DO NOT take your car here. My vehicle was sent to this Caliber Collision after being hit by a semi, and what I went through with this location was nothing short of a nightmare. Yes, the work was done in about two and a half weeks--but it was horrible, rushed, and filled with lies. The spoiler was installed incorrectly it was literally lifting off. I brought it back several times, and each time they swore they removed and reinstalled it properly. That was a complete lie. The last time they just added some glue on it and hoped I wouldn't notice. Not only did they do poor work, they actively tried to cover it up. (This cause paint damage) The paint job? Awful. It wasn't buffed out correctly, and the bumper has paint peeling off like it was done in someone's backyard. (This was corrected at another caliber collision, which have also zero integrity) There was also a casing around the rearview mirror that needed to be fixed. They told me it was taken care of yet when I got my car back, the part was literally sitting on the passenger-side floor. What a joke. On top of that, my back seat was filthy like someone had been sitting in it regularly with dirty clothes. I NEVER have anyone in my back seat, and barely anyone in the passenger seat, so I know this mess came from their shop. Disgusting and disrespectful. And every time I brought my car back for corrections, they refused to offer me a rental saying it would be "more of a hassle" for me because of paperwork. What kind of excuse is that? They just didn't want to deal with it. Out of desperation, I even went to another Caliber Collision hoping for better treatment and results and got the same runaround and more lies. Their auto glass department is a joke. I took my car here in August for a windshield repair and all was well until Fontana got the windy season. My molding/frame flew off as I was driving and they don't want to cover it. Guess what, it never flew off prior to them working on it. I speak to the manager and he claims there's no one above him and no corporate number. Highly doubt that, you're literally JUST a manager there is always someone above you. *If you are looking to work with skeevy, dishonest people, then this is the place for you!* I wish I would have read through ALL the reviews before choosing this location. The few reviews I skimmed through seemed promising so I decided to take my car in. Upon arriving to the collision center, they had a huge sign in their front lobby bribing customers with a $5 Starbucks gift card after leaving a 5 star review (pic included). Pretty sure this is against Yelp rules... Moving on to the fun part. The service advisor I was assigned to was Beau, who is ironically their Assistant GM. After doing a visual inspection of my vehicle, he explained that most of the damage seemed to be "cosmetic" and an easy fix. He gave me an estimated pick up date and advised he'd be touching base with me on a weekly basis with updates on my vehicle. I received a text from him the first Tuesday after dropping my vehicle off and never heard from him again. After 1-2 weeks of no updates, I reached out and Beau had advised that they found more damages on my vehicle and was pending an answer from my insurance (which was a lie). I spoke with my adjuster who expressed that she had never spoken with Beau and that my vehicle had been considered a total loss. I chose to keep my vehicle as the damages were repairable. I stopped by the collision center to pick up my vehicle and Beau had informed me that the mechanics had taken my car apart for inspection and would not be able to put my car back together. MY VEHICLE WAS DRIVABLE WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF AND IN PIECES WHEN I WENT TO GO PICK IT UP. He refused to put my vehicle back together so I had to call for a tow, which was an additional expense and inconvenience. He also made numerous negative and condescending comments regarding my decision of keeping my vehicle stating it was "a bad idea" etc etc. I was able to take my vehicle somewhere else and now have my vehicle back and running in its original condition. It's been almost 30 days since turning in supporting documentation to this location on a plan refund regarding this location throwing away my rear license. Once my car was repaired, they happened to forgot to mention to my car insurance they throw away my license plate. This location swapped my front plate to the rear and expected this was ok. They promise to reimburse the fee to get a new tag and reimburse my new license plates. Turn in my receipts still awaiting my refund. This location lacks the common courtesy to keep me abreast of the reimbursement. I call, they keep saying the general manager is not in every single time. This is not how you conduct business. Never again! Had my car towed in after a collision with an object lying in the road damaged the front bumper cover. All the car needed was a new bumper cover and some paint work. That's a job that should have run about $2,000, but the estimate they turned in to my insurance co. that was bloated with an additional $8,000 in unrelated and unnecessary repairs. What should have been a $2k job turned into a $10k job and my insurance company totaled the car! Caliber also refused outright to provide a copy of the estimate to me when requested which is required by law. From the moment I signed the paperwork and walked out of the shop I was cut out of the loop and nobody wanted to talk to me. I handled all the unpleasantness with my insurance company yesterday and had the car towed to another body shop where, as I type this, it's getting a replacement bumper and paint for $2,100 which was ALL IT NEEDED IN THE FIRST PLACE! Now I'm forced to deal with a salvage titled car and DMV bureaucracy. Never again will I walk into another Caliber Collision and you can bet the Bureau of Automotive Repair is going to hear about this. *Update* 1/16/26. Yesterday, I had a very cordial conversation with Antonio, general manager at this location. Thank you for that Antonio. I worked as an automotive service writer/estimator for