I wish there was a negative rating. I would never recommend this place to anyone- a complete nightmare from start to finish. The level of dishonesty and disceptation At Caliber Collision is truly appalling. From the moment I dropped off my car, it was clear they had zero interest in transparence or integrity. I was never informed about he final income, and despite their promise to fix my car it's now being totaled because of their complete lack of transparency. It's obvious they prey on customer's. The staff was unprofessional, dismissive and rude whenever I asked for clarifications---as if questioning them was a personal attack. They wasted my time, money, and trust, and I feel cheated and disrespected. If you value honesty, competence, and professionalism stay far, far away from this place. They are nothing but a scam disguised as a repair shop. Manager was fired this past week but that will not begin to fix their problems. USAA will hopefully be pulling all their contracts. They will give you dates and tell you it's "in paint". *One update I will give honest good reviews for their receptionist who was kind and attentive, but that's the only thing good about them.* read more

While the body and paint work done on my car were acceptable, they did extensive damage to the smaller fittings of my car. I wound up leaving with more problems than I had when I arrived. I would not recommend using this shoo. read more

It's sad my most recent experience with this company has been so disgusting it trumps any remotely positive feeling I could have. I will start with the only good and that would be the nice receptionist. She is very friendly and she takes her job serious. As for the gentlemen who handled my issue with the insurance company and decided to laugh and make snark remarks, this review is solely for you. I brought my car to this location because I had used it previously for an insurance claim. The most recent my insurance company came to tow my truck and the employee dragged my jeep across the ground messing with the oil pan and completely disconnecting my bumper from the car. My car was with them for 2 weeks and I got it back. Oil was leaking out of the car so bad the car was not driveable. It sat while I argued with insurance. Finally the man in question tells my agent a handful of lies and tries to pass blame from their lack of professionalism and job requirements. His demeanor and response was so horrific I chose to remove my car from their location and go somewhere else. My best advice is to go somewhere else! I recently had an amazing experience at Caliber Collision and would recommend it to anyone! I have USAA for car insurance and after my unfortunate car accident I went to their website to find an approved shop. I randomly chose Caliber Collision due to its proximity to my work even though there was several other shops in the area. DO NOT be like me and randomly pick a repair shop; please read my review completely and the countless other 5 star reviews. You will see that this is a top notch repair shop with professional staff and service. Brianna was my service advisor and she was AWESOME. She was very friendly and helpful from the minute I walked in the door until I picked my car up. I received daily updates on my car's status and the repairs were finished a week earlier than expected. When I received my vehicle it looked show room new and I could not be happier. I'm not sure if this is still Automotive Collision Technology or not? We just got our vehicle back from ACT. They do great work so they have quite a wait to get your vehicle fixed. With that, they persuaded us to send our vehicle to another location to be repaired which I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND! It still took a month to get the vehicle back, so be ready for that. The vehicle was NOT fixed the first time around either, which was really frustrating. And even though Glen Burnie location persuaded us to use the other location and that they would honor the warranty by the other repair place, they wanted to ship my vehicle BACK to the other repair shop for another round of repairs. VERY frustrating. AND today, what do I get in the mail? A ticket for running a toll from EZ PASS when YOU GUYS were trailering my vehicle and went through a toll! These are things you don't think about in the heat of the moment when the insurance company wants to know where you want your vehicle towed. Trying to find a good place to take your vehicle is tough. My insurance company gave me 2 choices and both had HORRIBLE yelp reviews. ACT had excellent reviews and if I had used Glen Burnie ACT, I would have been 5 star happy. But I didn't. And while the vehicle came back looking nearly perfect (I could see the front bumper was out of alignment just a smidge), it really did look beautiful and it is amazing what companies like this can do with a wrecked vehicle. read more

