Brad went beyond what should be expected by informing me of a fire that was about to blow (totally unrelated to my accident). Everything was fine at first, they kept me informed with the progress on my car and repaired within a reasonable time frame. However, when inspecting the car at pickup, I noticed what looked like several rock dings on the hood. I asked what had happened and was told they were there when I brought the car in. I brought my car in with two dings on the hood. I know this because prior to taking it in, I had noticed these two and had already ordered a paint pen to cover them. So however the additional ones got there it happened while my car was at their shop. This is my first and last time using this shop and I will not recommend to anyone. read more

My experience with caliber was beyond what I expected. After seeing the damage that someone caused by side swiping me I thought there was no way my Tahoe would ever look and feel the same again. Took my SUV to Calliber on the recommendation of a friend. Robert handled my service and was amazing! I got daily updates. When I got notice of the date it would be ready, I called him and explained that I had a serious surgery coming up and asked if they could have it ready a day sooner. Getting into a car accident, is one of the most inconvenient things I've dealt with, in my adult life. But this place has so far, made it was easier to deal with. I called to make an appointment and spoke with Deniva. She was super nice and helpful over the phone. When I walked in Andy stood up from her desk to greet me with a smile. A few mins later, Mike walked out handed me his business card and introduced himself, held the door open for me and we walked out to check out the damage. He took photos, asked me if I was ok, and told me he would email my quote. We walked around the car and circled any previous dings, scratches etc. so there is no confusion when I pick it up. Mike was super nice, and answered all my questions, all while explaining the process in detail to me. I'm not worried at all about the care/repair or my car while in their custody. Hubby got into a little wreck... so he took our car to Caliber Collision, as he has used them in the past and was satisfied with their service, and they have a lifetime warranty on the work. We picked the car up today. Unfortunately we found two paint drips on the front (where the car was damaged from the wreck) and the back of the car had a scrape down it like it was backed into something. As far as we know, that was not there when we took it in. Caliber took photos before they started working on the car but it was too dusty to tell if it was there already or not. Instead of arguing with us, since it could not be proven either way, James of Caliber said they would take care of the back bumper as well as fix the paint drips. Now THAT is some awesome customer service! AND a lesson to us (and yelpers!) to take pics of a car all around BEFORE it goes to the shop! That may have been there, and it may not have, and there was no way to prove it! Lucky for us Caliber Collision was professional and chose to make the customer happy. In that they gained two lifelong customers and we will always recommend them! In addition, the lady at the front desk and the one who came out to inspect the car with us were very nice. They can do decent work but you will pay twice as much as places nearby. I had a scrape on my door, got an estimate around $1100. I took it to Express Auto Body and they fixed it and detailed my car for $510. The customer service at Caliber is slow and pales in comparison to Express Auto Body. I made the mistake of going here after a wreck and they got paint drip all over my seat belt. If you have to choice, avoid this place. read more

I made an appointment to "drop off" my car. The entire process took amost 2 hours. I was told I would be in and out and would not miss my 10:00 meeting at work. There was another guy at the shop that had been fed the same bs apparently. He was sitting there with me, tapping his toe, watching the clock and realizing he too would be missing his morning meeting. The shop contacted me 30 minutes before closing to let me know my car was ready ( I asked that they give me as much notice as possible as my commute from my office is almost an hour in traffic). When I went to pick it up the following morning they charged me an additional day for a car rental and there were bubbles all over my finish. Would NOT recommend this shop to anyone. The automotive manager was helpful but the Geico representative needs help. Terrible customer service. read more

If you have custom or after market parts on your vehicle that are damaged, don't take it here. (i.e. Aftermarket Headlights, Grille, etc.) They referred me out to "Excellence body and paint" - on Clark st. - and so far they seem to be taking care of me. I'll write up a review on my experience at Excellence as soon as I get my vehicle back. Hopefully this review will save someone a trip and a wait (I waited almost an hour to be told that I was 'out of luck'). I rated them low because they couldn't do something as simple as acquire parts from online suppliers to replace my damaged ones even though my insurance is paying for the repairs. This review/rating in no way reflects the quality of work in this shop, as my car was not worked on by them, at all. It is solely based upon the poor business practices implemented by the company. read more