nearly ten years and Antonio's idea of how things should be done and mine are miles apart. The two main areas of contention here are the catalytic converters and the subframe which Caliber recommended for replacement. The cats were recommended because they had scratches on them; not because they failed, but because they had scratches. We examined the photos in Antonio's office and clearly scratches can be seen on the exhaust pipes downstream from the cats, but there are none on the cats themselves. There is no check engine light on or any other reason to suspect the cats suffered damage. In my experience superficial scratches are not a sufficient reason for replacing any part of an exhaust system and should not have been recommended. The second bone of contention is the subframe. There is damage to the subframe. I already knew about it. The damage comes from an incident with a very large rock in the road about ten years ago. I had my lead mechanic at the time check it out and he said the right-side cat was badly damaged and would have to be replaced, which we did. The dent in the subframe looked "iffy". He ran the car up on the alignment rack to check it out and the wheel alignment fell into spec perfectly fine so we didn't worry about it. There has never been a problem with the wheel alignment on the car. It runs straight and tire wear has been perfectly normal all these years. The wheels on the car are placed in a staggered arrangement which means they can't be rotated as a part of normal maintenance and as such abnormal tire wear would become apparent very quickly. If the subframe was a problem I would have replaced it long ago. The final bone of contention is that I was never given the opportunity to take the car to another shop for a second opinion. Caliber submitted the estimate to the insurance company and based on that estimate the insurance company totaled the car before I even knew what was happening. I never saw the estimate until after the fact when my insurance company provided a copy and from start to finish I had no voice in the process whatsoever even though it's my damned car. Who is right and who is wrong here? I'll leave that to the court of public opinion to decide. read more

Very surprised to see how highly rated this place is, considering the quality of work they produce, but that could mean people aren't attentive to the work done on their cars. I brought my car in as a recommendation by my insurance, that was my mistake. My car was involved in a front-end accident which meant I was in for a new hood, bumper, fenders, and intake. Attached are photos of the car before the accident and after the repair. What I noticed were gaps due to misalignments between panels. While it doesn't seem like much, these grew to become bigger gaps over time. It may seem like a small thing to nitpick at, but when a repair costs thousands, I think we as the customers are justified to do so. When I bought up my issues with the shop, they told me the gaps were within spec, meaning that was the best they could do (the bare minimum to pass insurance inspection). Disappointing. Not only did the shop use after-market parts, but they also used bad ones such as the MAF sensor that was replaced on my intake. This caused fuel injection problems for my car later which I had another shop fix, simply, by replacing the sensor with the OEM one. Makes me wonder why Caliber didn't use OEM parts to begin with when this was all being paid for by insurance anyways. I saw a lot of reviews about the service here, I will agree, the people there are nice, but I'm not sure what kind of cookies they're feeding everyone to overlook the work that is being done. I understand that a repair may not make the car look brand new again, but I expected a higher quality of work and effort. A lot of this could've been done better had they used OEM parts as my bumper turned out to be aftermarket as well. read more

Pretty disappointed, I made an appt to get an estimate for some damage that occurred to my daughter in laws vehicle 10 am 1/29/25. When I got there the receptionist was very nice, however they could not find my information ( and he made an effort to check) when he could not find it - he said who is the insurance company- I told him - and he said "with this company, there customers are drop and go" I asked - don't I get an estimate for the work before you start? Then something about, that company writes their own estimates. I tried to say - back up - I made an appointment to get an estimate for the repair. Then he says the work order or claim hasn't been set up yet and I'll need to come back..... what? Well can I just get an estimate? ( we did contact the claims adjuster and we discussed I was going to go out and get an estimate- the insurance company did offer a referral to there affiliate repair shops which I thanked them but stated I had a shop I've had repeated business with. I was told , ok please send us the estimate as soon as you can.) I did explain this to the receptionist, but again I was told - that insurance company doesn't work that way - what?? I now realized I'm hitting a wall and this was turning out to be a waste of time I went "almost" across the street - without an appointment- walked in said I'm looking for an estimate, can someone accommodate a walk-in. Within moments, nice guy comes out - I tell him my insurance company info - I tell him how I explained- I was going out to get an estimate for the repair - he says great, let's get you an estimate- took my insurance info, he says "we have a good relationship with your insurance company" - got back with me by day end with an estimate of the cost and the repair time - had my deductible info already and we made an appointment to drop off the car. ( I will update this review of the experience with this new ((to me) repair facility. I did go back into my car records and I can confirm I've been a repeat customer of Caliber Collision back to 1997, unfortunately - I'm not sure anymore. Like everyone our days can be busy - appointments are necessary and both you and the business understand time is valuable - "but" the reality is, businesses change, the people you look for no longer work at the location, business is driven by technology with times, company policies and customer care and critical problem solving don't fit into the nice box when a hiccup arises. I'm just one little guy - so no one at caliber is going to miss me because I'm gone. But it really is a shame. read more

