Worst service I've ever experienced, little to no communication that's cost me a lot of $ and time. I've been waiting to get my car back for a month now, my service advisor hasn't contacted me or responded until I got visibly frustrated with this situation. Staff is so rude and unhelpful when I've been trying to find information on the vehicle's status, I've been put on hold/hung up on multiple times, and it took 2 and a half weeks initially just to get a pickup date. Don't take your car here, if I could give y'all a 0 I would. Do better, I know your customers time doesn't matter to y'all but it should read more

When we took our SUV in for repairs, they estimated the repairs were going to take 3 to 4 weeks. But because of the lack of detail, the wrong parts were ordered multiple times. The repair took a total of 8 weeks costing me an extra $475.00 for the rental. I had to rent a SUV because my Mother in Law is in a wheel chair and so is my brother in law that has one leg that I have to transport from time to time. This is so unacceptable to me. And they have know how I felt and no one has contacted me. I understand that the supply chain is slow. However, if they would have ordered the correct parts it would not have costed me an extra $475.00 and would have been ready to go a little more than 4 weeks. Just like another reviewer says below, they blamed the wrong parts on the supplier and not themselves. This sounds like a recurring issue! The work done was satisfactory, except that we also were supposed to get a dent in the door fix that they never did. I have contacted our insurance company because they recommend this company. I have let our insurance company know that until their communication department and their attention to detail is corrected, I would never recommend them. I have emailed their company at communitymanager@calibercollision.com more than a week ago and I have not heard anything back from them. This company really needs to invest in a communication department. This is their standard response and I am not sure that anything ever gets taking care of. It is a way to say we are working on it and then doing nothing. Just like I said. They have an automated response and then will not answer when you email them. 10 days after giving them the information they requested and still nothing! 11 days after giving them the information they requested and still nothing! 12 days after giving them the information they requested and still nothing! 13 days after giving them the information they requested and still nothing! 14 days after giving them the information they requested and still nothing! 15 days after giving them the information they requested and still nothing! I even tried chatting with them yesterday and when I told them the problem, they said hold on while we look at the details. 10 minutes and they never came back. I left my car with Caliber Collision on Columbia to replace my windshield and the rock dent on the roof. When I went to pick my car up the windshield didn't fit, they had broken the cowl grille and not fixed it same with the molding, left a 3inch scratch in my paint, and got my whole interior filthy with black grease and white paint (from the roof repair) they worked on it a second time and still I have a raw glass windshield not sealed with proper parts and a lame attempt at covering the paint scratch with the wrong color. The car cover and interior cover for protection was not used. They took a beautiful car and made it look like trash, then said I had to take it because they don't have the equipment to fix it at their facility. Also made me pay $100. The manager wants me to take it to get interior exterior detailing done, pay the bill myself, send them the bill, then they'll reimburse me.......State Farm said do not give them anymore money or trust them. read more

Whatever you DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT send your car to get fixed here, unless you want to spend over double the amount it should cost. Listen to the other 1 star reviews! My husband sent his car in for hail damage and a broken windshield. They told him they would order all the parts before he brought his car in so that they'd have everything ready to go. LIES. He dropped it off and had ZERO communication after of any updates. He called 2 weeks in and would be put on hold and hung up on. He finally got a hold of someone who told him that the car would be done in another week and gave us a date. A week went by and the date came. We got a text saying the car would be ready that day. We called before we left to see if it was ready to be safe and they told us THEY STILL HAVENT GOTTEN THE WINDSHIELD IN YET!!! we thought y'all had ALLL the parts but no. Another lie. he told us the beginning of next week and at this point my husbands insurance wouldn't cover the rentals and it would start costing us 275 A DAY! We can't afford to be spending a crap ton of money on a rental, we just don't have that kind of money...that day comes and they said they were missing ANOTHER part and pushed the day to the next day, that day came and NOTHING. ANOTHER 275 pulled from our account we have spent now almost 1000 dollars in a rental PLUS gas and we STILL have to pay this shitty place 500...Y'all HAVE to do better. We should not have to pay for yalls obviously really shitty supplier to get their shit together and send parts that should have ALREADY been there BEFORE we dropped our car off...WASTING OUR MONEY AND TIME. To start this review I want everyone to know I don't hold any anger or resentment toward Caliber Collision @Columbia Ave. I think they could provide others with quality work in an efficient amount of time. But as for me, this was just not the case and I feel a need to warn others so they don't fall into the same issues I was faced with in relation to Caliber Collision @Columbia Ave. THE TLDR: They took about 6 weeks to finish work on my car which was on estimate supposed to only take an average of ¼ of that 6 weeks time. I also had to call them back constantly