My car was hit by reckless drivers on two separate occasions and unfortunately needed repairs done. I went through my insurance which recommended Caliber Collision. The Dagget St location was closest to my home. Immediately, I was greeted by a super nice receptionist (I don't know her name, but she's super sweet!) and she assigned Alex as my service advisor. Alex was thorough, good-humored and knowledgeable. From the get-go, I felt taken care of. My car was dropped off with an ETA of 20-30 days for repairs to be completed because of the extent of the damage on both sides. I got regular service updates along the way. At least once every couple of days I was informed of the status. My car was ready well before the original given date. It was sparkling clean AND thoroughly repaired. When I dropped off my 21017 Blue Hyundai Elantra, I was a little confused where to park. Two of the employees were awesome and showed me where to go. The office manager was professional and personable. Elvie (Sorry for the misspelling) was great and drove me to Enterprise to pick up my rental car. Elvie then brought my car to me in University City because I couldn't leave my wheelchair-bound mother home alone. Josh and his employees did a great job on my car and it looks fantastic. Jose Ramirez, my service writer, was in charge of my repairs. He did a thorough job and did as much as he could to keep the cost of the repairs as low as possible for me. He was available EVERY time I called and needed to talk to him. Caliber Collision collaborated with the Enterprise where I got my rental car and their connection with them allowed me to just leave my rental car with them when the repairs were done. The manager, Tony, first greeted me and did a brief assessment of my car and was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the repairs and even insurance issues. Christina worked at the front desk and made me feel very welcome! I came to this location to get my 2020 Kia Forte repaired from an accident. Todd Phelps was the one who worked on my car and was very helpful throughout the process. He kept me updated throughout the steps of the repair and of any additional news about my vehicle that was not previously stated at the drop off. Everyone there was very transparent and helpful with any questions asked. My turn around time for my car from drop off and pickup was around 2 weeks, sooner than I expected, but obviously that varies with every car. Overall, my experience there was very good! Came here to get my car repaired and I'm more than happy with the job they did. What this place has going for them is their customer service, and if any of you have seen any of my reviews than customer service is absolutely important to me. I appreciated that their communication with me was consistent. I got messages every day letting me know the status of my car. Most places car shops just let you know when your car is ready or if they need to charge you more extra work. They don't communicate anything else with you the entire time. Additionally, like i mentioned, the work they did was amazing. But I'd also like to say that they did some extra cosmetic work on other areas of my car that they didn't need to do, nor did I even ask them to look at it or give me an estimate on how much it would cost to fix it. They just ended up doing it. And they did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this place for anyone that has collision repair needs. read more

Awesome end to an awful experience! Upon getting hit on my way to work, Geico set me up with a same-day appointment with Caliber Collision only 2 hours after the accident. Not only were the employees extremely courteous, they ensured the process was quick and efficient. I left in less than half an hour! My 2015 Camaro SS was damaged when I was rear ended in I-5 Southbound. I took my car to this branch on September 12, 2022. The rear bumper was pushed in. The rear trim and body panel was bent. Due to the collision, the impact bar, absorbers and support hardwares suffered substantial damages. Mr Todd Phelps did a phenomenal job restoring my car to its original form. I highly recommend you ask for him specifically when you visit this location. Hands down, the best representative I have ever dealt with when it comes to car issues. I came in after an accident after being referred by AAA. There were other people waiting in the lobby area picking up and dropping off their vehicles. I didn't have an appointment but was helped right away. Alex Acosta came out and took pictures of my car and said they could get me right in. I dropped my car off the next day and throughout the repair process he kept me up to date with the timeline. Amazing service, communication and quality!! Highly recommend working with Ben!! Having teenagers, I've spent my share of time at the body shop. A couple weeks ago, I had someone rear end me while I was sitting at a stop light. Not much damage, just messed up my bumper some. The insurance company gave me a couple options but said Caliber was one of the shops they worked with. I was fine with this so they arranged an appt for me to take my car in. I got there and even though I was early, Ben took me in right away. Nice and easy check in, he looked over the car and the area of damage. The rental car company was supposed to pick me up but Ben recommended they drop me off since the shuttle can take a while. Told me they'd drop me off and for me to just swing back and get anything out of my car that I needed. (Great advice as they rental shuttle would have been around an hour I found out) Every morning I