I'm writing this review based on the service I was given, and I wouldn't recommend it, I had gotten T Boned and my car had very minimal damage wasn't too bad, all it could've used was two new doors and that's it. The car was in the shop for 5 months with them going back and forth with my insurance, I understand they want to get everything fixed on your car but when they kept asking they gave up and totaled out the vehicle when things got harder, and now the insurance is refusing to let me take it to any other shop because of what they said about the car. I cannot thank Paul Copley, the General Manager of Caliber Collision at 6435 W. Park Blvd. I first met Paul when my wife and I brought her car in for an estimate. The number was significant and Paul said let me take a look at it myself. He then brought a small buffer and some compound out and pretty much buffed the entire spot out. It still left some chips and Paul suggested touch up pencils and gave us the name of a couple of companies that sold them. I bought a set but was VERY leery of doing it myself because it is a very nice car and I didn't want to goof it up. Called Paul to get an appointment to get it repaired by a pro. He met me at the exact time of the appointment and took the car around to the shop. Less than an hour later, you couldn't tell it had been scraped and he would NOT accept any sort of payment. He told me "touch ups were free." If, God forbid, I ever need some body work done, I will head straight to Caliber Collision and Paul. He also recognized my military service. I want to fix this review, please give me a reason to change it. 5/24 Accident Occured: - front end collision 5/29 1st repair (LOVE FIELD): got back - missing expensive mud matt and bumper popping off 6/19 2nd repair: (LOVE FIELD) - requested fixed: 1) realign the windshield wiper fluid blaster 2) realign the front bumper 3) Fix the front bumper clips 4) Make the hood of the car flush with the edges 6/29 3rd repair (PLANO): bumper popping off again, and not aligned still - took it to another location They then went silent for over a month after saying they would order a part. I called them and turns out the service was cancelled?! I am taking this car in for the 4th times hoping they get it right this time - what a headache. read more

This company left my car in worse condition, than when I dropped it off. ANOTHER INCOMPETENT COMPANY. I recently had a break in with my rear passenger side window broken. I contacted my insurance and Caliber was the closest location to my home. When I dropped my vehicle off, it took them 4 days to do an estimate because they are closed on weekends and the Claims person went on a 3 hour lunch on Friday. They told me it would take 2 WEEKS minimum to repair a freakin window. When she completed the estimate on Monday, I was told they could not repair the window due to previous work on the door. Ok, but did you have to destroy the paint on my car while it was in your possession????? The tape they used to seal the window TORE THE PAINT OFF MY CAR! They used a scraper (in their words) to try and get the tape off. So not only do I have an unrepaired window, I now have PAINT THAT'S BEEN DESTROYED by their incompetent people. I now have a car that can't be fixed by Caliber, per their assessment, and they proceeded to damage the paint job on my car. So my car is now WORSE than when I dropped it off. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY even if your insurance has them listed. They will destroy your car without even working on it, and will take NO RESPONSIBILITY for it. Stay away from this place. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!! This is ANOTHER SCAM ARTIST COMPANY who has no regard for your vehicle and will cause more damage than when you dropped it off. I got rear ended on the highway (my first ever accident!) and I didn't know what to do. I took my car in to Caliber Collision in Plano. The staff was very friendly and patient with me while I asked so many questions. Even though they were extremely busy due to the pandemic and lack of parts, they still took my car in. The car did take longer than normal to get fixed, due to supply shortages, but Caliber kept me informed every step of the way. The manager, Doug, was exceptionally amazing. I had an appoint this morning through my insurance Allstate at 8:30am for an estimate. I was done by 9:00am and the service advisor Derian Villanueva told me he would email me the estimate in about 1/2 hour. As of 1:30pm no estimate. I contacted Allstate who called the shop and I finally received the estimate just after 2:00pm. If it take almost 5 hours just to get an estimate I can only imagine how long it would take to actually repair a vehicle. read more

The are a scammers, they hold my car for 1 months only for painting the bumper and they told me it only takes 2 weeks and I was keep getting call ever day that something happened to your car, we accidentally broke your headlight and we will replace it as soon possible and then again they damaged my hood and they said we will replace it. Finally today I went to grab my car at the first they said you will only pay $1000 for everything and they give me a check for $3500 and they were very rude they said if you don't pay we won't give your car. They stole money and they do horrible job. The girl Grace and Natalie at the service desk. Horrible people, this place needs to be removed. I am 22 year old boy who studies at and work and these people stole my whole savings for only changing bumper. $3000 only for bumper. I beg you don't go this place please. read more

