It was a difficult decision when his primary care doctor suggested that we start home hospice. Though, once we signed up with Premium Hospice, they supported us not just with their twice weekly nurse visits, bath aide visits and 24/7 availability by phone, but I no longer had to struggle alone. There were times when nurses came to our home in the late hours of the evening to care for my husband, or when I received advice about various situations with the night nurse in the wee hours of the morning. They came more frequently if the situation required their attention. I was appreciative of the responsiveness of the Premium Hospice team when I had questions (and I had many, many questions!). The nurses who came to our home were always patient with me, and they were extremely professional, gentle and kind in their interactions with my husband. The staff not only cared for my husband, but for me as well. Even now, since my husband has passed, they still reach out to me to see how they can help me. The hospice volunteers contributed as well to keep our spirits up in a very trying time. Special thanks to Kristle, Lindsay, Lucy, Francis, Liezl, Ray, Jimmy, Carie and so many more who all contributed to the special care given to my husband for about 10 months. I urge you to carefully consider this before contracting with any hospice provider. Unfortunately, our experience with Faith & Hope made an already painful situation even harder. In April 2025, my mom suffered a massive stroke. She was placed under Continuous Care (CC), which meant she required critical, around-the-clock nursing support. We were told her case would be re-evaluated after three days. However, the care was stopped in less than 24 hours and we were given only 4 hours' notice that services would be discontinued. At that point, it was clear our needs no longer aligned with Faith & Hope's philosophy of care. We scrambled to hire private help on extremely short notice. That night, my mom was in significant pain & experienced agitation. She needed her medication adjusted and an increase of the dosage frequency to help manage her symptoms. The next day, we made final attempts to Faith & Hope to reassess mom's eligibility for CC, even though the on-call night nurse, when we asked, did acknowledge that we were free to seek another hospice provider. We waited all day for a response from Faith & Hope, but heard nothing. Faced with another evening without adequate care, we transferred my mom to a different hospice. They gave us the right care without hesitation. Sadly, our mom passed away only 4 days later. The only positive experience we had with Faith & Hope was with Nurse Theresa. She cared for my mom with compassion, dedication and a true commitment to patient advocacy. Theresa's thoughtfulness and support helped guide my brothers and me through an incredibly challenging time, and for that we are deeply grateful.

I paid $1200 out of pocket, only to find out that the wheelchair was far too large for my mom's small frame. Their referral would not exchange the wheelchair for a smaller size, nor would they refund any of my money for a wheelchair my mom was unable to use. I was stuck with the entire bill of $1200 and they provided no financial assistance whatsoever I ended up donating the wheelchair to the nursing facility. The worst experience of all occurred the day my mom passed away. They delivered my mother's body to the wrong crematorium, which was located approximately 30 minutes from the correct funeral home. lNever received an apology, nor did I receive a call or a single response from them, despite my countless attempts to contact them by phone, email and text.
