My experience with Calibur Collison was exceptional! In the 30 years that I have been driving I had never had a collision before. From the moment I arrived I was greeted with warmth. I dropped off my Equinox a few days ago. I was getting a rear door and quarter panel repair. Al and Tony was very informative on what they were going to do and how long it was going to take for the repairs. During the duration of the repairs I received notifications on the status of the repair and when my SUV would be ready to pick up. I was told the repairs would take about 6-7 Days. My car was ready in 3 days. When I arrived it was a quick to pick up and the repairs looked amazing. Al brought my SUV up and Tony showed me what was done. I came here for an estimate of damages to my car since it was a mile from my house and on my insurance company's list of facilities. I pulled in to their lot and had issues trying to find a parking spot as it's overwhelmed with cars. I became concerned I was going to cause damage to my car trying to navigate their tiny parking lot. I arrived on time for my appointment and had to wait 10 minutes for their rep to return from somewhere offsite which I found troubling. He had me pull my car over to a bay where he tried to get it in the bay. My car has lowering springs, not terribly low, but we were all cringing as he attempted to pull it into the bay that had a small but significant slope and tiny bay door. He was able to get it into the bay but then realized the lift wouldn't fit under my car. He pulled it out and attempted to use another bay with different rack that he had to drive up on. This wasn't going to happen either and I convinced him to stop before damage occurred. He told the mechanic to get the manual jack which he attempted to use to lift up the back of the car to see the interior bumper area. The mechanic didn't even get it lifted before he told him to stop and simply peeked under the car. At this point I was ready to leave and go to a reputable autobody facility that could even provide a quality estimate. I left with an estimate but didn't have confidence that he validated the extent of damage simply by peeking from the edge. I went to another autobody facility to get a second opinion. While waiting for my estimate, the rep was going back and forth with another customer who dropped his car off six weeks earlier. They told him it was ready but he identified issues that should have been caught with a quality assurance, quality control check...didn't even drive straight. He was upset as many previous reviews confirm, that they've had the car for a long period of time, and it's still not ready. After witnessing this, I feared coming here. Cars in the parking lot appeared as if they were being worked on in the parking lot, pieces nearby. I wasn't having any of this with my car. I had brought my car to caliber collision back in December of 2022 to be repaired from a side swiping accident. After a month or so being in the shop the car was giving back to me. I am unsure if the car was test driving before given back to me. Between January and May I had to bring the car back 3 separate times after the initial repair for the same issue. I even had to seek outside opinions and inspection from other body shops and mechanics. They whom of which told me to bring it back to the caliber collision to have to fix their poor work. Each time the car was given back to me it was NEVER test driven by ANYONE. I was always told to just bring it back if I had any problems. After the 2 time I brought it back I had to have a male relative speak on my behalf to have them to work on my car for free. Thankfully it's been a few months and I've had no issues so far but even if I have any I will definitely be going somewhere else. Being a college student and my car being apart of my small rental business this was the most stressful situation. I had to keep the car off the rental platform for months and lost so much money in the process. Just imagine if I had put the car back on the platform before I discovered the issues, that would've been a lawsuit waiting to happen. read more

I went here because it was so close to my house, and my insurance company was connected to it. The front desk person was pretty much disgusted to deal with any person at 8am. When I dropped off my car I pointed out all the damage. Enterprise set me up with an old, smelly rental that had blown out speakers. Granted the rental car person was the nicest one there. After waiting 2 1/2 weeks to get my car fixed, I went to pick it up and pointed out all the scraped paint they missed. The employee was like, let me try something and grabs a buffing cream. I was like there's nothing to buff, there's no paint. Then it would take another week for them to simply put touch on paint on the areas. The service here is not very friendly, and on top of that, it is not very organized. No one likes to have car troubles and accidents, so I give these folks credit for having to deal with what are likely to be people at their less than best. However, I also know that in doing your job, you should do it to the best if your abilities and brush aside other drama from your life as best as possible. While this is not always easy, I can tell that here, it is usually not easy at all. I have been here several times for car-related-insurance-covered repairs and rentals. In fact, the people who work inside the office/ building are generally so far from the good 'face' of customer service that I try to avoid it at all costs. However, desperation led me to this shop. Shame on me for not learning from the prior few incidents and interactions. When I feel like what my insurance company did was my fault and that I have caused this insurance-affiliated business stress simply by showing up... That is a sign of nothing good in customer service. Try as I