I have to give credit, where credit is due. 1st off, I was with AT&T Wireless for almost 27 years…read more I love and trusted my AT&T service, however, their current rates drove me to search for another, more affordable, trustworthy provider. I have XFinity home WiFi and absolutely love it. Their promotions for mobile service and equipment have always been attractive to me, as well as XFinity Mobile is powered by the Verizon network. So, I finally did it & moved to XFinity mobile today (2 lines of service). Little bit of a misunderstand regarding the costs of service and equipment at the store today due to new promos rolling out today, however, we were able to sort it out. Excellent customer service today! Overall, my new cell service and iPhones are great and the price is fantastic! Recommendation: *Check, then recheck their 'current running promotions and offers' on their website before going to the store to be sure. *Sign into the XFinity website when you get home, and double check the sale and agreement; it's e-mailed to you right away. Downside: *Getting in touch with a live XFinity customer service agent at (888) 799-3747 can be challenging & a bit frustrating. *The online chat feature is functional, but driven by A.I., but will connect you to a live chat agent when requested.

I even have one of their relay towers within 500 feet of my home, and in the beginning the service was decent. Over time, however, the connection slowed significantly. When I called customer service, they upgraded me at no extra cost, but only after I asked. I found it frustrating that they don't automatically extend available upgrades to loyal customers. Their policy seemed to be that you have to complain or ask before they offer improvements--even if your service is struggling. That didn't make sense to me from a customer service standpoint. In the past year, the issues have gotten worse. Video meetings often cut out or force me to turn off my camera because of poor connection speed. I've spent countless hours troubleshooting and calling customer support, but nothing has resolved the problem. I finally tested a new internet option and was shocked at the difference: four times the speed at half the cost. When I called to cancel Unwired, they didn't even try to keep me as a customer--they simply admitted their product wasn't the best available and let me go. My advice: Before signing up with Unwired, research other options. It doesn't take long to find better internet service at a much better price.

Very Very Disappointed with DISH - Love the cable service…read moreitself! 4-5 Stars on cable service but hate the customer service and policy. 1 STAR ON Customer Service. Took hours ... called 2X and was on phone for hours. I can't believe DISH charges you a monthly lease for their equipment but when their equipment goes out YOU the consumer have to pay for them to come out and change the equipment. They won't send you the equipment to replace but you have to pay $100 for a technician to come out to tell you the equipment is bad. Mind you the equipment that they give or you lease from them is REFURBISHED!! NOT NEW!! Dish has made its money on the equipment but want to continue to charge you for them coming out. However you can get a service plan for $9.99 a month which you can purchase for a no fee technician. AGAIN Why should I have to pay for your faulty equipment? I'm already leasing the equipment. augh!!! this is totally wrong! I can see charging me a technician fee if it was my fault but this was YOUR Equipment. The wireless joey access point worked the night before DISH did the every night reset. So we got the tech out today and he had to change the equipment because he too after 2 hours couldn't get it to work. He replaced the wireless access point with ...get this a NEW REFURBISHED equipment but could not guarantee that this access point won't go out all he could say is it is working right now. Now I'm stuck in a 2 year contract 1 year and 4 months to go. Mind you the equipment only lasted 8 months. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH DISH CUSTOMER SERVICE. I THINK THEY ARE WRONG. You want to save money then go pick up your equipment that is left on all those houses that cancel your service. - Very upset customer. - Very upset customer - Oh yes the customer service did agree to reduce the tech fee to $47.50 but its not the money - if you leasing your equipment you shouldn't get charged to have it swapped out.
