He's in the military, and this is his only mode of transportation except for a motorcycle (not very practical in the middle of winter). He has leave that started two days ago, 30 January. Of course, another delay, on the 14th they said it wouldn't be ready until the 28th. So I call them on the 28th and I'm informed it wont be ready until today, the 1st of February (3 days into his leave period and no way to go on his planned vacation, with reservations). So today he receives a text msg saying it won't be ready until the 7th. They weren't even professional enough to call him. When I asked about a loaner car when I called on the 28th, because they have had his vehicle for going on 2 months, they tell me there is already a waiting list for loaners because they are so far behind. Just goes to show that you should shop around when getting your vehicle repaired. I would highly recommend a "mom-and-pop" shop over this extremely unprofessional, delinquent, customer last organization. I will NEVER give any dealership in Hampton Roads named "Casey" a penny of my money nor would I recommend anyone buy a car from them. I'm sure this attitude and unreliable service is a cancer at all of their locations.

I was nothing but kind and helpful to him so I was pretty upset when he laughed at me for thinking it's not my place to replace something he threw away. All it would have taken was an offer to replace one or honestly any accountability at all but Rick is not like that. Thankfully, the owner stepped in seeing Rick's awful work and made sure himself the job got done right. The owner seems like an honest guy when something isint right but Rick is not. Current: Awaiting feedback from establishment owner regarding taking my vehicle elsewhere to have the repair looked over, paint corrected to remove swirls and detailed to remove staining, to fix what was damaged by the shop and out of the scope of the original repair. Update: July 29th pickup. Issues under the hood appear to have been addressed. Missing screws were replaced, fan and airbox were attached. However, my car was now poorly washed, residue streaks running down the vinyl on my trunk, windshield, etc. from soap that was not rinsed off. For some reason my hood and the front quarter panels over the wheel wells had now been buffed and done in an extremely poor manner, the entire hood is covered in swirl marks as well as the quarter panels over my wheel wells. Interior gray trim and leather center console now have black stains from something being sprayed on them and sitting. Documentation does not have original intake miles when my car was dropped off on the 15th, when I asked what the miles were, I was directed to review the state inspection which occurred on the 22nd, a week after I dropped my vehicle off. Variance in miles after inspection was done and when my vehicle was picked up. Original post: My experience is still in progress for a Progressive insurance claim regarding hitting a deer and front end damage. Vehicle was dropped off on July 15th to have the condenser, front fascia and grille replaced. Repairs were completed and the vehicle was inspected on July 22nd. However, upon picking up my vehicle today, July 24nd it was sitting out front on display, windows down & covered in bird excrement. After the repairs had been completed? Why is my car still being driven if the repair is done? As well, no one walked me through the repair, only backed it up for me and told me the keys were in it. Upon inspecting it myself, I found improper screws, missing screws, my airbox was not properly attached, the condenser fan was not properly attached either. Vehicle was left pending another tear down and review.

All three items were completed, so this isn't a review claiming that nothing was done. My concern is with the quality of the service and the follow-up afterward. During the inspection, I was told my truck needed a new engine air filter. The problem is that I had recently installed a high-quality reusable K&N filter. That recommendation immediately made me question how carefully it had actually been inspected. During the oil change, I noticed I was being charged several dollars more per quart of oil than the nearby auto parts store charged. To their credit, after I questioned it, they adjusted the bill. However, I shouldn't have had to catch that myself. In addition, when I left the shop, the "Check Oil" maintenance reminder had not been reset. My biggest concern involved the windshield washer hose repair. I was originally charged a diagnostic fee for what turned out to be a straightforward repair. After I questioned it, the charge wasn't removed--it was simply reclassified as labor. Before leaving, I asked exactly what had been done to repair the hose. This is a known issue on my model truck, and simply reconnecting the hose often means it will separate again. A simple zip tie is a common preventive fix. I never received a clear explanation of what repair was actually performed. To be fair, I contacted the owner before posting this review. Ryan responded promptly to my first email, which I appreciated. I then sent a follow-up email on June 8 asking one straightforward question: "What work was performed regarding the windshield washer hose repair?" More than a month later, I still have not received a response. No repair shop is perfect, and I don't expect perfection. I do expect careful work, fair pricing, and clear communication when I ask reasonable questions. Unfortunately, too many small issues added up, and the lack of follow-up from the owner ultimately led to this rating. There are many repair shops in the area, and this experience didn't give me enough confidence to return.
