Frank took care of my car for me and it's like nothing ever happened! My little Scion tC was hit by a Semi Truck and the rear bumper and side panel had a lot of damage. He replaced all those parts and my rim and tire and put on a new coat of paint and my car is looking better than ever! The receptionist was very helpful too, long brunette hair! Where do I start? Every step of the process with Caliber Collision was just horrible! My brand new 2021 Nissan got hit in the front bumper by a chunk of wood on the freeway 7/20. My insurance company recommended Caliber Collision as a preferred shop. After 2 months of poor communication between Caliber and my insurance, I was finally able to get the okay to drop my car off on 9/14. I informed Jackie, "my assigned service adviser" that it's a brand new lease and that Nissan requires OEM parts if anything needed to be replaced. Jackie said absolutely not a problem, That it's a brand new car and it will get brand new OEM Nissan parts. I asked approximately how long will it take to fix my car. I was told I would get an estimated completion date within 1-2 days. 11 days later, I am informed that my car is ready for pickup. Yes, It took 11 days for a tiny dent! But wait, there's more. 9/24 I get notification my car is completed. I go to pick up my car, 20 minutes to get paperwork ready, Pay $250 deductible, I start looking over the bill. My original estimate was $1,500, Now all of a sudden it's $4,000. I asked what changed. I was told they had to replace both headlight assemblies, that the mounting tabs were broke off. Upon further reading on the repair bill, I notice LKQ next to the headlights, which mean that the headlights are used. So what happened to brand new OEM parts ??? I was never informed about any changes or additional parts. So Jackie pulls my car to the front, as I'm 20 feet away, I clearly see the front bumper is not installed correctly. There is a 1 inch gap between the bumper and lower headlight on the passenger side. There is also a nice new scratch on the lower portion of the bumper from careless reassembly. Jackie tells me to go back and get my rental car. What a joke. I've already paid 11 ridiculous days for the rental car. I told her that I would make transportation arrangements for work that day, and I can give her 2 additional days to fix their mistakes as I was going on my 2 days off. Well, so much for the two days. It's now 4 days later, my car is supposed to be done again. I call Jackie and tell her I need it by 4pm for work. She said she would check to see if that is possible and would get right back to me. Jackie finally called me back that day at 5:30pm and said my car is ready to be picked up. I'm already at work. Hello... Unbelievable! Now it's 9/30. I go back to pick up my car for the second time. Work looks okay, Still have used 2019 headlights in my new 2021 Nissan. No one at this place has any sense or care of time, whether it be hours, days, weeks or months. Communication within this place is very little, if any at all. It takes so much time to be able to get anything done here. You can't get an answer to a very basic simple question here either. Once they have your car, you will be promised a bunch of B.S. and lied to. 2 months to set a drop-off date, You'd think it would only take 3-4 days to fix. Nope, 16 days. Caliber does nothing in a timely fashion! 16 days to repair a 4 inch dent, 11 days of rental car, 5 days of no car, two trips to fix it correctly, $2,500 up-charge, $1,600 of used parts, I was never informed, I never approved, additional damage, low quality work, no quality control !!! read more

My car was hit by a big rig and my insurance company sent me to Caliber Collision off of 9th Street in Rancho. It was the worst experience of my life. Omar stated that he was going to make sure everything was fixed, and he prided himself on being the best and make sure he does a thorough job. (which wasn't the case). After leaving 7 message to call me back because I had questions on the car. He finally called me back and he had no answers to my questions. I ended up showing up to the shop, and still saw damages on the car I pointed them out to Omar. He then told me to come back next week the car will be done. I went it was raining and I couldn't look at the car. So I ended up driving home and doing a through walk through, and to my surprise Omar didn't do crap to it. My driver door wasn't locking, the latch needed to still be replaced. there was gap missing from the driver side. I went in the next day and spoke with the manger directly, which was Mike. He stated the same crap Omar said that he was going to make sure everything was fixed, and he prided himself on being the best and make sure he does a thorough job. Mind you my insurance will not cover me for another rental. So Mike took care of the rental car. I went on Friday to pick up my car...AND STILL the car is not fixed completely. Mike was stated it was never on the reports etc. but I showed him etc. Now he final place the order, and I STILL have to go back. I HIGHLY DISLIKE THIS PLACE, DON'T TAKE YOUR CARS THERE! Realize CALIBER COLLISON has had my since mid October we are now in "2023" and I have now taken my car back to them 4 times and now I'm waiting to get the call to take it back to HOPEFULLY get it fixed! Took my car to this facility because they were a pre approved repair facility for my insurance. Dropped my vehicle off on 12/07/22 to have the front bumper painted due to debris on the freeway. They painted it 3 times. Every time the color was wrong and the finish was orange peeled. The last time our service adviser Robert dodged us and told the front desk if we ask for our keys just give them to us and he went to lunch. Rear tire had a tire valve stem through the tire at time of pickup. This facility not only can't match paint but is unable to provide a quality finish on the paint. Not a good repair facility. I WILL NEVER EVER COME HERE AGAIN. It seems as if all the 5 star ratings/ reviews are from INDEPENDENT customers who had priority over my car in Caliber Collision's eyes because they rely heavily on returning customers and word of mouth but put cars that are assigned by insurance as a low priority. Geico's recommended shop that they have a contract with, which is guarantee labor, so why care about those customers when you have a business continously giving you cars, regardless of the services they (Caliber Collision) give. But given from my insurance appraiser they said I'm the first of many other claims that had similar issues with this particular location. Caliber Collision in Rancho Cucamonga, my service advisor ROBERT was short and rude from day 1, 9/22/2022 (when i turned my car) til 11/18/2022 (today). THEY HAD MY CAR FOR OVER 55 days to fix my $9k of damage to my passenger & rear passenger car doors. Don't bother giving them a chance front desk representatives are perceived to be nice in person but have no problem giving you attitude over the phone. My insurance, Geico, gave the body shop until 10/31 to finish the job. But did not complete and pulled the "delayed" card.. it's them blaming the Vendors car parts "shortage" or on "back order" expressing that the pandemic is the reason why they couldn't deliver the job. The person at faults insurance was covering for my rental up to 27 days! And decided to cut off once it realized Caliber Collision wasn't sending any updates until October 13th and that's when they got "all" the parts to finally fix the car. It wasn't until the person at faults insurance actually reached out to geico including me into the email (received on Oct 14th) stating: "Thank you for talking with me regarding the delay issue with Caliber-Rancho Cucamonga. The estimated listed a 17 day repair and it was not ready, which is understandable. For that reason we gave them an additional 10 days in the event they had delays in getting parts. On the day before it was to be ready, the shop emails your insured stating that the delay has been extended until 11-11-2022 due to a doors delay order, which is not acceptable. Our on staff appraiser Aaron Wood (000) 000-0000 contacted the parts vendors in the shops area and they all had the doors available. Come to find out the shop is not being honest and the truth is that they overbooked and are not able to keep up with the work that they are taking in. Our duty, as is of Geico is to pay what is reasonable and customary and 27 days of rental was reasonable." So I was paranoid about what would happen to my rental and I told Caliber Collision that they would pay for my rental until they've completed their services, I was on the phone with Robert and he in his rude tone "You signed a contract, we're not paying for anything". So after that my insurance paid until October 31st and THEY told Caliber that they are responsible for the 1st of Nov until my car is finished. Which ended up being the reason when I called Nov 11th expecting to pick up my car that Caliber Collision has assigned. I spoke with Robert and his only excuse was "well there's other cars aswell that we're working on." because at that point I received Nov 3rd via text from Caliber Collision that my car was FINALLY in the "polish department". So it was no longer the "waiting on car parts" because that was October's problem, there was no need for it to not be ready by the 11th OF NOVEMBER. So days pass and my insurance appraiser AND the appraiser supervisor was trying to get a hold of their district manager ANTONIO but he apparently ghosted my insurance until today and that's only because geico appraiser supervisor forced them to give me the unfinished car. To top it off I have to return my car to get one car part fix, SO THEY'RE STILL NOT DONE WITH THE JOB AFTER 50+ DAYS. NEVER EVER COME HERE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. **update 12/7/22** The response that you see Caliber Collision "apologizing" and offering their email? I emailed them all what was required November 22nd and a follow up email to them on December 5th. NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. read more

