Absolutely horrendous experience. Marcus the manger lacks accountability. Every inquiry is redirected to Omar (customer specialist). Omar is accommodating and easy to deal with and appears to be doing the best that he can, but it is pretty obvious he's overworked. The front desk (Brenda) is extremely passive aggressive. I was redirected or placed on hold on numerous occasions while I was in the midst of talking. Their online tracking system is not accurate. I kept being informed that there were "glitches in the system." As it is extremely difficult to speak to someone who can help keep you updated, you would think you can depend on the tracking system for updates. My estimated completion date changed at least 5 times. When I dropped off the car for repairs I mentioned that the parking sensors were not working and should be checked prior to commencing work. Well, they did not actually check the sensors until after all repairs were completed, 2 weeks later, and then discovered new sensors had to be ordered. Two sensors were ordered and supposedly when they went thru the recalibration process another sensor had to be ordered which added an additonal week for repairs. When I picked up my vehicle it was obvious that the passenger headlight was damaged but was not replaced or fixed as the light was barely on. I was not infomed of this during or after the repair process. So, I had to spend money, out of pocket, outside of my claim to remedy this. Overall, I would not recommend Caliber Collision. read more

They gave me brand new headlights!! That was awesome- although looing at my car, you can still tell a tad that the bumper is not placed on the car perfectly. My A/C is being looked at and I saw the collision techs at the A/C shop take note at the bumper. I can tell they know that my bumper has been replaced. I regret to say that my experience with this particular location for the past month has been quite frustrating. If you're considering bringing your car here, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. Despite making an appointment to drop off my car for an estimate and repair on a Friday at the end of June, things did not proceed as smoothly as promised. Initially, I was informed that the worst-case scenario for the car to be torn down and assessed would be the following Wednesday due to the Independence Day holiday on Tuesday. However, there were significant delays, and the actual teardown and estimation process did not occur until the subsequent Monday. To my disappointment, the necessary parts did not arrive until the Friday of the second week, resulting in a two-week waiting period. Communication was also lacking during the process. After being told that the car would likely be ready the following week after the parts came in, I heard nothing from them. It wasn't until I called on the following Monday that I was informed the work was nearly complete, pending a visit from a sensor specialist, who unfortunately wasn't on staff and had to be scheduled to come in. Finally, after almost a month of waiting, I received a call at 7:30 pm during the fourth week the car was there informing me that I could retrieve my car the next day. When I picked it up, I noticed that the work was messy and incomplete. The headlights were not properly installed and were literally popping out, compound residue was left on the car, and old pieces were found in the trunk. I had to return to the shop to get these issues fixed, which was unacceptable. Moreover, it was disappointing to hear excuses from the employee, Ruby, who blamed her absence and other factors for the delays and shoddy work. It's also concerning that they claimed to be Mercedes certified, yet the quality of the workmanship suggests otherwise. The lack of accountability from the management, exemplified by Javier's attempt to shift blame onto Ruby's pregnancy, was disheartening. This indicates a need for a complete management overhaul and a stronger commitment to customer satisfaction. On a positive note, Ruby was respectful and kind, even during moments of my frustration. However, that alone cannot compensate for the multitude of issues I encountered throughout the process. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this repair shop based on my experience. They do not value their customers' time, and the quality of workmanship and communication were both severely lacking. We've been waiting on our Lexus for over two months. Every week that it is due to be ready, they extend the date week after week after week. The Richmond Ave Mike location is extremely disorganized. They order parts but come in wrong need to reorder. Their initial estimates for repair were too low so they had to re-authorize with insurance which extends dates further. They have some 3rd party calibration service providers that don't show up when they're supposed to. It's just one excuse after another...not ever returning to Caliber because of this experience, just incompetent people running this business. And please stop with the automated voice recordings that's from Covid pandemic and all the excuses about supply chain delays...ridiculous! read more

