rushed through it the nails were done half assed. I will never go back to this place again. read more

Horrible customer service and horrible nail techs. I got a full set and less than 2 weeks later, all my nails were popping off. I went in to get a nail repaired and was told many different prices. Never did anyone offer to fix my nail at the price stated simply because my nails were "longer" and I was never told the price would change because of the length of my nails. I have been going to California Nails for the last 4 years. It's affordable and always looks nice. I almost always have Will do my nails but recently I had Lisa do them because Will was busy and I was in a rush and she did a FANTASTIC job. By far the best my nails have looked since I've been going there. The only downside to this place is the atmosphere is a little chaotic and loud. But if you don't mind the noise then it's definitely a good place to go. read more

I was recommended by a friend to come here. I like that it's cheaper but both times I got simple nail art it didn't look great. One time I got three lines on one nail and they were uneven and the next time I got a glitter fade on two nails and it turned out looking like a half painted nail. Where to start, if I could give less than one star, I would. This place is disgusting!!!!! The nail tech was nice to begin with, but then got nasty and rude. The water was way too hot, she started filing my toenails so short she was filing my skin, when she realized it she said oh sorry I should ask do you want me to take off all this skin? Then when she cut a piece of skin and that hurt, I didn't say anything, then she used the cheese grater looking thing and she cut my ankle!!! I told her to please stop the service and she was like no I didn't cut you, then apologized and yelled across the salon for someone to come finish the job, I said absolutely no thank you and she got in my face swearing. I asked for a towel and she said use the one right there...the one my wet feet and skin were on?? No thanks can I have a clean one? And when she brought it it was folded but not clean looking so I said well is the towel even clean? Then told them I'm calling the health dept. she was yelling at her kids the whole time, got up and when behind the door swearing at them, I can't even believe it. STILL! Their nail polish selection is so cheap, one girl was almost crying while doing a pedicure, I felt like I was on some sort of television show. This place should be closed down. Gross. read more

Bad service. Dirty. The ceiling tiles are even stained. The nail polish selection is cheap. The first woman did a good job on my toes. The second woman (who did my nails) was in a hurry, wasn't listening, and didn't understand me. I still have my old black nail polish in the nail crevices and when I asked to have them fixed, the owner told me no. He said it was black because the polish was under the acrylic and I needed a fill. Really?!? No, she didn't do a good job of removing all of my nail polish. Horrible customer service! They could have fixed it while I waited for my friend since there were workers available. I will never ever go back there. Gross is the word to describe that place. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. On their Website it says their price for a plain manicure is $13.00, I called and they told me $15.00 so I figured the price went up since their ad, which is comparable to what others charge. I didn't even have polish put on them, just the shaping and cuticles done. Then when I got home and looked at my receipt, they charged me $17.00!! I should have checked it out before I left the place..then I was stupid enough to give her a tip!! I was disappointed when I walked in, the place does not look clean, she actually used a clipper on me for the cuticles that had been used on other people without being cleaned, then proceeded to use the same ones on my sister who was with me that had hers done also. I will NEVER go back to this place and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND it to anyone. read more

Diamond in the Rough! This place is great. They have low prices, trained technicians, polite, and their product lasts! I've had gel nails for years, and have yet to find a fill that lasts as well as theirs. Terrific eye brow waxing! Their shop is not elegant, so of a minimal effort on decorating; but if you want a fill that lasts, and get your monies worth, go see California nails. read more
