My insurance company referred me to this shop. It has been the worst experience; my car has been in their shop for about 35 days at the time of this review. I was given a completion date of 6/13. After that, they kept pushing the completion date. On 6/20, I decided to visit the shop to get an update on my car, as phone calls and text messages were never responded to. When I got there, I was given an invoice to sign before inspecting my car; I'm glad I didn't sign anything because my car returned with several items half done. when I brought the mistakes up to the manager of the shop, he just mentioned they were "little" things and I could bring the car back another day. I refused to take my car because the pending items were no "little" things. The imperfections included mechanical items under my car , breaks, and left wheel, the car was unsafe to drive the way they were given it back to me. The manager promised to fix the items and call me that same day(Friday). Friday went by, nothing. I called Monday and the manager states that some more pieces need to be ordered and he doesn't have an estimate time of completion. He suggested my best bet was to take the card as it is, pay my deductible, and sign the release. I cannot take the car as my car is not safe to drive. I keep calling for an update and all I get is a "don't worry my love, he's going to call you back" I took the time to write this long review so you don't follow on their trap, like I did. My car was initially sent to this facility on March 18, 2024, due to extensive damage to the entire passenger side, as well as damage to the grill and front bumper. Unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. I have visited this location four times to pick up my vehicle, each time being told it was "ready." On most of these occasions, I had to leave work early to retrieve my car with my husband. On April 19, 2024, I visited your location after being notified that my car was ready for pickup. However, upon inspection, I discovered that the grill was still not fixed, and the side panels were sticking out. Additionally, the paint on the passenger door remained unresolved. On April 26, 2024, I returned for the second time, only to find that the left passenger door paint issue persisted. While the grill had been replaced, improper bracket installation caused the bumper to protrude significantly. Holes were also visible on the front bumper. On May 10, 2024, I made my third attempt to retrieve my car. Although the exterior issues were resolved, I was shocked to find that all sensor lights were illuminated. The staff informed me that I would need to drive without ABS and return for further adjustments. When I requested written confirmation, they declined, citing legal reasons. Consequently, I left my car once again. The manager stated he "was not on board with the decision" of me leaving with my car while the sensor lights were still on. However, the front desk lady canceled my lease, leaving us stranded. We called an Uber, but unfortunately, I had already paid for it, and the driver was already there. Finally, on May 16, 2024, I went to pick up my "ready" car. But once again, I had to leave it as there were multiple circular marks all over the passenger door resembling the marks of a buffing machine. Furthermore, on the left bumper, under the light, there are two deep white scratch marks. We contacted the supervisor at Progressive, who advised us to leave the car once again. Progressive stated that Caliber Collision should have provided us with a rental car due to the inconvenience and negligence on their part. However, once again, they did not, as the manager claimed it was "above his pay grade." Since April 30, 2024, until May 10th, 2024, I have been paying out of pocket for a rental car, costing approximately $45 per day. This financial burden has been exacerbated by the repeated delays and incomplete repairs. The lack of concern from Caliber Collision regarding my situation is disheartening. As their customer, I expected better communication and accountability. I kindly request reimbursement for the additional expenses incurred due to the extended repair process. It is essential to recognize the impact this situation has had on my daily life and finances. Additionally, according to Progressive, Caliber Collision should be paying for me to have a rental car, given their inability to fix my vehicle. Caliber Collision's offer of a $250 Publix gift card falls short, considering I continue to be without a rental or my own vehicle. read more

I dropped my car off here to be fixed even though it was a 20 minute drive from my house because of their positive reviews. I have regretted that decision since. I understand there are delays with receiving parts due to COVID, but I have continued to receive dates of when my car would be finished and that date has continued to be delayed. I have had to continuously call to follow up with them because they do not call with any update. How convenient that each time I call they were JUST about to call me. At this point they have had my car for three months. THREE months of which I have had to dish out car payments, Insurance payments and soon a 1k deductible all while my car is just sitting in their lot. Finally I get the call that my car is ready, i tell them I don't have transportation to make it there in that moment but that I'd be there the next morning. "What time will you be open" i ask, they said 8 am. I get there at 8:30 just for them to tell me the car is still not ready and I need to wait another hour. WHAT IS GOING ON. They kept me informed of the progress of the repairs and they met the deadlines they gave me. I actually believe they were as proud of the job they did as I was pleased with how it looked. Juana at the front desk was great, the service was streamlined. The car took about 8 days for completion, I had a nice rental so it was ok, however if you're paying for your rental out of pocket then it may end up costing you more here vs other places I have been to. They would have had 5 stars except there was a part of my trunks interior that popped off when i was rear ended, I specifically pointed it out and asked them to fix it as it was caused by the damage in the accident. It seems that they didn't do it correctly and my trunk cover collapsed into itself. It is hard to find the time to drive there to wait and have them fix it at the point, so I am sure I can google it or figure it out, but they assured me they would take care of it, so it was disappointing. read more