might to get out of there as quickly as possible, the folks here tend to be about the speed of molasses. Moreover, they do not keep open communication lines with the customers. This leads to more frustration and confusion for what is already a frustrating experience. Everyone knows this type of stuff takes time, but there is a better way to manage that time and those interactions than what happens here. I suppose for me, this review is to remind me to not go back- ever... I would like to personally thank Michael Singletarry and Kassa for making what was a traumatic experience for me a stress free and amazing one. Kassa provided excellent customer service by being caring and concerned about my situation having had an attempted theft of my car which is a Kia and thefts have been huge due to posting on u tube and tik tok. Being a senior citizen and needing my car to get to and from doctor's appointments and to work, yes I still work was so devastating and stressful. Her customer service and professionalism remains amazing. And, what can I say about Michael. He is amazing and wonderful and an outstanding mechanic. He is also so patient and considerate. He understood the stress and anxiety I was under and I must have called him at least five times a day but he never seemed impatient with me or tired of my calls. He constantly assured me that I was a priority and he would and was doing everything he could to get me back in my vehicle. Minor: This is the worst car repair location I've ever seen in my entire life. I had my car taken here for repairs through my insurance company USAA. Not only are they not diligent about calling the car owner or keeping the customers up-to-date on the progress of the car, they seem genuinely confused and lost when you call asking about updates to begin with and it takes them a very long time to look at your file and figure out what the status is. MAJOR: I picked up my car in the front end damage to the body had been completely repaired I paid my deductible and I left. Later that evening I discovered that the flat tire I had as a result of the initial accident had not been repaired. A flat tire on the front passenger side of the car that was there when the car arrived at the shop had been patched and filled a little bit with air I assume so that they could move the vehicle on their lot or into the garage for repairs but it was not replaced nor was the tire itself repaired there was a temporary Patch put on the tire. Obviously that's unacceptable that they let a customer leave in a flat tire in a vehicle that was not safe to be driving. Additionally they did not report the flat tire to my insurance company on their initial estimate report so my insurance company at first did not even believe me that the tire was flat when it showed up at the shop and they thought that I had made a flat tire after I picked it up. Trying to get caliber collision to explain to me why they didn't fix my flat tire was like pulling teeth. Eventually only because I left a negative review as a survey response from my insurance company the regional manager of caliber collision called me and looked at the file and could see from the intake photos clearly did the front passenger tire was flat when it showed up and I had to have him write a letter to my insurance company to prove that I wasn't lying because the imbeciles at this location apparently don't understand that flat tires need to be fixed as a result of accidents as well as body damage. Additionally they did not offer any kind of support or discount or do anything to make the situation right I had to go rent a car which I had to pay for upfront out-of-pocket until my insurance company received that letter from the regional manager to prove that I wasn't lying and then reimbursed me. My insurance company agreed to reimburse me but was trying to get caliber collision to pay for part of if not the entire rental cost because I had to take the car back in for tire repair after picking it up already. Caliber actually resisted at first and finally agreed to pay for part of the rental cost but only part of it because they didn't want to have to pay for days that my car sat on a lot at a different auto shop waiting to be worked on or waiting for a part to arrive that had been ordered and only pay for the days that I took the auto shop to complete my repairs. When you make a mistake like that you should own up to it and just pay for the cost that it's going to incur not try to be hyper specific and difficult when it was your fault in the first place. Disappointing and disorganized. The lot is so poorly organized 3 customers and myself had to keep playing musical chairs with our cars for ~ 15 minutes just to get seen. The office is quite dirty and seems to be poorly staffed (I was here yesterday in the early afternoon but was turned away because of insufficient staff). I thought it would be more convenient to use a shop in town, but I'll be going back to my VA shop for repairs and further service. read more

The service was great. Eddie greeted me when I entered with a smile. I appreciated his professionalism. Eddie offered me a drink of water while I waited for Tony to Complete the estimate. The repair was to my satisfaction. Tony reached out to Geico to resolve an issue I had with the deductible amount for the hit and run claim on my Convertible Mercedes. FYI, if you file a police report when you have a hit and run, the deductible is $250. You can file the hit and run online. I believe Tony is working on building a team. Forget the negative reviews and check them out for yourself. I do t micromanage people who do work for me because I don't want to rush them. I want it done right. Be patient. They have other cars ahead of you. They will call you and update you when it's necessary. I was late picking up my car on a Saturday, and Eddie, and Tony both waited patiently for me. This location is professional and our service advisor Michael Singletary was great and made sure our car was handled with care. The car looked great and was clean and looked brand new. However, when I turned it in to get serviced, my keyless entry worked on the vehicle. Because they removed the battery and serviced the car and reset codes. My key became deactivated. (I could not lock my car) Since I picked up my car on Friday, my car was unlocked all weekend long. This is the only little issue I had. Fortunately, this issue is under warranty. read more