My car needed the weather protector placed back on and the lady I called who worked here was incredibly rude and short on the phone and said they would not put it back on, only order a new part and then place it. I was in an accident and was recommended by my insurance Farmers insurance to come to Caliber collision on W Park because I live in Plano . They normally need an appointment but because of my damages they let me drop off with no appointment. I don't have rental coverage so I didn't have a way to get home. Even with his busy schedule my estimator Jacky took time out to take me home so I didn't need to spend money on Uber. great updates throughout the process and kept me informed always. he even comole Ted my car repairs a week early. highly recommend caliber in Plano and great service read more

I'm really disappointed with the service that I actually didn't receive today at this service center. I called in advance to ask if they performed state inspections. They answered yes, said that it takes about 30 minutes and that they didn't have a wait at that time. I said that I would be there in ten minutes. When I arrived they checked me in and asked me to wait in the waiting room. After 45 minutes I was still waiting so I went into the garage to check the progress. The service guy told me that they hadn't started yet because an inspection guy wasn't there. I went back inside to express my dismay. I'm equally dismayed that the front desk personnel didn't seem very regretful that this had happened. Never again will I go there!~ read more

I took my car in to have a back bumper and a cracked windshield worked on. I got regular text updates which is good. When I got the final update I noticed nothing there was mentioned about the windshield. I asked and was told they had not worked on it. They said it would take more time to order the windshield and they wanted to keep my car for several mores days. I said no pick up my car payed for the work which was done and left. Then I called Richardson Auto Glass who came to my office and replaced my windshield for $250.00 less than the quote from Caliber Collision. Not good! read more

Horrible!!!! -I had an appointment at this location for one door on my SUV. They called a day later, I'd already waited 2 weeks, and said the staff all had the flu and wanted to move my car to Plano off Central Expwy so my SUV would be done sooner than waiting on the staff. I was already paying out of pocket for a rental beside this location. After 2 full weeks I called the General Mgr at this location about some reimbursement for part of my rental since it has dragged on. Mike, the GM, said I'd have to deal with the location they transferred my SUV to at Plano on central for some reimbursement since it wasn't going as I was told. He emailed the GM at that location and asked for him to called me. When he called, he said we fixed a small door dinge since we already needed to paint that area to 'blend' it with the other door. I had declined. I was already paying a $1,000 deductible along with this rental. I said " But it has been 2 weeks in this rental. (for one door in which the advisor said arrived on time). Jamie, this General Mgr said " What is wrong with your Rental?? I said that you are running late and it keeps costing me money. I need a status on my SUV. He said "Your Status is IT IS MY SHOP!!" I said, okay.... this conversation is going nowhere and I got off this rude call from him. Another WEEK later I am still calling the shop about my car. I was finally told that it would be ready today , after 3 WEEKS. I had to call them again about picking it up and they SAID THAT THE PAINT JOB DIDN"T MATCH SO they would have the general mgr , Jamie, call me. I finally called State Farm and lodged a complaint along with telling them I'll take my SUV somewhere else and have it repainted. State Farm Rep called but to no avail. Jamie said "We are painting it again right now and I will call her about part of her rental costs. HE DID NOT CALL IN 5 HOURS BEFORE THEY CLOSED. He just Lied to State Farm too..... It will be over 3 weeks in which they will not communicate, can't get the color matching, along with being extremely rude and unprofessional.... read more

My experience has been a good one, Caliber went above and beyond in my case. My front bumper needed repair on the passenger side. The decal was missing part of the lower grill and paint was needed...This wasn't the first time the bumper had been painted, Grubbs were I purchased the car had painted the bumper 3 times before. Once removed I was found that the bumper should have been replaced by Grubbs, however I will say Grubbs Infiniti didn't have a in house body shop at the time of the repair and had to contract an outside vendor. Within a week the paint began to crack and peel in the middle and drivers side. Geico wouldn't pay for any additional repairs so Caliber replaced the bumper with a new one. read more

