As illness continued to take away many of my husband's abilities, I became his 24/7 caregiver for…read moreseveral years. I wanted the best for my husband as he navigated this final journey in his life. I hoped that he would not need to go to a skilled nursing facility, and that I would have the emotional strength as well as the physical strength to take care of my husband even as he became bed bound. It was a difficult decision when his primary care doctor suggested that we start home hospice. Though, once we signed up with Premium Hospice, they supported us not just with their twice weekly nurse visits, bath aide visits and 24/7 availability by phone, but I no longer had to struggle alone. There were times when nurses came to our home in the late hours of the evening to care for my husband, or when I received advice about various situations with the night nurse in the wee hours of the morning. They came more frequently if the situation required their attention. I was appreciative of the responsiveness of the Premium Hospice team when I had questions (and I had many, many questions!). The nurses who came to our home were always patient with me, and they were extremely professional, gentle and kind in their interactions with my husband. The staff not only cared for my husband, but for me as well. Even now, since my husband has passed, they still reach out to me to see how they can help me. The hospice volunteers contributed as well to keep our spirits up in a very trying time. Special thanks to Kristle, Lindsay, Lucy, Francis, Liezl, Ray, Jimmy, Carie and so many more who all contributed to the special care given to my husband for about 10 months. Would I recommend Premium Hospice to others in the devastating situation of having a loved one in the last stages of life? Absolutely. Words like caring, compassionate, helpful don't even begin to describe the excellent care that Premium Hospice gave to my husband. I was blessed not only to be able to care for my husband at home during his final months, but also to have such an amazing team from Premium Hospice to provide exceptional support.

Hospice should ease the burden for both the person who is dying and their family; not make things…read moremore difficult. I urge you to carefully consider this before contracting with any hospice provider. Unfortunately, our experience with Faith & Hope made an already painful situation even harder. In April 2025, my mom suffered a massive stroke. She was placed under Continuous Care (CC), which meant she required critical, around-the-clock nursing support. We were told her case would be re-evaluated after three days. However, the care was stopped in less than 24 hours and we were given only 4 hours' notice that services would be discontinued. At that point, it was clear our needs no longer aligned with Faith & Hope's philosophy of care. We scrambled to hire private help on extremely short notice. That night, my mom was in significant pain & experienced agitation. She needed her medication adjusted and an increase of the dosage frequency to help manage her symptoms. The next day, we made final attempts to Faith & Hope to reassess mom's eligibility for CC, even though the on-call night nurse, when we asked, did acknowledge that we were free to seek another hospice provider. We waited all day for a response from Faith & Hope, but heard nothing. Faced with another evening without adequate care, we transferred my mom to a different hospice. They gave us the right care without hesitation. Sadly, our mom passed away only 4 days later. The only positive experience we had with Faith & Hope was with Nurse Theresa. She cared for my mom with compassion, dedication and a true commitment to patient advocacy. Theresa's thoughtfulness and support helped guide my brothers and me through an incredibly challenging time, and for that we are deeply grateful.

TERRIBLE & TRAUMATIZING EXPERIENCE , Would not provide a suitable wheelchair for my mom, but they…read morereferred me to a person they recommended. I paid $1200 out of pocket, only to find out that the wheelchair was far too large for my mom's small frame. Their referral would not exchange the wheelchair for a smaller size, nor would they refund any of my money for a wheelchair my mom was unable to use. I was stuck with the entire bill of $1200 and they provided no financial assistance whatsoever I ended up donating the wheelchair to the nursing facility. The worst experience of all occurred the day my mom passed away. They delivered my mother's body to the wrong crematorium, which was located approximately 30 minutes from the correct funeral home. lNever received an apology, nor did I receive a call or a single response from them, despite my countless attempts to contact them by phone, email and text. Horrific experience!!! I wish I could give them ZERO stars

Forever Grateful to Healing Care Hospice for the Care They Gave My Dad…read more I don't even know where to begin in expressing the depth of my gratitude for Healing Care Hospice and their incredible team. When my dad's health began to decline and we were told it was time for hospice, my family was heartbroken and scared. We didn't know what to expect, and we wanted to make sure he would be surrounded by love, comfort, and dignity. From the very first moment Healing Care Hospice stepped in, we felt an enormous sense of peace. The nurses who cared for my dad were absolute angels. They treated him like he was their own family -- always gentle, patient, and respectful. They explained everything to us with compassion and honesty, making sure we understood what was happening every step of the way. It never felt rushed or routine; it felt deeply personal. Even during the hardest moments, their calm presence and kindness made such a difference. The aides and caregivers were just as amazing. They made sure my dad was clean, comfortable, and pain-free. They noticed the little things -- fixing his blanket, massaging his hands, talking softly to him when he couldn't respond -- small gestures that spoke volumes about their compassion. The social worker and chaplain also brought so much comfort, not just to my dad but to our entire family. They gave us emotional support, listened when we needed to talk, and helped us process everything we were feeling. It meant the world to have people who didn't just focus on medical care but truly cared for the human and spiritual side of what we were going through. One thing that stood out was the way the team communicated. They were always available -- day or night -- and made sure we never felt alone. Whether it was a question about medication, a sudden change in my dad's condition, or just needing reassurance, someone was always there to help with warmth and patience. When my dad passed, the hospice team was with us, guiding us gently through those final moments with compassion and respect. They handled everything with such grace, giving us space to say goodbye in peace. Even after, they checked in on us to see how we were doing, which meant so much. I can honestly say Healing Care Hospice helped my dad transition with comfort and dignity, and helped our family find peace in an incredibly painful time. They weren't just caregivers -- they became part of our family during those last weeks. To everyone at Healing Care Hospice: thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made an unbearable time a little easier, and you gave my dad the care and love he deserved. We will never forget what you did for us. If anyone reading this is searching for hospice care for a loved one, I can say with complete confidence that Healing Care Hospice is the kind of team you want by your side. They bring heart, compassion, and genuine humanity to every moment.

The last 8 years Nurses Plus provided services for a few elderly into our facility. They were very professional, kind , compassionate, patience, always took the time to assist the patients and never refused and service, supply or equipment necessary for the patient. When time came to choose a Hospice provider for my own father I knew exactly who am going to pick! I was so impressed with Dr. Steward, the hospice doctor with a big heart, who carefully assessed every situation, explained the treatment, comfort care and talked directly with me and my father. RN Lidia was very knowledgeable, caring, always willing to go the extra mile. Home health Aid Carlota was gentle, attentive, patience and supportive. Nurse Edwin show so much respect, he did respond quick to calls or text and never forgot to ask if we need anything. They become like family to us. Yes, I had the experience in carrying for hospice patients but when it comes to caring for family members is a lot different. Lidia not only cared for my father, she also made sure I'm ok and poured her heart in all she did for our best interest. Daisy, from the office was extremely helpful and great comunicator. Social worker Sherl was wonderful, made sure all was taking care of and all my father needs were met. After dad's passing Lidia came and took care of all arrangements needed at that time. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I could tell they are a great team, working together and they have a good relationship. I will definitely recommend this company !
