They worked with us by accepting the other party's personal check in advance even though it was not their normal policy to do so. We were happy with the repair and recommend them highly.

On my way home I noticed the time and thought I would pop in to ask for an estimate appointment. I entered the office to owner Joe & told him what I would be requesting. Joe kindly suggested we step outside and estimate the damage. I showed him the few small defects; he noted that the headlight placement had been damaged and that likely all repairs would be roughly $2100. I asked if they did loaner cars during the repair? They do not, but if it's the other persons insurance they should allow a rental car. I discussed the "Selected Service Shops" the insurance had suggested. He stated that those places are usually commission based and that Wayne-Val is just him, his wife & brother-in-law compared to larger shops that are 20+ associates. I feel confident in leaving my vehicle w Wayne-Val and will do another yelp/update this one once I have actually had my vehicle repaired. I appreciated that Joe quoted me a realistic 19 February as what I'd be looking at for a service date. I mostly appreciated that Joe told me some of the questions that the insurance may ask, such as: do I approve used parts? He said I don't have to say yes and he wouldn't recommend used parts and it could only save insurance a couple hundred dollars. Thanks Wayne-Val for a wonderful and knowledgeable customer service experience!

With my first car, I had some deal where I got free oil changes, and they were always fast. Now, when I have my maintenance done, I sit in the waiting room, use their free wi-fi, eat a donut and relax for 20 minutes. Sweet.

In 2016 my wife's vehicle was backed into on the front end. We took the vehicle to AutoNation in…read moreWhite Bear Lake as they were an authorized repair center. When we got the car back, the entire interior was filled with what appeared to be sanding dust. This in and of itself wasn't a huge deal, it just adds to what has become a much larger picture. Also with this repair, the first time that we drove the vehicle at night we found that one of the headlights pointed off in a very odd direction. We took it back to them. They informed us that they had to actually install a new headlight as the one they had put in couldn't be adjusted properly and thus we had to bring the vehicle to them for a third time to ultimately get it fixed correctly. Then after a second accident, the vehicle came back and the key-fob remote no longer worked as it was supposed to. My wife went back to the repair center and the technician argued with her stating that her car didn't have the feature which she said it did. She had to get the manual out to prove the car had the feature. They then agreed to look into it and ultimately were able to fix the problem and get the car working the way it should have been. This event required a total of 3 trips to the repair center to ultimately get the car fully repaired. This in addition to having to deal with poor customer service. Now this last time (yes I acknowledge this vehicle has been an accident magnet), the vehicle was rear ended and had to go back to the repair center. After getting the car back the rear-view camera was found to be intermittently not working. On occasion, instead of there being a video feed on the screen in the car, it simply shows a black screen with a message to go to the dealership. My wife scheduled an appointment to have it looked at the AutoNation repair center. She was told it would take 30 minutes to look into the problem and we should be there at 8 am. I arrived shortly before 8 am. The person I worked with explained that the mechanic who needed to look at the problem wasn't in yet. I had an appointment I needed to be at by 9 am. At 8:40 am, the mechanic still hadn't arrived and I had to leave, so the issue still wasn't addressed. Because of the continuation of problems at this repair center I reached out to the organization expressing my dissatisfaction. A few days later I received a call from a manager (Kevin I think). It was clear early in the conversation that Kevin had little appreciation for us as customers and was only interested in making excuses and justifications for his team's poor performance. I would avoid this business at all costs!!
