Beware. This is automobile service store AutoSense. They just changed the name or got a new yelp…read moreaccount. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but I was about to have them install and ignition interlock device in my car and looked up their Yelp reviews before I sealed the deal. A worker or maybe the owner had been texting me a couple days after I initially called them about a quote. I wasn't in a rush and they seemed a little too eager being that they're texting me on a personal cellphone. I was ready today and asked what was the name and address of their business. They gave me their address which is this one here 1650 N Glassell St Orange, CA 92867, but said the name of the store was quick stop interlock. Not Autosense, OCAutosense, or IID Interlock Services(which is what they just had it changed to on Yelp). I found them on Yelp and read many negative reviews on their unreliability, unprofessional-ism, and negligence to their customers which cost their customers more in the end with both money and hassle because of suspended licenses as a result of their bad service. If you want to get your license back and be in good standing with the courts, you're going to want to deal with a company that provides reliable IID interlock services. Oh and after i politely texted back the employee/owner that I was not going to go with their services anymore because of negative Yelp reviews, they went on a spamming rampage of passive aggressive texts. Endless texts telling me about other companies and how I should go with them. Then sends texts such as, "don't waste time with joker," and "block out spammer." Oh and after he finally stops texting me, which I maturely responded "ok thanks" to each one of them, I try searching for their business again on yelp and the profile is nowhere to be found. But rest assured OC Autosense is now ^IID Interlock Services. Look, I get you're trying to run a business, but I got first hand experience of your customer service. I understand why others had such a negative experience with you. Just try and be more professional and improve your services guys. Quality over quantity will win in the end.

I used Interlock Service Specialist 6 years ago. I'm not sure who I dealt with in the office, it's…read morebeen so long and he was not memorable. It was a complete nightmare! Warning: do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The court said I had to keep my interlock for 18 months which was the maximum term. When the interlock first came out, it was in testing phase but evidently, the terms are much shorter today. In any case, I kept telling the technician that the interlock doesn't work but he insisted that I had to blow into the mouthpiece harder. He was never in the office, he was always late, and he had a poor attitude. After a year and 3 months, the interlock broke and he put on a new one. That's when I found out that it was defective! I struggled to start my car for one year and 3 months because he didn't care to check and give me an interlock that works.

During our experience with Interlock Service Specialists in 2012, the owner Sean was consistently…read morelate, did not return phone calls and felt that he was doing us a favor simply by showing up. There were countless times when calibration appointments had to be rescheduled and we never received a phone call from him that he was cancelling or going to be extremely late. We waited in the lobby numerous times for hours only to be told he wasn't going to make it (after trying endlessly to reach him by phone which he didn't answer until we kept calling). In general just an owner with a poor attitude looking to do the minimum possible without having the ability to admit that he should have better customer service. There was a time when I questioned his lateness and he physically attempted to intimidate me when I asked him why he didn't call us to tell us he was going to be late (after waiting almost 2 hours). We had things to do but he could care less. Not only that, but instead of taking constructive criticism like a man, he resorted to threatening gestures (standing up over me, grandstanding, puffing the chest, attempting to intimidate). I would highly recommend that you go to a place that actually wants your business. In the case of Interlock Service Specialist, they are the type of people that smile at first to get you in the door, then provide crappy service when you just want to get calibrated. Go elsewhere for your safety's sake as the owner has a short fuse and let's his ego get in the way of just running a decent business. His website says professional and courteous service but our experience was the exact opposite. I would say this, in our last calibration visit there was another guy who was helping us that day and he was 10,000 percent better than our experiences with Sean. He called us when he was going to be late, apologetic upon arrival. It's not that hard to be a good human being Sean. Be on time. Call if you're late. Apologize when you're wrong. Quit grandstanding just because you have an inflated ego. It's not hard dude. You're not Suge Knight. Be humble and helpful and you will succeed. Keep pushing your chest out and one day you're going to find a mountain bigger than you that pushes back. Your business may grow and you may make some money, but until you learn how to treat people right, you'll never be a true definition of a man. You know this to be true, otherwise you wouldn't have been so upset that day when I called you on your B.S.

Hopefully, I won't have to be back too often , but if I do, I know exactly where I'm going. Not only did they find the problem with my Jeep, but honestly, it drives better than it did the first day I bought it. I might be exaggerating a little, but truly, I'm so happy with the work! The communication was fast, clear, and extremely helpful. Their diagnostic report was also 10/10. They clearly categorized the recommended repairs by priority, so I knew what needed attention right away and what could wait. Most importantly, I never felt like they were trying to upsell me or recommend unnecessary work. The pricing was very reasonable, and I completely understand that quality work comes with a cost.
