The care is awesome and the therapy i received was the best from not walking to having confidence in walking with a walker and rotator .

If I ever had a concern or issue, the front office staff (Denise Ortega) and Debra (social worker) were very responsive and helpful; I have so much appreciation for them! The nurses tended to him on a regular basis by changing his sheets and cleaning his room, giving him sponge baths, changing his diapers, and changing his clothes that I left hanging in his closet. The nurses who had a positive impact on my father were Molina, Monse, Cristina, and a male nurse from Jordan who trimmed my dad's beard. When my dad was discharged, he missed them all so much! The nursing staff gave him medicine on time and Dr. Sharma did a good job of monitoring his symptoms and labs. My dad loves food and not once did he complain about their food, so that was telling for me! The cafeteria staff were always friendly. The physical and occupational therapists were friendly, supportive, and positive with my father; thank you, Claire, Araceli, and Carlos! They were very helpful to him gaining some of his strength back. They had a kitchen, bathroom, and a car in their PT/OT space that allowed my father to practice doing certain things when he returned home.

Premium Hospice - Decorated for Christmas 2015

I wanted the best for my husband as he navigated this final journey in his life. I hoped that he would not need to go to a skilled nursing facility, and that I would have the emotional strength as well as the physical strength to take care of my husband even as he became bed bound. It was a difficult decision when his primary care doctor suggested that we start home hospice. Though, once we signed up with Premium Hospice, they supported us not just with their twice weekly nurse visits, bath aide visits and 24/7 availability by phone, but I no longer had to struggle alone. There were times when nurses came to our home in the late hours of the evening to care for my husband, or when I received advice about various situations with the night nurse in the wee hours of the morning. They came more frequently if the situation required their attention. I was appreciative of the responsiveness of the Premium Hospice team when I had questions (and I had many, many questions!). The nurses who came to our home were always patient with me, and they were extremely professional, gentle and kind in their interactions with my husband. The staff not only cared for my husband, but for me as well. Even now, since my husband has passed, they still reach out to me to see how they can help me. The hospice volunteers contributed as well to keep our spirits up in a very trying time. Special thanks to Kristle, Lindsay, Lucy, Francis, Liezl, Ray, Jimmy, Carie and so many more who all contributed to the special care given to my husband for about 10 months. Would I recommend Premium Hospice to others in the devastating situation of having a loved one in the last stages of life? Absolutely. Words like caring, compassionate, helpful don't even begin to describe the excellent care that Premium Hospice gave to my husband. I was blessed not only to be able to care for my husband at home during his final months, but also to have such an amazing team from Premium Hospice to provide exceptional support.