I was scheduled to bring my car in on a Monday morning & pick it up on Thursday, but they didn't start working on my car until Wed. This is the worst customer service I've ever gotten. The person who answers the phone doesn't know how to fax or send an email. They don't check their emails when they've sent you documents that need to be returned. My car sat for a whole week waiting on me to sign a form that I had signed and sent back the same day I got it. They took a whole month to fix the car. Then returned it and the tire was slit. Then when they offered to tow the car back in and change the tire...no one knew who to take the tire out of the back of the car. You will absolutely regret it! This place has went beyond down hill.... I unfortunately decided to have Caliber Collision repair my vehicle after an accident. Being that I had used Caliber before (Years ago), I went out of my way to make sure my car went over to them with the expectation of transparency, integrity and honesty. Boy, was I wrong! I guess we will start with basics.... My accident took place on 11/4/2017 and it was estimated that my car would bread in 12 business days....to me that sounds reasonable. So, what's the issue? My car wasn't ready until 12/23/2017! Which brings me to my next issue, transparency. I attempted to call caliber to check the status of my car after day 15 and after dealing with one of the most rudest and unprofessional front desk assistants I have ever dealt with in my life, I was given an answer of, " I don't know, contact your insurance"... (as if their the ones fixing my car) and hung up on. Regrettably, I called my insurance company who of course refereed me back to the body shop. After attempting to contact them again continuously noticing my phone calls are being ignored ( wouldn't answering my number but answered when called from a different number) I decided to physically go to the location. Once arrived, I stated to the extremely rude front desk girl that I've called several times and I'm simply trying to obtain the status of my car. (Which at this time, I noticed that it was parked in the parking lot and had not been touched at all) and she simply pointed to the wall and said, " which ever is your insurance, go talk to them" I was then referred back to the body shop desk and a tech informed me that ," All the parts were not in" I simply asked, why was I given an eft. of 12 days. Which until this moment, hanse been answered. Anyways, days, weeks and even a month goes by with absolutely no contact from Caliber collision. Eventually, I attempt to make another call to find out the status of my car to have the phone picked up and hung up. I called back multiple times and the phone just rang. At this time, I decided to call my adjuster directly to tell her, I cannot get anyone on the phone at Collision for a status update. She states to me that she will call them on 3 way and what do you know, she picks up the phone on the first ring. My adjuster let's her know that she has be on 3-way and you can hear the disappointment/anger in her voice. However, I finally get the same generic answer of " were not sure yet" Finally, on December 23, 2017. I receive a phone call stating that my car is ready and what time can I come pick it up..As if anyone with a life is just sitting around doing nothing. The one good thing I will give them is I stated that I was out of town and couldn't pick up my car until 1/2/2018 and that said ok and I wasn't charged storage fees. However, that was short lived. Today I went to pick up my car and was poorly greeted by little miss angry pants. I informed her I was here to pick my car up . Without any energy or engagement she turns around grabs folder and says, sign this. I ask what it is and she mumbles, your charges. At this point, I'm just simple over it. I pay my fee, sign the papers and she simply puts the key on the desk and goes back to her day. I literally had to ask where my car was located and even that seem to inconvenience her. I was told in a condescending way, in the parking lot. At no time did anyone explain to me what was fixed on my car or ember have the courtesy to do a walk around with me. The short advice to the people: I wouldn't recommend taking your car here under any circumstance. Do your research. Remember, it's your money that's being spent. Spend it with a company that actually cares and tries to put consumer first. The short advice to business: it's really not hard to be honest or provide decent customer service. My car was stolen and smashed up pretty badly. My regular mechanic doesn't do body work so I picked Caliber mostly at random. It was the biggest mistake I made all year and I hope you can learn from me. They had it for a month, changed the date I'd get it 5 times, lied through their teeth, and hid from me. They never called me, even once. I had to constantly ask them what was going on, and then get lied to. I try not to be a complainer but I've never had a worse experience with a company in my life. Have literally anyone else in the world fix your car. Update: company replied to this comment to make it look like they cared about the problem, but after I emailed them they never replied. This review is for a repair made in summer 2015. Don't even