received a text message from Ben letting me know the status of my car, letting me know next steps. I responded to a couple of them and he responded within a few minutes answering my questions. A week later, I went by to pick up my car. It looked better then I expected and matched the car perfectly. Ben went over everything with me and did touch ups cleaning a couple spots on the front of the car so my car looked amazing front to back. Leaving a two star review right now because I feel really slighted :( someone reversed into my car, and I took it to this shop to get repairs done. My car had a large dent in the front passenger side bumper, scuffed passenger headlights that got pushed in, and the panel behind the headlights got pushed up because of the headlights getting pushed in. In the initial inspection, Jose was really thorough and pointed out various things that were affected by the accident, including how the panel behind the headlight got pushed up due to the headlight getting pushed in; he even took pictures of that. I trusted that I was in really good hands and wouldn't get cheated out of good service to get my car back to how it was. I was told that my car was ready after 2 days (which was a lot faster than the 7-10 day estimate; I was so excited at that but in hindsight I should've been more cautious about it). I went to go get it, and I think my eyes were blinded by how the big dent was gone and how shiny the headlights looked! I took the car home, but then realized that there were marks on the both headlights that did not get buffed out, and the panel behind the headlight was still pushed up, which means they did not pull out the headlight to its original position nor did they take the time to fix that panel. I'm am majorly disappointed, as this looks like it's going to be a headache for me to try to get fixed as I need to contend with insurance again. The customer service part was really nice and professional, so I'm hoping this can be resolved with minimal hassle, but it feels like they did the most minimal work to to try to get rid of my car, and I encourage everyone to really really inspect your car before taking it back. read more

After my car was hit in the grocery store parking lot USAA insurance gave me a list of places near by. Unfortunately, it was a very long day and I just wanted the car fixed or else I would have done some research. I know that USAA is very easy to work with and I assumed they only partnered with reputable collision centers. Upon arrival the kid behind the counter was very nice. He had me fill out some paperwork and said the adjuster would be out shortly. A man came out, shook my hand and ran outside. I tried to tell him about the collision and he just ignored me. He walked around my car taking pictures of every other dent and scrape I had. I personally was not aware how many little scratches my car had! I was not happy that he didn't pop the hood and check for any interior damage or to see how the hood was cocked to the side. I asked for a quote to repair some small dents on the passenger side of the vehicle. I said I would like to have that repaired at the same time and pay out of pocket for it. I received a call the next day with a quote to repair the hood and front bumper. There was no mention of the other repairs I would pay for but I thought maybe I'd follow up when I picked it up. By the way, I never knew my adjusters name until Grant left me a message. I got a call 2 business days later that my car was ready so I went and picked it up. Grant was on lunch so someone else showed me the repairs and sent me on my way. I drove the car home and noticed the hood lifting on the driver side. I thought maybe I was over sensitive since I knew what it looked like prior the repair but it was confirmed when my wife drove it to work on the 805 the next day. The hood lifted so much that she was actually nervous. Side note: my wife's hobby is restoring and repairing cars. She is extremely knowledgable with all vehicles. I called immediately to bring it back in. The hours are listed on their site that they open early so I called at 7:30 and told the woman what happened. She was mortified and said someone would probably come to get the car from my wife at work, repair it and bring it back to her. She said the manager would call me back in 20 minutes of so. 2+ hours later I called back and the manager said "oh, I was just getting ready to call you..." Yeah sure, I totally believe that! He told me the hood probably isn't latched so he could fix it in less than 10 minutes... do you really freaking think that we didn't try that?? So my wife brought it back after work. Taking side roads there as not to have the freaking hood fly off causing an accident! When she arrived the manager came out and walked right past her and out to the car. Didn't say a word to her! He called out one of the shop employees and they opened and closed the hood about 7 times before they decided we were right and the driver side was missing a tiny piece securing it in place. After reading other reviews here, I am so happy that I didn't pay a cent out of pocket to this place! I called USAA and informed them of this interaction. While I know that one complaint wont change their partnership with Caliber, I know that I am certainly not the only complaint based other reviews. Save yourself the time and hassle and go somewhere else. Note to management: Close the door to the waiting room from the break room or the garage or something. No reason why I need to hear cursing, burping or screaming while waiting for a professional adjuster. read more
