(And his estimate was a little less than the other). The work was done promptly, and my car is again tip-top! He even fixed some scratches that were on a different part of the car without me even asking. I didn't want to bring them up because I didn't want to complicate the transaction of the primary repair. I think they went over and above. Scott is honest and competent. And I really liked that I was working with a local business. My other estimate was with a large company and the specifics of getting an making contact, getting an appointment, etc., were not great.

No one likes to be involved in an auto accident, but taking my car here was a great decision. From the easy no-hassle quote, to the price remaining the same from start to finish, & then they ended up calling me a day earlier than predicted to say my car was ready for pickup. Nothing but good things to say about this place...if you are in need of auto-body work, put your car in Suburbans hands. Love the dog(s) in the waiting area, too!

With materials and labor I was looking at a bill of approximately $1,000. That same mechanic recommended I possibly try a body shop since this is more their specialty and perhaps they had a better and more affordable solution. I called John McShane Auto Body and they were able to fix my car door handle for a significantly lower price than it would have cost my mechanic to fix. The work was done quickly, professionally, and with great care. Avoid Limerick Auto Body, Poor Experience and Poor Quality Work:…read more I do not typically write negative reviews for a given business, however, I will make an exception for Limerick Auto Body. I brought my Mercedes Benz to Limerick Auto Body to have the rear bumper repainted. I was told they needed the car for 4 days to complete the job. I arrived to pick up the car on the 4th day only to discover that the surface was not prepped properly prior to painting as they did not sand all the road line paint off the rear bumper prior to painting it. In essence, they just painted over it which is poor quality auto body work. I rejected the body work on the car, and the bumper was repainted and clear coated for a second time. This required an additional two days. I picked up the car after 6 days only to discover the next day that they did not wet sand and buff out all the dirt particles and sanding marks throughout the clear coat of the entire rear bumper. The rear bumper was also poorly aligned with the body of the car showing excessive gaps. In addition, the radar sensor on the passenger side of the car was not recalibrated correctly by Limerick Auto Body. As a result, I took the car to another auto body shop for an estimate to fix what Limerick Auto Body did not and cannot do properly. The cost to realign the rear bumper and wet sand and buff out all the dirt particles in the clear coat is about $500.00. Unfortunately, this will be at my expense. Limerick Auto Body had two chances to properly complete the job, and they failed to do so on both occasions which is ridiculous. Clearly, Limerick Auto Body is a low-end, poor quality auto body shop and guaranteed to disappoint. The owner just makes excuses for low quality auto body work and should be embarrassed. Surprisingly, Limerick Auto Body's slogan is "Excellence Guaranteed". I can guarantee you that is not what I found. Save yourself the time and aggravation and look for another auto body shop as quality, craftsmanship, attention to detail and customer satisfaction are foreign concepts to the owner of Limerick Auto Body and his team.
