If I ever had a concern or issue, the front office staff (Denise Ortega) and Debra (social worker) were very responsive and helpful; I have so much appreciation for them! The nurses tended to him on a regular basis by changing his sheets and cleaning his room, giving him sponge baths, changing his diapers, and changing his clothes that I left hanging in his closet. The nurses who had a positive impact on my father were Molina, Monse, Cristina, and a male nurse from Jordan who trimmed my dad's beard. When my dad was discharged, he missed them all so much! The nursing staff gave him medicine on time and Dr. Sharma did a good job of monitoring his symptoms and labs. My dad loves food and not once did he complain about their food, so that was telling for me! The cafeteria staff were always friendly. The physical and occupational therapists were friendly, supportive, and positive with my father; thank you, Claire, Araceli, and Carlos! They were very helpful to him gaining some of his strength back. They had a kitchen, bathroom, and a car in their PT/OT space that allowed my father to practice doing certain things when he returned home.

My brother was here 3 weeks recently and overall we had a very good experience. Like all, I think they are alittle understaffed, but did their best. Here are some things we liked - -It was fairly easy to talk with our case mgr Michelle, and overall she was very helpful and supportive. -Loved their PT staff. -They answer the phones, so you can actually get a live person almost every time -It was very clean and cheerful. Some SNFs are really worn down and depressing, this one was not. -They had nice outdoors areas if you wanted to go outside, and the times we were there, we always found a parking spot. Like all SNFs, hospitals, etc I highly recommend family come and support whoever is in there. I found that helped alot as he was there a few days and they did not realize he had hearing aids that had to be charged, he had a cell phone, he needed bigger food portions, etc. Since he wasn't doing well, he needed family to advocate. There were small things like I wish the TV in his room could tilt or pull out since he barely could see it at the angle and how far it was, and he seemed to always be hungry. He needed some medical things done (ie 5 large bladder stones removed) but neither the SNF or hospital would do it, so maybe neither could, but it was very frustrating.

From the administrative staff to the nurses, therapists, and caregivers, every single person went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable, safe, and supported. The admin team was always organized, communicative, and compassionate they made the entire admission and care coordination process smooth and stress-free. The nurses and CNAs treated my aunt with such kindness and dignity, always attentive to her needs and quick to offer a smile or comforting words. The rehab and therapy staff were equally amazing, helping her regain strength and independence while encouraging her every step of the way. You can truly tell that everyone here cares deeply about their patients' recovery and well-being. The facility was always clean, the atmosphere positive, and the staff made sure family members were kept informed and involved. We're incredibly grateful for the professionalism, warmth, and dedication shown throughout her entire stay. Cerritos Vista truly sets the standard for quality care in Bellflower we highly recommend them to any family seeking a place where their loved one will be treated with compassion and respect.