My car was smashed in the drivers front quarter panel and drivers side door on Memorial Day weekend, just before the storms. I don't live in Texas and had to do business regarding this via long distance. USAA recommended Caliber so the wrecking company took my car over. My car was extensively damaged on the body, drivers side, but the motor, drive train, the sensors, the air bags...none of that was damaged. Caliber was very unsympathetic in their communications with me. They refused to tell me if the car was repairable and told me that there would be no one in Texas who would be willing to fix the car. I had the car towed elsewhere, and the people at the other automotive shop held my hand through the process. The upshot is that I WILL have a salvage title, but I will also still have a drivable car. But that is no thanks to Caliber. Update: A guy from Caliber did call me after I posted my review. I appreciate the thought, though I couldn't talk to him (I was in the movies at the time). I also talked to a friend who saw my car about an hour after it was towed to the other automotive center that agreed to help me with my car. My accident occurred just before the big flood and rain in Austin/Houston. He said that, even though I told Caliber that I intended to have the car fixed, they did not secure the vehicle. One star because there is no option for ZERO! There was a dispute over some scratches on my new Nissan Leaf, and they were left off the work that was done for a collision. The agent never inquired if the scratches were part of the accident; he decided on his own they were not--not exactly the way to do business, it just shows how customers are treated at the store, and is symptomatic of an arrogance that comes from general success. After my son attempted to get some help from Caliber to fix the problem (and I do admit Caliber was under no legal obligation to help us out), the MANAGER of the shop, a Mr. White, suggested that we put a BUMPER STICKER over the scratches. A bumper sticker; this from someone whose whole business is based on fixing problems, not covering them up. We will fix this at home here, eventually, just by doing the proper research, but we will NOT be investing in "Hillary 2016" bumper stickers, even though we will vote for Hillary or any other Dem who runs. A bumper sticker is forever, and no prospective used car buyer wants a bumper sticker that you picked out! I would definitely choose another location next time, even another Caliber. I had my car fixed here last week. Frank was the person who inspected my car for the estimate. It took less than 15 minutes. I was waited on at the register by a very nice lady who offered me a water. I was told it would take 3 days to repair and it did. Right on time. Frank actually called me after taking off the bumper to confirm with me that no further damage was found. They called the rental car place who picked me up after leaving my car here to fix. They stayed open for me because I was running late to pick up my car. They stand by their word and the workmanship was great. Highly recommend this place to fix your vehicle. read more

I used to hate the thought of going to a body shop. I feared the inevitable miss-matched parts and paint, being charged too much, and having the repair fall. Then, I went to Caliber. What a difference. The people don't tall down to you. The rates are affordable. The work is as close to perfect as I could imagine, and everything they do is guaranteed for as long as you own your car. In twenty years, they have worked on two vettes, a Jag, an F-150, Uplander mini van (had to chop and replace the roof) and others I can't recall. There is nothing I wouldn't trust them to do. read more

I had a terrible experience with Caliber Collision. We used them because they were recommended by USAA Insurance, but I recommend everyone to go elsewhere. After quoting us to be finished in one week, it took over two to complete replacement of both driver's side doors. When I went to pick up the vehicle upon completion (I only knew it was ready because I called for updates. They did not keep me informed.), the work was very poorly done. They had glued plastic pieces back together rather than replacing them, which is what was covered and promised. When I showed the manager, he offered to have someone sand it down to look nicer. Once I demanded the work be done properly and replaced they complied. The night I drove my vehicle home, we realized that my brake lights and turn signal had been swapped. So, the next day, I had to return again for them to correct the mistake. 12 months later, and I'm still having problems. My door locks automatically now, which it didn't before, which means it locks my keys in the car even if they are in the ignition with the car running! Please go somewhere else. read more

And what I got was rude people who barely took the time to help me. I had an appointment at 1:30 and apparently two other people did as well. When I arrived it was a ghost town. I told the front desk clerk that I had an appointment and it took someone almost 20 minutes to get up off their behind to look at my car. After looking at it for 3 minutes, telling me I was crazy, he sent me on my way. I took it elsewhere and actually found a friendly person who gave me a real estimate. Also, the damage to my car was on the undercarriage... And they don't have a lift at this location. Sure would have been nice to know before I showed up there and wasted my time!!! If you want to see the underside of your car, go elsewhere. Maybe Round Rock Collision. Yelp them instead, avoid this place. read more

I was in a car accident, and my car was more damaged than I originally thought. My brother in law used this particular location and his car is in beautiful condition. While it took a while, they had to get the parts in, Caliber collision call and told us it would be longer. The workers allowed me to go to my car to grab a few items and even showed me where some of the damage was done. They didn't not have to take the time to explain it but it meant a lot to me (since I'm curious) The customer service there is impeccable and the work they did on my car is immaculate. I cannot even tell where the car was damaged. Upon arrival they offered to wash my car down - I declined. My car was just as shinny on the outside and they even vacuumed the car out! I have even seen a few workers outside of their jobs and they are just as friendly as if they were in store. If I ever have to get my car fixed again, I will be coming here. Quite a while back my vehicle was damaged twice within 6 months by hail. PDR (paintless dent repair) was done both times and was a process that had just recently become popular. Prior to having the damage fixed the second time, I was told there were a few dents that it was likely they might not be able to repair by PDR. When I picked the vehicle up I was informed that they managed to repair all of the hail damage with PDR. However, there were a few dents that they had to spend more time on. Since then I have had issues with the clear coat and paint. I've had various body shops look at the vehicle and was told that if the clear coat/paint was compromised in any way it would create the problem I am having because fracturing can occur using the PDR process. This problem with PDR is the main reason car dealerships sell their hail damaged vehicles "as is". Because they know there can be problems in the future when using this process. Because there was suppose to be a LIFETIME WARRANTY for as long as you own the vehicle on the work this place does, it was taken in for them to see. And, to make a long story short, their LIFETIME WARRANTY is BS. They will pass the buck by whatever means they can think of to avoid taking responsibility for backing up that LIFETIME WARRANTY!!!!! read more