What gives... I understand my fiance's car was being worked on while they were trying to switch management or build their reputation back, but the job done was poor. I mean first week technical school student work. Her CR-V was side swiped and their was damage to the right front bumper, rotor, axle, etc. Well, They worked on the car, and stated it was sent to another location for more work. 425 Bammel Road, Houston, TX 77073. Once the car was given back, it shook and she told Caliber collision to look at it again. When she got it back, it still shook, but not as bad. Weeks later, the bumper came unhinged. Got that fixed by Honda. Then 8 months later I am at the Honda dealership getting it looked at for the shaking and the following issues were pointed out to me. 1) they tightened the lug nuts so hard, it shaved off metal from the lugs 2) the rotor screws were never placed in the rotor, which explains the excessive wear to the rotor 3) the bolts on the caliper bracket were tightened over the torque specs 4)car needs alignment, but it was aligned 8 months ago by caliber? what?!~?!?! Honda of Frisco has resolved the shaking by installing the rotor screws. However, the rotor life has decreased significantly. I highly do not recommend caliber to work on anyone's car. When my porsche was back into, I opted out of caliber collision for my own choice of body shop (Stuarts paint and Body) amazing work there. If caliber wants to chat, please email me. I purchased my Mercedes GL550 from Mercedes of Sugar Land 6 years ago. It was a year-old trade-in that the previous owner had damaged on the tailgate by their overhead garage door. The dealer had send it to Caliber Collision for repairs before selling it to me. At that time, I didn't think the repair looked as good as it should, with a little orange peel and a small run in the paint. Not at all conspicuous, but less than a Mercedes standard. Recently, I noticed that there was rust coming through the paint, and that was shocking to me as my vehicle had excellent care and was garaged almost 100% of the time. The dealer asked me to take it back to Caliber. They told me they had just acquired the location back then, and had not made changes yet when the repair was done to fully implement their quality standards. They agreed to redo the repair, taking it to bare metal and properly priming and finishing it at no charge. The completed repair looks great! Given the chance to correct the problem from years ago, they did it as promised. I think there are many body shops that would not have corrected a problem from 6 years ago at no charge. The worst servicing experience I've ever had. Kept the vehicle for 2 weeks longer than they estimated. Multiple reps said they'd call back/follow up and never did. I was in the dark the whole time. Upon receiving my vehicle back I noticed the window wouldn't roll down from the drivers side panel, also the auxiliary cable wasn't working. I bought a new auxiliary cable which fixed the problem, so they must have pinched the cable. Not a big deal. Once I got my vehicle back I called in within 15 minutes to let them know of the issues. They told me I could bring it back in and they would fix it. Upon bringing it back in, Alex the general manager tried to explain to me that "there's no power running from the drivers side panel to the passenger door" as if that is my problem. All I know is, it was working before I dropped it off to caliber, and it wasn't working when I got it back. Now they're having me take it to a dealership to diagnose the issue. I have no clue what they will find. All I know is, it was working when I dropped it off, and it was broken when I picked it up. Alex, the GM took 0 responsibility. His exact words were "let me talk with Allstate and see if they want to pay for it" Where I come from, when the work is in your hands, you take responsibility for it. Poor leaders pass the buck. And Alex is a very poor leader. The lack of customer service with this whole experience has honestly been unreal. All I have to say is this location has incredible customer service. I got into an accident and had by car towed to Caliber. Although my car ultimately ended up being a total loss, Caliber was awesome every step of the way. They always answered the phone and called me back with updates when they said they would. It was a breath of fresh air compared to other car places I have dealt with. I want to give a special shout out to Ben. He was my assigned mechanic. Every time I would call he came to the phone and took the time to break down what was wrong with my car and answered all of my (many) questions. In December 2019, one month after I purchased my car I had an accident. The front passenger side was damaged: bumper, fender, headlight. I went to a few places asking for an estimate on the repair and the amount I had to pay was extremely high. I came to Caliber Collision to have an estimate on the cost of the repairs. At Caliber Collision I was helped out by Freddy Portillo, the manager. Freddy, has been incredibly nice and a blessing to have him help us out. On the first day we met to discuss the prices and cost of the repair he waited for me come by even though it was late and the shop had already closed. He was willing to stay later and kindly explained to me the situation of the vehicle, showed me on the car what had to be replaced as well as patiently answered all of my questions. As I only had liability insurance and had to pay out of pocket, Freddy helped me tremendously with the price, he did not overcharge me and he lowered the price as much as he could. Freddy also helped to have the repair done in a week and a half, which was a quick turnaround considering the damage the car had. This was a blessing to me and my family because during the holiday season we really needed the car. When I came to pick the car up, it looked just as it did when I bought it, I could not even tell that I had an accident. The team at Caliber Collision did such a great job and everything turned out better than I expected. Brought our vehicle here after being referred from the dealership following an accident. The repair was to replace the front bumper and a few things related to that area of the car. During this time we got a rental and were told the repair would only take two weeks. Three and a half weeks later we finally were able to pick up our repaired vehicle. Each time we were told the car would be ready we showed up and it wasn't ready. The management was rather bad a communicating and when informed that we were paying for the rental and not our insurance they didn't seem to care much. Then, several weeks after driving our car we noticed paint was coming off the repaired bumper. They hadn't done their job and we had to return the car to get it repaired. Of course when we came back to pick it up it wasn't ready on time. Caliber Collision will not get our business again and we will be telling people to avoid this company when asked. read more