So I brought my vehicle in here for insurance repair... drop off was fine. Friendly, courteous... no issues. It's pick up where it all went south. I was phoned that my vehicle was ready on a Friday. I was going out of town and advised I could pick up the vehicle on the following Monday in the afternoon. Great. I take off work... drop off my rental... and go in on Monday afternoon. I do all the paperwork and pay my deductible. Told my vehicle would be up soon. Wait some more... told it was coming. Some time later... I get a call from someone in the back... that my vehicle wouldn't be ready for another day or so. I'm like... "I'm in your lobby with my paperwork waiting for it to be pulled up. Needless to say, I had waited there for at least 2hrs or so. Have to wait for Enterprise to come back and get me... and deal with that... as they had already closed my reservation and the insurance company was already closed. Uh huh. Fun stuff. There is a huge gap in communication *somewhere*... either with the Front Office Receptionist(s) or in the back. I received a meager apology... "sorry". Hey...I lost hours of work... and time... when it all could have been avoided. Sadly, it seems this isn't an isolated issue... as another client who rode with me to Enterprise was having issues as well. read more

This company was unprofessional and a nightmare to work with. I had bad experience with production on my car and customer service. Starting with customer service, there was absolutely no communication from my sales representative Bryan Romero. Anytime I got an update on my car was because I called him. He never once reached out to give me any update. He also often said "I'll call you back" but never does. If you get assigned Bryan Romero to handle your case, I would ask to right away to switch sales representatives. Production on my car took about two weeks, once I called to see if my car was ready to pick up Bryan Romero stated it was and as soon as I got there and saw my car I noticed my decals missing. I let Bryan talk about all the work they did on my car but he never once said anything about my missing decals if wasn't until I had asked him where are my decals and he then said "oh yea we could not find them, I think they got damaged and we are ordering new ones". It felt like he wasn't going to tell me about the decals and was hoping I'd hadn't noticed. Once we got the decal situation handled I had drove off and on my way home right away I noticed the outside noise coming into my car, very loud and distracting. I went back on Monday to drop it off so they can fix it and once again no communication from Bryan. I had to call again to see how it was going and when I can pick up my car. I went back and he stated they had fixed it, ran some test and I shouldn't hear the outside noise anymore. I drove off and came right back the next day because it felt like they didn't even work on the problem, it sounded the exact same. This is now the 3rd time going back to fix a problem that should've been doing correctly the first time. On the 3rd day Bryan dropped my car off to me at my work and my house keys are missing. I asked him where are my house keys and he didn't know what I was talking about. He called the shop and stated they were back at the shop, so I had to leave work, go to the shop and once I got there they couldn't find my house keys. There was no communication again from any worker just the front office receptionist saying "they are looking for them but I don't know". Not once did a manager come out to address, handle and or solve the situation that was going on. After 45 mins of me waiting around for any news Bryan finally came back in and found my keys stating they were attached to someone else's key. Why they even took my house keys off my key fob in the first place is unreasonable. Bryan Romero / Managers at Caliber are very unprofessional and do not provide customer service or quality work. My car is still not fixed but I will not be returning to them to fix my car. read more
