He gave me a quote which was a bit high to me because the tree trunks were about 1.5ft in diameter. He sent out a gentleman to see the job in person and we were able to agree on a lesser price. I think I really got lucky finding these guys because I wouldn't have reached out directly amongst all the other companies but I put the job request out there and I was really impressed with Serafin and his assessment of the tree (which I did a lot of homework about) and made recommendations to ensure the health of this Coast Live Oak tree which is not only a keystone species, but protected. They also ground two stumps, hauled away the leafy waste and mulched all the wood for me in a neat pile on my driveway.