Literally the most incompetent body shop in all of Miami. They give you the run around and say that there's a missing part for MONTHS. Then call you and say your car is ready and when you show up the next day to pick it up, the "manager" asks you to wait another hour because the car isn't ready. Absolutely zero customer service skills or regard for time. Save your time and money and drive to Hialeah and get your car fixed by Fulanito, you're only 10 minutes away. Went here earlier this year for a repair. I was recommended by a close friend. The car had substantial damage, nothing too serious. I knew the front bumper and headlight were scratched, they were able to polish and save my headlights which helped tremendously with cost. I dreaded having to be there in the first place but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Initially, I was told the repair would take about 4 days, and I received my vehicle in 3. The shop is pretty clean, and the the staff was very transparent about the cost the entire process. Very clean shop, and very professional. No surprises or hidden fees. Went in to fix my 3 smashed windows about 4 months ago. I receive my car about a week later thinking everything is fine but the driver door doesn't lock and is jammed plus my tints look like a 6th grader did it for the first time and also glass was still in all my doors. I called they told me to come back they'd look at it and determine what needed to be done. They fixed the lock on the door which if the glass was broken in that window it would seem like they'd check that. I guess not... then after I get them done a second time what a difference in the tints. Apparently the first time they just couldn't even put the tints on right. It's about 4 months later and my tints are still being scratched by what I can only assume is still glass in the doors. All 3 windows have scratches on the tints. So now I would have to go through to whole mission of turning in my car having a rental which I'd pay the 150 deposit which I shouldn't have too becuase this isn't my fault. I was referred to Caliber by USAA after an oak branch fell on my Honda CRV's hood. I was pleased that the estimate for replacement was $693, well below my $1,000 deductible. Service advisor Jesus Marcos said the fix would take four days but the car was ready in three. When I brought it in, the exterior was mildewed from being parked under a tree and not having been washed in more than a year. When I left my car was spotless, inside and out. And the new hood matched perfectly. I felt that I was driving away in a new car. Jesus and his team did a great job of taking care of me. read more

The date didn't work for me since I needed to move, and I explained this to the staff. Customer service in general at this colison center leaves a lot to be desired for. They had multiple issues location work order as well as rental car reservation. Hard to sometimes get a hold of someone who can properly assist you. My mother had a terrible experience after returning her rental vehicle and leaving it with Jason in practically the same condion it was given to her. Enterprise charged her $150 for a cleaning they claimed was necessary beause the car smelled like someone had smoked in it, according to them that was the state they received the vehicle after Caliber Collision returned it to them. Very upsetting and unpleasant for them to claim this due to the fact my mother has never smoked a day in her life. No one at Caliber ever got back to her with a follow up on this matter. Needless to say I would not recommend nor would I suggest anyone uses their services period. read more

I must say I was SUPER impressed and I do not impress easily. The attention that I received was second to any I have experienced with any collision center. The communication was EXCELLENT!!! I received updates throughout the week to advise me of the status of my vehicle. The vehicle was even completed a couple of days earlier than they originally told me. That's even after my insurance took an extra 2 days to inspect the vehicle for a supplement. I wold definitely use them again without hesitation. Workmanship was as good as can be. Of course none of us want to end up in a place like this. But I started at a previous shop that took over a month to get the quote to the insurance company in Kendall. In fact we had to force the insurance to follow up. Then I remember we have used Caliber Collision once before on another car that was rear-ended.. So I went back and thank God I did. I went from a toothless hick in Kendall to a wonderful set of people. 2 in particular, Jessica and William. My car isn't even finished yet and I have to write about these guys. They have your back.. Period. They treat your situation like it is theirs personally. They are calm, the place is CLEAN. They know my injuries, torn ACL, each shoulder tendon torn with a blown disc and 3 misplaced to start. And they actually show concern. They are FRIENDLY, Concise and Articulate. I'm sure once I get the car back, I'll be doing a follow up review. If your insurance company refers you to some toothless hick, RUN! You have every right to refuse their service. But make sure you go to Caliber Collision, I recommend this location and speak to Jessica and William that talk to you normally and have ACTUAL CONCERN for your situation. My new family.
