I hear Julie is the best, but she is often very busy due a large request load. I got Tina, she is also very good. Tina takes her time and makes sure your nails are as perfect as possible. Definitely a perfectionist. She's quiet, so if you're looking for conversation, don't be offended if she doesn't talk much. I personally don't like to talk with my nail person since I want them to concentrate on my stuff lol, but that's just me. I will always make a request for Tina now. Only negative thing is the smell is pretty strong in there.

Services I have…read moreused include permanent hair removal electrolysis and an alternate sugaring technique that dates back to Cleopatra! I have been going there for 20 years for the professionalism and the technique. Sugaring hair removal is a gentle preference for maintaining smooth, hair-free, skin that lasts a long time. No hot wax or burning. My facial hair gets like a peach fuzz...UGH. Not attractive to me. Sugaring is my first choice for hair removal. The electrolysis is very good too for permanent removal. Vicki allows me to schedule in advance around my vacations or just to regularly maintain soft skin with privacy. The fees are reasonable in my opinion too. Thank you Vicki at Forever Free.

I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated at Michelle Nails by Danny, the owner\…read more About two weeks ago, my family and I were leaving for vacation, and I wanted a chrome color to match my vacation outfits\. Michelle Nails didn't have the chrome color I wanted, so I still went to Danny for my regular fill, but without a design\. After that, I went to another local nail salon that had the exact chrome color I was looking for\. As a customer, I believe I have the right to choose where I receive different services\. At my most recent appointment with Danny, the first thing he asked me was, "Why didn't you go to whoever did your chrome?" I was caught completely off guard\. I respectfully explained that I went elsewhere because he didn't have the color I wanted, and that I should be able to choose where I spend my money\. From that moment on, his attitude toward me changed\. I've been a loyal client for years\. I regularly pay between $150 and $180, plus a tip, for every appointment\. I also bring my own nail designs, many of which I've later seen recreated on other clients\. Despite how uncomfortable I felt during this appointment, I still paid the full $180 and left a tip because, as always, he does beautiful work\. After I paid, he told me that I could no longer come back and that this would be my last service with him\. He said I should go back to the salon that did my chrome\. I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and honestly discriminated against because I chose to get one part of my nail service somewhere else when he couldn't provide what I wanted\. No customer should be made to feel punished for spending their own money where they choose\. Has anyone else had a similar experience with Michelle Nails or Danny? I'd love to hear your thoughts\. I believe customers deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of where they choose to receive other services\. Not to mention a year or so ago he banned me for going to another nail salon for my pedicures\.

Not one or two.. all of them. They came off like press-ons. I paid $125 plus a $25 tip and called to ask about a refund. They offered to redo them, but refused a refund. I appreciate the offer, but I shouldn't have to come back and hope for a better result on a service that completely failed the first time. At that price point, it should have been done right and I don't want to waste multiple hours again. I've had acrylics many times and have never had this happen. On top of that, the salon was not the cleanest. I'd recommend looking elsewhere, somewhere that stands behind their work from the start.

This was the worst manicure I've ever had. I called specifically to clarify what kind of a shop…read morethis was. I directly asked them if they filed or use the drill onnatural nails to remove old shellac polish. They said no. When I got to the shop, wrapped nails to soak, pulled off soaking tin foil after less than 2 minutes, pulled out an old coarse file and start filing over the top of my nails, towards my nail bed!! ouch! I said please don't do that it hurts, she said it's the only way to remove shellac polish. Very dishonest!! I know better, allow them to soak, then chip and scraper off! Never, never, never file type of natural nails, could cause permanent damage and possible infection! Then they perform a dry manicure, what is that? They start to polish your nails! They do NOT trim your cuticles, push back your cuticles, clean underneath your nails, shape your nails, trim your cuticles or trim the torn up skin from filing your nails and tearing up the skin and cuticles around your nail, not even a little massage. The mail technician obviously had to get it done in under 20 minutes. The CND polish was thick and gooey with pieces of fabric fiber in it that the nail technician have had to keep digging out of my nails which only added more divots and bumps to the polish. I had to ask nail tech to file them into shape, as she was not going to file and shape the tips (love to file overbthe top though, very vigorous filing there). My nails are different shapes and uneven! In the photos you'll see the polish doesn't even come close to my cuticles, my new manicure looks like its a 2 will old manicure and needs to be redone soon due to nail growth!! I really should have gotten up and left, I don't know why I didn't. It was a waste of money time and my natural nails. My nail beds still burn, the nail bed s feel like they're literally on fire. Do not let these people touch you!