think about taking your car to this location for repair. I mean...even if you live next door, drive far far away. I was rear ended by another car and their insurance uses this location. I live on the east side of the city and was told to go to that location for their rapid service. I scheduled my car for an estimate then was told at the location that the insurance adjuster was not available on that day so I had to leave and then return another day. I did so. I left my car. It was there and the other party had not submitted the requested photos so a couple days stretched into a week. I finally checked in with the adjuster and he said he thought the shop started working on the car. They had not. Then I was told that the part was ordered. I waited another week. I did not hear anything back. I called and was told the part was on back order. I finally heard from them and was told my car was ready. When I arrived I could tell that the repair was not done properly. I had agreed to an after market bumper because my car is old, a 2003 Honda Civic. Well...it did not fit and clearly was not attached properly. The nice woman staff person brought over the manager who literally pushed in the section that was sticking out and looked at me and said it was okay.....when he pushed in one section, another popped away from the car. I kid you not....he did this with a straight face. I then pointed out how he caused the other section to come off the car. He then said the after market part does not fit. (Of course it did not fit!) But they were trying to pass it off as it it had. He went inside to look up Honda parts. He never apologized. He barely said anything. I told the woman staff member that it was frustrating that this car passed through the auto body shop and the manager, and nobody was worried that this did not fit. Had anyone inspected the work for quality? I live east of the river and work in upper NW so it was hard to get to this location. I wondered aloud to her if all women are treated that way at the business. She apologized profusely. I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. The manger returned and told me that I could take my car while the part was ordered, and that when it arrived I could merely come it and wait while the repair was done. He said the old bumper would get popped off and a new one attached. So I took my car and waited to hear back. Finally after a series of emails and complaints to the insurance company, I received a call to bring the car back in. Don't forget, I was told initially that I could wait. When I spoke to them when the part was ready, I was told that it had to be left overnight so I needed to get yet another rental car. After two more days the car was repaired and I picked it up. All total this so-called 'rapid service' took 4-5 weeks, many emails, many phone calls, lots of time away from work, and frustrating conversations with the person who is apparently the manager. Do not trust them. They will lie, they do shoddy work, and they absolutely have no customer service skills. (The female with whom I worked.....I feel sorry for her. After getting into an accident, I had a caliber collision rep asses my car and give me an estimate. I was quoted 5-6 days and checked a provided box requesting for bi-weekly updates. The repair ended up taking 3 weeks and they didn't contact me a single time. I called caliber collision on four separate occasions times just to have them give me another number to call within their company every time. A number in which there was rarely an answer from. They didn't even transfer me to someone in their own office. Their poor time management in combination with poor customer service warrants a two star. If you value punctuality and communication, this is not the auto body shop for you. With that being said, the physical work on my vehicle was satisfactory and up to par with that of other functioning auto body shops EDIT: upon further inspection, the headlight they replaced wasn't fully sealed so there is now moisture and water in the headlight where as my other headlight ( the one not repaired by caliber collision) has no moisture in it.. There was also an uninstalled part sliding around in my back seat. I have dropped this review down to one star. Do better. read more

This is literally the worst repair shop I have ever been to. I went because I was getting repairs through my insurance for a brand new car after an accident. The repairs were supposed to take 1 month max. I did not get me car back for 5 months and when I got it back I had 3 lights on that did not go off and I took it back twice for 2 months and it still was not repaired correctly. A year later I had to take my 1 year old car to the dealership for repairs and was told that all of the issues with my car were directly caused by the incompetence of the mechanics at Caliber. Caliber also did not provide me with any reasons as to why it took so long to repair and why I had to come back twice. I will NEVER go back to this place and I would recommend that no one goes here for any issues with your car that you actually want fixed. read more

They clearly take no pride in their work--it's sloppy and half-a$$ed. I had to go through two rental vehicles because of this, not to mention go to another body shop to get my car completely fixed. To top it off, I am now getting emails from the Enterprise branch manager claiming I never paid my deposit or returned the car. False. I returned both vehicles directly to Caliber Collision. Caliber Collision claims they never received the car from me. Amazing. Did they steal the car? Cuz I sure don't have it. I went through this place because it is a Geico preferred shop--completely regret not checking out the reviews. They are also terrible about returning calls or even answering their phone during business hours. RUN AWAY. read more