While I appreciated their promptness and professionalism, I was extremely disappointed to find chipped paint that was not there upon dropping off. The reason for my disappointment is that I had specifically chosen this shop for their reputation for quality workmanship, and unfortunately, this experience fell short of my expectations. When I spoke to the person in charge of my vehicle repairs she stated that the pressure washer they used to wash it may have chipped it off. The only reason I am giving this place a 1 star is because you can't give anything lower. To say I'm upset and disappointed with the work at this location is an understatement. We took my son's car to Caliber Collision in December after he was involved in an accident. First thing is after a very long delay and updates as to why it taking so long, our service person promised car would be done on March 11, 2021. I told my son that the car he has been waiting to get back was finally going to be completed and to call on March 11th to see what time he could go pick it up. He walks in with a disappointed look on his face and tell me he just called and they said it was going to take another week. I say, "that's impossible! I talked to the service rep last Friday, she told me it would be ready this Friday for sure!" I call this person extremely upset and I get a, I'm really sorry, I thought it would be ready but it's going to take another week." Really! What! Then why would you say it's definitely going to be ready on this date? So another week goes by and the car is finally able to be picked up just as they are closing on that Friday. He picks up the car and he and my wife see a dent in the drivers door that was not there before. They point it out to the service person who has so far poorly handled this entire experience. She tells my wife that they have a person who could come out to our house and fix it. That was it, no follow-up afterwards, no call, no contact. I finally send her an email and she tell me that she will check with their person to see if he does house calls. Why on earth would you tell us that you have a person who can come to our house to fix it if you did not know if that was the case? So, my son is diving his car and he keeps hearing a banging sound under the hood. He checks under the hood and realizes what the banging is from. They have not secured the battery! The battery is simply sitting in the tray unsecured! So every time he turns a corner or accelerates or brakes, the battery is banging off of everything it can. He showed it to a mechanic and was told the positive terminal banging on the metal post could have spark and caused a fire. I don't expect people to work miracles on my behave or do me special favors. What I do expect from people, is to simply do your job correctly. Now, I'm left to wonder, if they did not even secure the battery, what else is wrong with this car my son is driving around in. There are a lot of places to get your car repaired. Do not take your car here. They will scam your insurance and leave you with a broken car. I brought my car here August 2024 and have been coming back every month since. When I first picked up the car the steering wheel was crooked. They gave it an alignment. Not too long later I came back because the paint came off and my car was making a noise from where it got hit and again the alignment. I spoke to the new manager Antonio and he avoids the problems and wants to make it the customer's fault. The car has only ran 4k miles since there is no reason for me to need an alignment every month when I never hit anything. Antonio inspected my car and let me know that they are not willing to replace the parts they put to begin with. When they say they will redo anything they have worked on it is a lie. The lifetime warranty is only for the paint they do not want to work on anything else. Save yourself and go somewhere else this place will waste your time. On 12/19/22 I was involved in a hit and run incident with my girlfriend in the passenger seat when a semi truck hit a tree and the tree fell on top of my front bumper and damaged the whole entire front of my vehicle / windshield in Ontario. My girlfriend and I were pretty traumatized still from the accident and were having a hard time thinking straight. The lady (Vanessa) who helped us out was very unprofessional and just wanted to get us through the paperwork. After explaining what happened to us during our accident (because none of them even asked) she responded very sarcastically saying "oh wow, that sounds like a crazy story." And proceeded with the paperwork. The lack of sympathy is mind blowing. To top it all off, when my tow truck driver walked in to hand the keys over to them. Vanessa was very very happy to see him. They appear to be close friends. Smiling and winking at each other, dabbing each other up, cracking jokes. Borderline flirting in front of my girlfriend and I. As the tow truck driver is about to leave, Vanessa offers him drinks and snacks and tells him to help himself to anything he needs or wants. Then, proceeds to complete our paperwork, returning to her flat affect and unprofessional demeanor. Once our paperwork is complete you would think she would offer us (the customer) drinks and snacks like she did the tow truck driver, but she didn't. We just left mind blown at the experience. 1/16/23 just picked up the vehicle and the repair shop did a great job. No complaints on that end. The women at the front desk need additional training on professionalism. If they had been somewhat decent at their job I would give caliber collision a 5 star review. Flirting with tow truck drivers is unacceptable behavior. read more