I was sent to Caliber by my Insurance Company USAA for body work. I (unfortunately) had a false sense of Security that either USSA or Caliber had some idea of what was being repaired on my car & when it would be returned to me. I was told 10 days but didn't receive my BMW back for almost 3 wks. One of the excuses from Caliber was that they had sent it to the BMW dealership & dealership wouldn't return it to them. "Why" was my car sent to the BMW dealership? "What'" went wrong that caused my car to go to the dealership? (Remember just body work) "Why" wasn't I informed? I brought my car here for an estimate after an accident and made it clear that I wasn't sure where or if I would have the damage repaired. They called me relentlessly, trying to pursued me to let them fix the car even though I told them repeatedly that I wasn't interested. My insurance claim should have been settled immediately and a check on its way to me but it never came. Finally I called the insurance company who let me know that Caliber Collision set up a work order on my car for themselves, against my repeated statements, thus having my check sent to them. I was able to rectify the situation with the help of the insurance company but this is beyond unacceptable and probably illegal! It has also delayed the receipt of my check by weeks! Absolutely horrible. Brand new Mercedes taken to this location because they are "Mercedes certified." What a joke. They can't even put the car back together right. First time I got it back, the alignment was completely off, and the car had at least half a dozen scratches and dings it didn't have before. Mind you, this was an extremely minor parking lot accident; only a new headlight and paint/realign bumper and quarter panel. About as easy as it gets, yet it took two weeks and the repairs were absolutely awful. I sent it back to be fixed. We visited first and marked up the issues and scratches. They took another full week just to deliver it back even worse than the first time! This time the wheel well was flapping around, alignment is still off, the original scratches weren't addressed at all, and even MORE scratches! Sending back for a THIRD time. Avoid them at all costs! Had work done from an accident back in August-September 2020. The work included my radiator and lots of undercarriage. Had to send it back in early November because I could smell radiator fluid when I would drive my car. The process of trying to get it back was rocky- not because of this location, but because of a different location. That's another review in itself. The manager at Non-Drive was really nice and helpful and kept communication throughout the process. Now here is where the issue comes in. My battery was low, so it was replaced. We were not given the option to leave the battery as is and change on our own or pay out of pocket. It was charged to our insurance, which has now caused our insurance to go up because it looks as if we had two claims within a couple month's time. The next issue is the car was returned stating there are no leaks and everything is ok. Here it is now I have been having to put coolant in my car every few days, so obviously there is a leak somewhere. We were very pleased with the customer service but not so pleased with the service of the vehicle. I have had trouble with my vehicle since it was returned to me in September. The vehicle was just over a year old and in great condition. However, they marked much of the interior as worn and portions of the outside as being damaged. I was rear ended and took my car to Caliber collision as recommended. At first glance my car looked great. After inspecting it closer we found cracked bondo, missing bolts and screws that were cross threaded among other things. There was a screw left in the back seat and my car seats and interior were covered in bondo dust. Someone used a sheet metal screw to hold the trunk's panel in place. When I received my car I had to take it back to correct a new noise that wasn't there originally -- with the initial damage. On top of that I've been overcharged for my rental and it's a total cat and mouse game for the last couple of months for getting the difference, as promised by the manager, Jonatan, to refund. read more

I had to file a police report for things found in my trunk. When I called to talk with Carlos a message was left. He did not call back. After a week I called again and after holding for 20 minutes he came to the phone. He was extremely rude and implied that the items were mine (a 72 year old women). He was very defensive and downright condescending. I will not take my Mercedes there for repair again. Told him I would give a bad review. I have regrettably been dealing with wrecked cars, dings and dents ever since moving to Houston 15 years ago. Subsequently I have also been forced to deal with many collision repair shops throughout Harris County, safe to say at least a half a dozen. I have never had such a terrific experience from start to finish than Caliber Collision. Where do I begin? The entire process was seamless and professional from start to finish. They regularly texted me updates, called me, spoke to my insurance company on multiple occasions as well as arranged transportation for me. Hopefully my accident streak is over but should I ever need repairs again I will look no further than Caliber Collision. I took my 2015 Honda Civic EX 4door on September 1st, 2015. This location used to be Hanley Bros. because I took my 1999 Honda Accord here and they did a great job. So I gather this place still has some the same crew that works here. Anyways I notice this location inside has expanded and had two body shops too. When I first called to set up an appointment to drop my car in. Erica was very helpful. When I got there Erica was very nice and helpful with my insurance claim and she also called Enterprise Rent a Car to come pick me up. I also met up with Mr Duarte the service manager. I showed him the damage to my 2015 Honda Civic. He was helpful as in he explain the process in getting my 2015 Honda Civic fixed. Mr. Duarte has kept end me informed about my Honda by email. I picked up my 2015 Honda Civic on September 11th. I know it seems long time but they did a great job on my 2015 Honda Civic. They even explained to me what was done to my Honda and there was lifetime warranty. I really enjoy my experience here at Caliber Collision. read more

I recently took my Mercedes Benz to caliber collision to have the headlights swapped out. This required removal and reinstallation of the front bumper. The shopped performed the job on time and on schedule and the car looked so much better than before with the new headlights. Out of courtesy, they also touched up some small paint chips on the hood and reattached a side skirt that came loose. I received excellent service from the Ron Foster the service advisor. Worst experience ever. This is not a reputable certified Mercedes Benz repair shop. They had my car 2 months. They repaired the body work ok but damaged my convertible hard top and will not warranty the work performed. Currently my trunk latch is not operational. I have to open my trunk with the key. The key Fob does not open my trunk. Beware of using this company. They do not stand behind their work. All calls to follow up are not returned. read more
