The day of Super Bowl someone hit and run me. I freaked and didn't know what to do because I had just gotten my car 3 months in and I drive a Mercedes so I know how expensive it is to fix. I looked up places and all the prices were just insane. I called Mercedes-Benz and they referred me to caliber collision, I had never heard of them this was my first time but, I trusted and it's the best decision I've ever made. Chelsea picked up the phone the first day I called, she's the most professional and sweetest girl there is as front desk. She helped me throughout the whole process, she heard me out and set me up to get my Mercedes fixed. Of course since it was a hit and run I worked with my insurance which was State Farm and they had a program which I could work with. I got a rental during the time of the absence of my car and when I got my car back I was the happiest client on earth. The plastic trim on the right front wheel well of my Mercedes GLS450 had come partially loose and was flapping as I drove; I feared it would blow off while driving on the highway and cause an accident. I took it to the Caliber Collision at 6409 Richmond Ave, Houston very near where I live. First, I have to commend the very welcoming receptionist, Krystan. When I came in and told her my problem, she actually came out to look at the car. She was very knowledgable and pointed out that, if it ripped off, there was a risk that it would be pulled under my car and cause damage to my car as well as agreeing that it was danger to others on the road. She immediately got a hold of the General Manager, Javier Blanco. He agreed with the risks and immediately took the car to the back to have the trim properly reaffixed. Then, much to my surprise, they charged nothing. I have used Caliber Collision before and have always been happy with both their work and the way I was treated. My MB S550 was extensively damaged in a hit-and-run accident and had to be repaired at a Caliber "luxury" location in San Antonio, TX. When I got my car back, it looked fantastic, but I noticed a few issues that lingered from the original repair (now back home in Houston). I spoke to the SA location and they communicated with this location in response. When I arrived at the Richmond Ave Caliber, the manager met with me and made sure everything was taken care of. Caliber arranged for a rental car while the work was done. I expected it to take a couple of days. It took less than a day, addressed correctly, at no cost to me, including the rental car -- all covered under Caliber's warranty for the original repair. I can say Caliber's network and warranty program works. This location is "Mercedes Certified" and it showed by the speed and competence in their work. I came to Caliber Collision to have an estimate on the cost of the repairs of my car. At Caliber Collision I was helped out by Freddy Portillo, the manager.The front passenger side was damaged: bumper, fender, headlight. I went to a few places asking for an estimate on the repair and the amount I had to pay was extremely hight. Freddy is the best. He helped me tremendously with the price, he did not overcharge me and he gave me for far the lowest rate out of all the shops I checked. I just recently entrusted "Sasha" my '05 Mercedes Benz to CCC to have repaired the passenger side mirror, and their team provided amazing service from the first call. Chelsey assisted not only with scheduling and the administrative portion but also provided some cost effective tips for dealing with the rental car company. Javier Blanco my service advisor updated me on when the parts were ready, educated me on how to save money on the service as well as correctly mounted my front plate that had become problematic. He took very good care of my car and made sure the job was done correctly. He made the effort to order the parts before the repairs and I left my car. Then when the car was ready he found a problem with the paint job on his final check. Instead of just telling me the repairs were ready, he pulled it back in and took extra time, four days as a matter of fact, making sure it was perfect. By far the best service. When I first took my car, the other caliber collisions didn't have any appointments to take me in that same day. When I spoke with Brandi, she made space to take me in and see my repairs and fix my vehicle. Brandi and Ethan were very helpful and very friendly. They kept me updated and answered all my questions. I had to leave on a business trip on 2/14 and they made my car a priority and had it ready that day by mid day (I had to drive to Memphis that night at 7pm). We worked with Jaime and he was professional, knowledgeable, honest and friendly. Covid lockdown delayed our repairs by nearly two months so we were prepared for some pushback to the quote or that we needed another quote, but Jaime stood by the original bid and even remembered us. The worst body shop I was ever referred to by Mercedes Benz of Sugar Land. Brought my car in for an estimate that I never even got. This was back in October 2017. Called to follow up a number of times until I gave up. This was over a three week plus period until I called Mercedes again in November for another shop they could recommend. They referred me to River Oaks Paint & Body Shop who were prompt ,professional and did an excellent job. This is the 2nd time I've had to use Caliber Collision on Kuykendahl in Spring. A deer did quite a bit of damage to my vehicle. They did a wonderful job of fixing my vehicle. Pedro was awesome. Caliber Collision @ Richmond Avenue. I have to say I live in Katy, TX, and I preferred to drive all the way to this location because of their people and service. My suv has a minor bumper hit, and it took them less than 24 hours to fix it. My car bumper looks like brand new, I am very happy with timing, service and with the overall process.