My insurance booked me with them so I dropped my car off on Wednesday and was told I would have an estimated time by Friday.. Friday came around and no update, so Monday I called and the front desk lady told me that she couldn't tell me about my car my estimator had to and he wasn't in that day she took a message and he would get to me the next day.. next day comes around and I waited until they were almost closed to call for the update and they tell me I had to get my updates through my insurance so I call my insurance after business hours.. so the next morning they finally tell me that they can't work on my car because of prior damage.. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!! Why couldn't they just at least give me a heads up? Also I called to ask to get a text or call whenever the tow truck came to pick my car up and got a terrible attitude from the lady at the front desk and the guy who she passed the phone to. I've had two dealings with this location and it's something I hope I'll never need again (knock on wood) but if I do I'll be back there. One needed paint matching and I was so worried it wouldn't look right but it looked brand new afterwards. They kept me informed on the progress and made me feel like they appreciate my business. Work on the body was well done - right paint, all good. However, they make a poor job for reassembling things: Thermostat for engine was not reconnected! Windshield water system not reconnected Engine liner poorly reassembled and fixed - have to do it myself... Worse they have changed the back bumper sensors with parts that are not from the manufacturer, and replaced the entire system with a cheap one that sounds terrible. Asked them to get things back, and telling where they could find the right parts. They argued their provider cannot deliver the same parts, and refused to make things right. When i see the price paid for all the work done, it is a shame. Despite the efforts of Austin to be kind and serve customers his best, i am pretty disappointed. I had better experience with Herb's a few years ago. read more

I have had our Company vehicles repaired here twice. Caliber Collision and Tiffany always make sure that we are informed on when we can expect our truck to be back in service. Sadly but a fortunate find, I have now brought my vehicle to this location two times. The first time was to fix my car from an accident where someone hit me. I worked with Ron and he was very thorough and always communicated with me on the status of my vehicle. I had no hassle on the timeframe they fixed my car or any problems there after. They left such a great impression that at my second accident, my fault, I could have taken my vehicle to one of their other locations which is only 1 mile away for me, but because they did such a stellar job the first time I was willing to wait two weeks and drive 13 miles farther for their service. Update: Its been over a year and the swirl makes are still on the hood and won't buff out. Too late to take it back. Wont use these guys again. Did a good job on the truck. Had to take it back to get rear sliding window properly connected and find a missing plastic piece to cover wires on the passenger side of the truck. They made the truck look like new but i have swirl marks on the hood from the buffing that i will have to wax out myself which I'm not to terribly happy about. but they fixed the truck and it looks good except for the bad swirl marks. read more

I cannot say enough about the west park Blvd location in Plano. From Ashley at the front, to Carlos who was very friendly and informative when I called, as he was the service advisor assigned to my car. However, the best customer service I have EVER received came from Doug, the general manger. He takes that extra step to not only make sure that his store runs smoothly, but also that the customer understands the process. My car was unexpectedly deemed a total loss- which was quite upsetting and confusing. If not for Doug- I wouldn't have been able to sleep at night , no joke! He takes a difficult experience and brings it to a personal level, and is beyond helpful and reassuring. They kept my car 3 weeks without any attempt to update. When it was "ready", my hood was misaligned and my rear view mirror was loose. A few weeks later, the splash guard under front bumper came loose. No way would I use these jokers again. And being without your vehicle is just as hard! When I first took my car in, I thought it would be an easy and quick process...but I was so wrong. However, thanks to the direction and communication of Johnathon (new manager) I feel comfortable with the process. He wasn't there in the beginning; so when I had to bring my car back, I was really upset; but he made everything much better. WOW!! This location of Caliber Collision rocks! Unfortunately, I have had to bring my car in for damage a couple of times, but they are certainly my "go-to" for repairs. Two weeks ago, the side view mirror was knocked off my new SUV. I brought it in and worked with Tiffany, who is incredible! She immediately inspected the damages and I had an estimate in hand right away. I decided to drop my car off two days later and let Tiffany know that I needed the car a few days later for a drive to Houston. She expected it would only take two days to repair the mirror, which was surprising because it has motion sensors. Sure enough, two days later, my car was ready! She updated me with text messages during their progress. I highly recommend Calibur on Park (near Plano Parkway) in Plano. I took my car here for repair after a small collision and the experience was really good. I left my car on Friday and the process was very simple, they have an Enterprise location right there so I used a rental through my insurance since that day. Next Tuesday they called me to tell me that it would take probably two weeks which was fine because I was going to be out of town next week. A day later they called me again to tell me that they had all the parts they need and it will be ready by Friday noon. I was impressed. I was leaving town early on Friday and Robert was very nice to keep my car there for a week. After I got back they gave me the car and it was like new, I mean, the parts were all new and looks like part of the car was new. There's no way to tell it was repaired, at least not for me, they did a high quality job. I only had a problem with a light a week later so I called them and they told me to go whenever I want to get it fixed. I did and again Robert fixed the light in less than fifteen minutes, it's a very nice guy, always helpful. I haven't had any other problem with the repairs. I definitely recommend this Caliber location, process was smooth and they always kept me informed, never had to call them for an update. read more
