Guillermo has outstanding customer service. I ordered half a pallet of sod, he let me pay for it over the phone through a text message. I think he called me a total of 3 times to make sure that everything was right on time. And it was. He recommended a certain type of grass and right now it looks beautiful in my back yard. Keep him on the payroll. Thank you CLS read more

This is my new afternoon break outing! Wander through their plant selections with a latte invigorates the creative part of my brain. It was near closing and I didn't realize it until I left as the staff were so welcoming and patient while they calculated all the plants I gathered. They even helped load them into my truck. read more

Called to get an estimate for rocks and was very surprised by their reasonable prices. We went in today to pick up quite a bit of rock, super friendly and pleasant people to work with. Turned out, the truck we had wasn't going to work, but they were able to deliver today. Awesome customer service, highly recommend this family business! read more

Needed some mulch for my front yard. Searched on line first then went there myself as I didn't know there were so many types to choose from. Salesperson was very helpful in making sure I was happy with my selection. Delivered the next morning to my driveway. Actually used them twice. Liked the way it looked in my front so ordered a couple more square yards for my backyard. Recommended to my neighbors and they were delighted with their product and service as well. read more

After learning that a neighbor had used this company , I thought I'd give them a try ! We needed some rock delivered for a project. I called and spoke to a very knowledgeable lady who was able to tell me exactly how many yards of rock I'd need, quoted a price, and set up delivery for the next morning! I was also able to pay for it online which was very convenient! The driver called early the next morning and let us know that he'd be arriving soon. He was prompt, professional and dumped the rock exactly where we needed it unloaded. Every aspect in dealing with this company was exceed I would highly recommend! read more

Had the opportunity to finally check out CA Landscape Supply. The guys were outstanding. Made it super easy for a not so experienced gal to come out to their yard, addressed all my needs fast and successful. In less than 30 minutes the guys gave me a little tour of their rock, flagstone and fire pit kits. Helped to square my yardage to a T, place my order and delivered my product at my convenience. They also let me prime into their special heart shaped stepping stones coming soon. Chad delivered my rock ahead of schedule just as needed! Such a great experience! Excited to start my next project with California landscape supply!! Thank you guys for your excellent customer service and making me feel welcomed! read more

We really cannot say enough good things about California Landscape Supply. A couple of failed attempts at having turf installed by contractors left us with mismatched turf colors/brands in our front yard. I reached out to California Landscape Supply and I was immediately connected with Kay. After explaining our situation, Kay went out of her way to find us a match to finish our project. Although unable to find an exact match she made great recommendations at an affordable price so that we could get our yard looking great again! The whole team there was very knowledgeable and I was even able to pick up a couple plants as well. I would recommend this business to any of my family and friends with landscape needs! read more

So, we went to multiple nurseries around the Modesto, riverbank and Oakdale area and were very disappointed with the service and selection. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I went expecting to have the same disappointing experience..but it was the complete opposite! Fist, we were greeted as soon as we pulled up. The staff is beyond warm, friendly and knowledgeable. We let them know what our back yard goal is and they provided us with everything we were looking for. We ended up getting way more than we were planning to for way less than we expected. I can't say how amazing the staff is. They delivered super fast and went out of their way to get us what we wanted. Also, the lady at the nursery was sooo patient and provided so many tips. I can honestly say it was an amazing experience and can't wait to go back! We are still in the process of finishing our back yard and I'm actually looking forward to visiting them again!! read more

Sooo... I revisited calif. Landscape. I went back to buy some plants for gifts for family that I will be visiting over the Fourth of July weekend. I was. Greeted with a smile by Sydney. When I went inside to pay for my purchase, there she was, Breanna( I hope that I spelled her name correctly.) The employee who I originally had forgotten her name. She greeted me with the same friendly greeting. I left with my gift plants in hand a happy customer. read more

I called and asked if they handled decomposed granite as I thought it would be nice for a large area I store my fifth wheel in. I gave them the dimensions of the area and asked how thick it should be installed. Ryan informed me I would need 42 yards at 3" thick. I then asked if they carried brown fine bark, and was very happy to find out I could do a one stop shop. Their price was very good and the delivery was first thing in the morning. The driver asked where to drop it and said he would take care of it. He quickly dumped the 7 yards of bark and asked if I needed anything else. The service was awesome. It's tough to find good knowledgeable people who actually perform. I highly recommend California Landscape supply for all of your landscaping needs. read more

I called BTY after finding them here on Yelp. I was looking for a cubic yard of pea gravel delivered. The receptionist took my information and very quickly Ryan called me back. Not only did he beat the competitors pricing per cubic yard, he gave me a deal on delivery as he already had a stop to make in Modesto. I ordered the yard and inside an hour, he was at my drive. Friendly, painless, and the exact right product. Very happy with my experience and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for landscape materials. Well done guys and thank you! :-) Jenn read more

I was debating on what type of rock I needed for my project. CLS helped me decide on the appropriate type and came out to measure to make sure I would have the correct amount. I came across CA landscape on CL. I was looking into purchasing a huge amount of DG(decomposed granite). I gave them a call and I spoke with Nick(the owner?) he was very professional, so helpful and very knowledgeable. Since I live in Danville which is 3 hrs away, RT I had to pay more on the delivery. However, Nicks price was still so much lower compared to our local landscape suppliers. Not only that, the customer service is like day and night. In Danville, because of the affluent neighborhood, this suppliers feels like they're doing me a favor. I ended up purchasing 2,100 sqft of sod too and not just the Special mixed in DG fr California Landscape Supply. Nicks was always checking on how the delivery was and always updating me on the time of deliveries. I just wish that they're much closer to me so I can just purchase fr them. Now, my gardener wants to order fr him too. I highly recommend them. Try them, you won't go wrong! read more

This place has the best customer service! I got Belgard pavers from them and their personal attention was just great (Thank you Ryan). They take the time to help and to explain to you about stone pavers or products they sell, they also delivered all my pavers on time as scheduled (Driver was very professional also). I highly recommend this business for any landscaping or hardscape project. 10 stars to them!!! read more

Great concept, mixed concrete at your job site, not water floating on a mass of sand-gravel-cement. Also the ability to clean the mixer at the point of origin with no charge is a great option as alot of homeowners do not have an area for this mess. Good group of fellas to work with and the optional services are an added plus. read more

Went to California Landscape supply to explore their nursery and get some plants for the backyard. Their staff was extremely professional, respectful, helpful and seemed very costumer oriented.
