Insurance company sent my car here and they did a horrible job. The door is still dented but they painted it and stand behind the work. I am still fighting with the insurance company but I definitely would not let these guys touch any of my vehicles again. read more

Had the best experience here. 3 years ago I had to get my bumper replaced, I'd gone to a Geico shop in Roseville. They apparently didn't do it correctly didn't prime the bumper and the paint was peeling off. I called Geico and they sent me to San Pablo Auto Body. I worked with Darius. Her was so good, got my bumper painted, it's beautiful now, and the whole experience was really easy. read more

I was involved in a hit-and-run so having to find a reliable body shop and get it fixed was overwhelming. However, the owner was rude and kept insisting that I give him my insurance information when I initially said I will pay out of pocket if the price was right. After incessantly asking for my insurance information, he gave me an estimate that seemed unreasonable but I decided to proceed anyway since I really needed my car fixed. His staff/receptionist wasn't friendly whatsoever. Would not recommend this place!! read more

I am extremely satisfied with David's work on my car! He repaired my Lexus IS and left it like new. I appreciate his attention to detail, honesty, & professionalism. Him & his staff were also very helpful with the insurance claim process. Everything was resolved in a timely manner and they even helped with finding me a rental. I would HIGHLY recommend his services. read more

These days, who treats you like a person rather than at ATM? San Pablo Auto Body is wonderful!!! They repaired my Hyundai Accent bumper (hanging off the tabs due to poor design) as a courtesy. WHO DOES THAT? Of course I'll be taking any body work to them forever...and telling everyone I know. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!! Thank you San Pablo Auto Body for restoring my faith in body shops (and a bit in humanity too). read more

After reading a few Auto Body places and their Yelp reviews, I decided to go to San Pablo Auto Body. Once again Yelpers really help me with these decisions and I can't thank my fellow Yelpers enough.:) David, the production manager, was easy to talk to and explained things so I knew what would happen with my insurance and car. They also did extra things that were above and beyond which surprised me and made me feel like I had found a real gem of a place! I highly recommend this place for the excellent customer service and quality workmanship! read more

I just moved in the area, and didn't know any shops around. I was recommended to come to this location. One of the best auto body shops hands down, the staff there managed to get my vehicle fixed from collision damage that took place a couple weeks back. I would definitely recommend it. And also washed up my vehicle. Marcus, thank you once again for everything. You were very patient, you waited up for me until I was off work. You are absolutely the best. Take care read more

This shop was assigned to me by my insurance agency and I must say I was very happy about the services provided. I was assisted by a lad named Darius and he was very informative and helpful. Follow up and updated was very effectively done. Impressed! read more

I created a Yelp account specifically to write about San Pablo Autobody because I myself have trusted fellow yelpers, and I hope to save some from the unpleasant experience that I have had in dealing with this body shop. I had an unfortunate accident on a Friday morning that caused my car to be towed to this location. It was extremely difficult to find since, it's a good distance away from the freeway, and all these obsecure turns, so anyone not familiar with the area might have trouble. Plus when I called to just to make sure I was going the right way, no one there seemed to know the area either. They said my car would be ready 6 days later. Thursday. I call them Wednesday. Nope - tomorrow. I call them Thrus. Nope - tomorrow. I call them Friday. Nope - Monday. I call them on Monday. - Nope Tuesday. I call them Tuesday - nope still waiting for the same part that you promised me was on the truck LAST THURSDAY. So now, I'm approaching two weeks getting the runaround from people working there about why they are waiting, and their reasons do not match up with the estimate. If this happens a lot with a specific vendor, then wouldn't common sense tell you to work it into the time estimate? On top of all this, I'm the one that has to keep calling you to see if my car is ready? Doesn't seem like customer service is in their best interest. read more

I have been through my fair share of body shops, and this is one of the best if not the best place that Ive had the pleasure of doing business with. Not only is the work top notch., their prices are very reasonable. If you don't want to pay an arm and a leg....but want really professional work, this is the place to go. It doesn't matter if you are going thru insurance to fix an accident, or want just want some body work done on your own, you should definitely consider this place. Alot of people will tell you there's always a trade-off between customer service, price, and quality, and that you can't have all 3 at the same time, but let me tell you, this place is the closest thing you will get to having it all. The owner, Dave is genuine and nice to the extent where I felt like I was working with a close family member. Thanks for painting my bumper and lip kit, AND for the tour of your shop AND for sending me my bill when i forgot it on your desk AND for giving me those free clips for my car. :D read more

I wish I can give more than 5 stars. Excellent service, workmanship and genuine interest to help. I just got my bumper fixed today - didn't want to replace the whole bumper (and risk my insurance premium going up) and wanted my flapping bumper to be bolted down. I called yesterday and Dave understood exactly what I wanted done. So, he was telling me how to do it myself over the phone. I asked for the cost for them to do it - quoted 1/2 hour work at $39. So, I took my car in and also asked them to fix a dent in the bumper. All for 1 hour work for $79 and my flapping and dented bumper suddenly looks like nothing ever happened. He offered a free car wash. When I asked him about other services, he also informed me that there will be specials in April and to bring the car in during then for wheel alignment ($40) and AC services. The whole staff there was nice and professional. Their waiting room was clean, stocked with magazine (for everyone including some kids books). Dave evened brewed coffee and offered me. read more