Worst Costumer Service EVER !!!!! I don't recommended. A total NIGHTMARE !!!!! Long story long; they told me to drop my car on Monday to start working right away in order to be done by Friday. I passed by same day I dropped my car (for difference circumstances) but they were closed and found out they did not work on my car no big deal, but to make it WORST the car was completely OPEN and accesible to anybody in the Main Street. They left no only my car open but also my husband's car (that was been repair at the time) was OPEN as well. They didn't check and they didn't care if something happened to the cars while the shop is close. We told them next morning and they didn't even apologize. About my car repair, They did a "okay"job on the repair (repair side looks good), However they pretended to give me my car with no power source at ALL in the lift-gate of my Minivan. I gave them a car that was able to lock (we even locked the car when it was left open in the parking lot) my car was able to close and open normally and they told me that unfortunately they will give me the car without the ability to luck, or even worst, to work in general because they couldn't repair it, & they didn't know what was the issue. Unbelievable, they blamed a company that repair my car 5yrs ago (which I never had problem before) telling me they did a poor job, but of course they have to blame somebody right! Little did they know that the door, once is replace have to be reprogrammed until we told them to do so (how did we know? we contacted the company that repaired our car years ago and they very nicely told us what to do), and even though they said they don't think that was the problem, they called a technician from the dealer and yes reprograming the door was exactly what my door need to work. To make things WORST, when they called me to tell me my car was ready to pick up & they said it was in the "cleaning department" ready to pick up in about 30min. I sure went and they told me the switch of my car wasn't repair even thought they put a new one and make me paid for it because they said it wasn't related with the accident (they didn't want the person that hit my car to pay for it) and once again they blamed the company that repair a while ago because of them my switch wasn't working. (BTW the switch stopped working after the accident). They are interested in making the money and see who will pay for it more than having a quality job/service and making the costumer happy. Anyway, I check out my car and when I get home I noticed the trunk of my car was COMPLETELY SOAK. I called them next morning and they seems surprise they said that the water came in when the headlight were pulled out and a rain passed and that my car wasn't the only one wet. "They shop vac for me". Did I said that my trunk had growing spores in it (which mean my car has been with water for a long time) it was unbelievable disgusting and very disrespectfully for them to give me a car like that. Ahhh !!! Please remember my car was in the cleaning department when they called me, and all the panels were full of grease and marks in it as well. In other words my car NEVER went to the cleaning area as they said. The story doesn't end yet. A day after started raining and water started coming through the lift door (the one they replace). I told them how disappointed I was for everything. Manager didn't even let me finished my story and very disrespectfully move away to try to see my car when I wasn't finished talking yet. Brianna did listen to me showing better manners than the manager. They look a it and found where the water was coming from one of the "hose" that connect the lift gate with the power source of the door but guess what they said.... they said "it wasn't their fault". They said they touch the top of that hose but they never touch the bottom of it (where the water was coming from). Did I mention the hose is about 8in long. Ahhhh & of course they remove the door and when the connected accidentally wasn't a change they mess up the connection/sealing of it. (Which is totally understandable if it happens) Ohhh but guess what ? Yes, they still blame the company that fix my car 5yrs ago. Honestly, Who are they trying to fool? So unprofessional to not even apologized for something that it can happen accidentally. If they would apologized my review will be so different but they didn't even care. Later that day, due to bad smell, I took out the trunk carpet (the padding) was still full of water and even the bottom metal frame have accumulation in it. I was even able to squeeze water out of the padding with my own hands but Guess what ? They said "I can come and wait an hr for them to do it or go to Walmart and buy shop vac and do it at home. Really !!!! Please THINK TWICE before you go to Collision Center in Crain Hwy. It was an awful experience for two weeks. A total NIGHTMARE !!!!! read more

When I went to pick up my vehicle after a small repair job to my fender, someone at the repair shop had broken a piece of the interior to my vehicle. They promised to "of course" fix the damage but after more than a month and still no resolution it is obvious they are not going to be repairing their mistake. read more

Everything went well. The time quoted for my repairs were estimated at a month. They were able to take care of the issue within two weeks. Picked my car up and she was washed and vacuumed. Everyone there was great. Crystal wonderful, Brianna wonderful, Shane thanks for the great job on my car. For the person who washed and vacuumed my car thank you. -TL:DR, they set back the completion date 4 times, adding 3 weeks, and were not punctual in informing me of these delays. I am beyond disappointed with Caliber Collision and I will NEVER be using them again. My car was given to them in the wee hours 8 February and they originally quoted me it would be ready on the 26. They then set back the completion date four times, the most recent quote is 16 march. The delays would have been acceptable, but they were all conveyed to me either the night before (late) or two days before, thoroughly screwing me and my plans. The worst part is, one of the delays was caused because they were test driving my car while a part was still "bad', so they had to replace the part. At least they offered to cover the cost of the rental car for the extra time. read more

My repair took awhile simply because it's never fast getting Land Rover parts but you guys always kept me in the loop. This was the worst experience ever!! I don't normally write reviews and it takes a lot for me to get upset. I brought my car in for repair. First day went okay. They gave me an estimate of the repair and said it would take two weeks to fix it. They said I will get a text that will inform me of the progress. About a 1.5 week later I got a text saying the repair is complete. I called that day and asked when I should get in. They said its still in repair and will take two more weeks to complete. What!?? They said the text messages are not accurate. On the first day, I asked them while fixing the rear end if they could fix the side of my car since it had a scratch and a dent. They said they would give me an estimate but never called me back to let me know. A week later, I asked about the price and they said $1200. I told them then do not fix the dent. But then they changed the story and said, it costs $1200 because it includes repairing the front bumper, which looked perfectly fine. They said it would cost $500 to repair the dent and since that was the resonable price, I told them to go ahead and fix it. So it took total 4 weeks to finish the repair....way past the time they promised. The day I got my car back, I noticed the dent wasn not fixed! I asked them why and they said I didn't want to get it repaird since it costs $1200. I was like what??!! Two hrs after I picked up the car, the battery died. I called them and they sent someone to jump start which worked at that time but few hrs later, my car completely died. I took it to the shop and they said the battery died completely and I had to get a new battery which costs about $180. My car was 2015 vw so my battery should've been good for few more years. So I called them this morning asking for the reimbursement and now they are denying that it is their fault and they are going to contact the insurance to pay for it. What??! I have never had this kind of service at any other car repair place before. I am just so upset that they responded that way instead of admitting their mistakes. The day my car died was my bday and I literally spent the whole day walking miles to get home (the car died at the shopping center) and fix the car. Horrible service!!! Do not go here!!! read more