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT COME HERE TO GET YOUR CAR REPAIRED HERE!!! So I took my car in after a wreck they said it was complete when I got my car my bumper was falling off so I had to take it into another caliber since I was out if town they told me it was just a clip so they ordered the part and repaired it. By the time I drove it home the bumper was coming off turns out the bumper they put on was broken. Turns out used parts were used in my car and I was not made aware of that. They told me they were ordering a new bumper for my car and it would come in Thursday. Well Thursday came around 4:30 & no call received I called and they gave me the run around I decided to drive over to shop and they told me it wasn't in in the morning then when they checked again it just so happend to be in. I left the car to get fixed they called me the next day saying it was ready. I decided to drive my rental to the shop before turning it in and thank goodness I did because I arrived and my car was parked out in front my taillight was scratched and cracked with water inside! I was absolutely livid!!! They tried to accuse me of it being there when the back was never damaged! The MIKE THE REGIONAL MANAGER yelled and argued with me made me cry with no pity. It has just been an overall horrible experience! Go to the caliber behind this one I totally wish I did! read more

I gave them two stars only because they did such a good job with a previous car of mine. I had a 2005 RSX Type-S a few years ago that had a smashed front end and they did a great job fixing it to look new again. If you need collision damage fixed, this place is pretty solid. This is why I chose them to fix my hail damage. I will forever regret that decision. Do NOT go here for hail damage or if you care about getting updates on your car during repairs. I had many small dents all over my car from hail but I was told it may be done in one day. I didn't expect it but it would have been nice. About an hour before they closed on day 1, nobody called me so I called them. It wasn't ready they said. No big deal. About an hour before they closed on day 2, nobody called so I called them. I was told it still wasn't done. Still no big deal at that point. Day 3, I called in the middle of the day. They said it might be ready later. At this point, I decided to drive over and see what the issue was. When I pulled up to their shop, I was very surprised to see my car sitting in their parking lot, clean and with the dents fixed. Then when I walked up to the car I noticed a broken sun visor sitting on my dash. I went inside and they said it wasn't ready because they were waiting on a part. This is when I informed them that I had seen the broken visor and then they confirmed that they had broken something. THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN NO BIG DEAL IF SOMEBODY WOULD HAVE JUST CALLED TO TELL ME THAT FROM THE BEGINNING! Once again, I went home hoping it would be done the next day. Day 4, I went to take my car home in the middle of the day because the part had still not been received. I had just pulled out of the lot when the part came in. Good news to me as I was ready for this to be over. At this point, the manager was dealing with me. He attempted to put the new visor in place but was unable to because a metal bracket on the roof was bent. This meant they had to pull down my headliner again to fix it. They fixed the bracket, put on the visor and gave back my car. As soon as I sat down in the car, I noticed large creases in one corner of my headliner where a technician had hastily ripped down my headliner. The manager, to his credit, apologized and set me up with an interior specialist to try and fix it. The interior specialist did a great job attempting to repair it but the creases are still visible. To make matters worse, I have noticed one dent on the roof that was missed, the metal around where dents were repaired is visibly warped when viewed in a garage and there are strange swirling scratches on one side of my car. In conclusion, I think the manager James was great, the receptionist was great, the original person handling my car's repairs, Adam, has terrible communication skills, the paintless dent repair was sub-par and whoever rushed to pull down my headliner ruined it. Took my truck into the Mays ave location in Round rock,TX to have a bumber put on after a collision. The bumber rusted out in 3 months. Then I had a new one put on and you guys parked my truck where it got overspray all over it. They had to have it for 2-3 days extra and clean it totally from top to bottom. I wasnt treated very well and never even received an apology for the rusty bumber or the overspray. This is inexcusable. Im going to go out of my way to refer ppl away from you. and will start a massive campaign to review you poorly and make sure people know what to expect. in fact your company acted like I was a problem and said it should come off with an uncaring attitude when it first happened. I guess its common there to do this to ppl I should have sued its a 30,000 vehicle. I guess I should have taken it to a quality repair shop.