This is the best place to take your car for bodywork. I had taken my Mercedes to a place in San Francisco and got one estimate. The person getting my car fixed (who rear ended me) wanted me to get a second estimate. I was reluctant, but wanted to be reasonable. I really didn't want just any old shop messing with my Benz. David met me at the appointed time and was very professional. Shop is immaculate. Within three days, right on schedule my car was ready and looking good as new. Best part was it was 20% less expensive than the place in the City. Super friendly staff, too. They provided transport to the local Enterprise rental place, too. Don't hesitate, this is a first class place. read more

These guys are BEYOND amazing! My car was hit and the mirror broke off, the car was scratched up and dented and my wheels and brakes were off. My car was with them for about... a week and a half I believe? Well, when I saw it today, I was so happy! It looked absolutely brand new! They did such a great job on it and cleaned the inside of my (very messy) car!! I did not expect them to do that and was extremely surprised and giddy. Along with doing a fantastic job on my car, they are also super nice and very professional. If anything happens to my car again, I am definitely coming back here! Definitely recommend them! read more

David and Olivia were extremely friendly, swift, and helpful. They even washed my car for free! I had a warranty repair via GEICO (catalytic converter replacement; car runs great now) and they fixed it up much faster than I thought was possible (I had a 1-2 week quote from other mechanics, but they fixed it within a couple days). Would definitely recommend anyone to come by here, they take great care of their customers and do excellent work. read more

I've dealt with a few auto body shops in the past but this by far has been my favorite to work with. Darius specifically was super helpful. From day one he was up front and made things so easy. Through Darius I received updates on how my car was coming along during the whole process. The work was even completed before expected. The day my car was ready for pick up I had my two year old twin daughters and I was worried about how I would manage getting both heavy car seats plus the girls to the shop. I was accommodated amazingly and even picked up in my own car. I would choose this shop every time but hopefully I don't have to see them ever again lol. read more

Darius and the team at San Pablo auto body went above and beyond to take care of my family car!! They do excellent work and are extremely responsive and accommodating. Like all small businesses they are dealing with supply chain issues but found a way to get my car fixed and back on the road as soon as possible. They will be my go to auto body shop from now on!! If you have an accident don't take the recommendation of your insurance company tell them you want your car repaired at San Pablo Auto Body. You'll be glad you did. read more

Another long overdue review. I was referred by AUTO POINT in Richmond for a radiator mounting. The staff and owner/manager at SAN PABLO AUTO BODY provide EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, are HONEST, and their rates are REASONABLE. I'd had other quotes for the work and this was by far the most reasonable price, fortunately, I didn't have to sacrifice quality of work. What's more, they weren't trying to pad my bill w/ unnecessary work: another auto shop had recommended work that the owner/manager frankly told me I didn't need. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. There's water, hot beverages, and chocolate. I even got a courtesy ride home because they needed to order some parts. I hope to not have to return again for body work, but if I do, I'll definitely return. read more

I am writing my review, and have yet to see my auto, as I know, my Acura CL will be as fresh, and clean as one would expect a professional, and quality driven auto body shop to produce after an accident; I was rear ended with approx $2,700 worth of damage. David's professional, and friendly manner were evident from the start, Nick was pleasant, and fun to talk to, and the office and shop are clean, and organized. After I provided David with the insurance paperwork, and informed him I was selecting his shop to complete my repairs, David processed the paperwork, and then I was whisked off to the local Enterprise for my car rental, because David didn't want me to have to wait on Enterprise. I have received 3-4 automated status pic updates from the body shop, over 4 days which is an awesome way technology assists businesses today in keeping the customer informed of the progress.David also was able to contact a local paint-less dent repair vendor to work on a fender I had a few indentations in, another great service! I was referred by Nationwide insurance Company, and am thankful to the manner in which NW handled the claim, and to San Pablo Auto Body for being so good at their respective profession, and their excellent service. I came into this place to get my rear bumper fixed after a little fender bender and they did an amazing job on it! My rear number also had some other scratches on it as well and they fixed that up as well, free of charge! Everything was simple and easy to get my car in there and get it fixed. The staff was very professional and it was extremely easy to talk to them about what needs to be done. You can tell that they really do care about the people who are coming in to get their cars worked on. Hopefully I don't have to come in to get anything fixed but if I have to, I'm definitely coming back. I would rate this place more than 5 stars if I could for going above and beyond for my car read more

My car was hit while parked and GEICO sent me to San Pablo Auto Body. I'm very glad they did. Everyone there was very helpful and friendly. After my car was towed, I realized I hadn't gotten my FasTrak transponder out of the car. They welcomed me in to retrieve what I needed even though it was close to closing, and took the time to survey the damage with me, and even pointed out damage I hadn't noticed. They kept me up to date with the progress of repair via both text and phone calls. The repairs were well done and the car was detailed and beautiful when I came to pick it up. They also arranged to return my rental car so I could just leave it with them. Their repairs are guaranteed for the life of my ownership of the car. They are an excellent business! read more

I drive a '08 Honda Accord and, unfortunately, on Christmas Day of 2015, I got rear-ended at a drive-thru...may I add...and my father had referred me to this place to get my rear bumper fix. Of course, my insurance took care of the paperwork and all that "fun" stuff. Also, San Pablo Auto Body location isn't too far from where I live so brownie points for me! But let me just say...David and his team did such an AMAZING job on my car that my bumper looks brand new again! I'm very happy with their work and it only took a day to fix. I got my car back the next day due to the fact, that the damages weren't too severe. Thank goodness for that! I would totally recommend this place to anyone that needs to get their car fix from damages in a car accident or have dings and dents on their car or even a paint job. David and his team will take care of you and does a great job; your car will look brand new again! read more
