It was a difficult decision when his primary care doctor suggested that we start home hospice. Though, once we signed up with Premium Hospice, they supported us not just with their twice weekly nurse visits, bath aide visits and 24/7 availability by phone, but I no longer had to struggle alone. There were times when nurses came to our home in the late hours of the evening to care for my husband, or when I received advice about various situations with the night nurse in the wee hours of the morning. They came more frequently if the situation required their attention. I was appreciative of the responsiveness of the Premium Hospice team when I had questions (and I had many, many questions!). The nurses who came to our home were always patient with me, and they were extremely professional, gentle and kind in their interactions with my husband. The staff not only cared for my husband, but for me as well. Even now, since my husband has passed, they still reach out to me to see how they can help me. The hospice volunteers contributed as well to keep our spirits up in a very trying time. Special thanks to Kristle, Lindsay, Lucy, Francis, Liezl, Ray, Jimmy, Carie and so many more who all contributed to the special care given to my husband for about 10 months. Would I recommend Premium Hospice to others in the devastating situation of having a loved one in the last stages of life? Absolutely. Funny how one thinks - half a bottle of ensure a day is too much food, she barely weighs 60lbs. Then she came back with another excuse, So lame it made no sense, I couldn't even tell you...The garbage excuses she was attempting to feed me was exhausting. I had to ask her if she was discriminating against my mom. I gave her all the facts, What she took away from our conversation was nothing of what I said. Shortly after her second denial, I spoke with my referral friends. They had mentioned Crystal is the problem, And referred me to another person higher up in the company to speak with. I was told, They just didn't have enough staffing. Then why not just say we can't take on any new patients at this time. The lies and excuses are extremely unprofessional. I am a long standing member of the Norwalk community of which you operate business in. I would never recommend this company to anyone. My experience with Crystal was mentally exhausting. I urge you to carefully consider this before contracting with any hospice provider. Unfortunately, our experience with Faith & Hope made an already painful situation even harder. In April 2025, my mom suffered a massive stroke. She was placed under Continuous Care (CC), which meant she required critical, around-the-clock nursing support. We were told her case would be re-evaluated after three days. However, the care was stopped in less than 24 hours and we were given only 4 hours' notice that services would be discontinued. At that point, it was clear our needs no longer aligned with Faith & Hope's philosophy of care. We scrambled to hire private help on extremely short notice. That night, my mom was in significant pain & experienced agitation. She needed her medication adjusted and an increase of the dosage frequency to help manage her symptoms. The next day, we made final attempts to Faith & Hope to reassess mom's eligibility for CC, even though the on-call night nurse, when we asked, did acknowledge that we were free to seek another hospice provider. We waited all day for a response from Faith & Hope, but heard nothing. Faced with another evening without adequate care, we transferred my mom to a different hospice. They gave us the right care without hesitation. Sadly, our mom passed away only 4 days later. The only positive experience we had with Faith & Hope was with Nurse Theresa. She cared for my mom with compassion, dedication and a true commitment to patient advocacy. Theresa's thoughtfulness and support helped guide my brothers and me through an incredibly challenging time, and for that we are deeply grateful.

As the POA I banned their visitation there. And I was very happy to see how well the staff went above and beyond to keep the vultures away at my request. They pampered my dad in every way possible. This was a very good experience having my dad there. I highly recommend this place. I read a few of the negative reviews on this page and they don't even make sense. A lot of the things that are said are not even close to true. For example, the claim that nobody speaks English there is false. Some of the names of staff that are mentioned in bad reviews, are just not there. I know because I spent a lot of time there visiting with my dad and pretty much got to know all of the staff.