to get any sort of communication about the status of my car. For anyone who needs their car back quickly with consistent communication, I would say go elsewhere. So I needed body work done on a 2007 ford so as they do my insurance gave me a list of in-network places to use and I ended up going to Caliber Collision @Columbia Ave. This was partly because they not only promised a quicker turnaround than most other body shops around me but also said they would be able to start to work quicker than most of the other quotes I received in my area. I believed they were the right people for the job seeing as they were also a FORD RECOGNIZED NATIONAL BODY SHOP NETWORK....if only I knew. What began was a battle/nightmare of trying to get my car back from them for over a month! I gave them my car on November 16th and didn't get it back till December 20th...almost 6 weeks of waiting! Now, this may not be a problem for people who have ride alternatives but for people who can't afford a rental or have no other means of transportation 6 weeks with no car can be the difference between eating or not eating on any given month, especially in this day and age. The reason for this drastic wait according to Caliber Collision @Columbia Ave was the fault of their part supplier. More specifically, the car hood is what gave them the most trouble. After me having to bombard them with calls (which I will get into later), I got them to explain this to me and got them to further tell me that the hoods they keep receiving from the supplier were dented/banged up and they couldn't use any other supplier because they had to only buy within the bounds of the insurance company. Now, this may just be the industry and how things are done at any typical body shop but the part that gets me was that "I" the consumer was forced to pay the price because of this company's inability to find a supplier that would send them reliable parts. Something in which I didn't even get a say but was forced to wait on a supplier that I believed wasn't providing quality parts. Now for the last part I had a problem with, the overall lack of communication. I must preface the one saving grace of Caliber Collision @Columbia Ave. That would be Elizabeth and the customer-facing side of Caliber Collision @Columbia Ave. They were all very kind and helpful even through all this frustration and I was overall happy with them and their stellar customer service. Unfortunately, as everyone knows all good things must come to an end, and the drop of lack of communication from such a kind and caring customer service team came as a shock to me. I got a text message from them on Nov 21st (see attached) and didn't hear back from them till after I paid them on Dec 12th when I had to reach out to check up on the status of my own car in which I had no idea of the overall condition of! Past that I had to call the following 4-5 more times myself to repeatedly check on the status of the repairs, till finally, I think they picked up on my frustration lol and called me a few times for updates and then for final pick up on the 20th of Dec. Again I am not angry about this situation at all and understand that this may just be how places like this operate. But I felt as if others should be aware of what they are getting themselves into. I know tons of independent body shop workers who can provide cheaper, quicker, and overall better quality work. Caliber Collision even mentioned that the independent body shop guy I went with last time did an incredible job of fixing the body and painting the car. So if you can go with someone who is worth your hard-earned money. PS. was not sure if this is because Caliber Collision @Columbia Ave knew they didn't provide me with good service but they never gave me a carwise review link that they typically give after repairs are complete...so just a bit shady if you ask me. I recently had a minor accident with my 2021 BMW X5. Despite the negative reviews of your shop, and at State Farm's urging, I took the vehicle to your Franklin location for an estimate. The damage was on the tailgate, and the Service Advisor (SA) assured me that the repair would require replacing the tailgate with an original BMW part. I was given a written estimate to that extent. The following is a timeline of events: 6/4- I drop the vehicle at your location and receive a text from Carwise showing the exact same estimate I had seen in the store. 6/6, 12:16 pm- I receive an update from Carwise, with the estimate revised downward, and now choosing to pull, fill and paint the existing tailgate rather than replacing it. I call the SA immediately, but he does not call back. 6/6, 6:50pm- I receive a text from SA, telling me that the vehicle has already been painted and yet I've never received a call or been given an opportunity to understand why my vehicle has been patched rather than repaired as I requested. I make a call to the shop that isn't answered. 6/10- I make another call to the shop, then get a text from Carwise that I reply to, letting the local team know that I have concerns that need to be addressed. I talk to SA that evening when he finally calls me back and tell him that the bondo repair is not acceptable, was not authorized by me and is not what he told me he was going to do in the first place. He told me he'd have the Store Manager contact me. Since that time, my completion date was delayed 6 times. 6. The car repairs took 28 days. On the day of pickup, the repaired area was scratched and hazy, and the SM had to take it back to polish it out again. The Store Manager expressed regret that I wasn't called when the change to my estimate and scope of work was made, but that was the extent of the resolution. He states that the work was done to State Farms standards. They were completely unwilling to do the work that I requested, even if I paid the amount in excess of what State Farm offered to pay. I've contacted corporate 3 times, and they've never replied. This is not acceptable. It is my choice per state law where I take my car for repairs, and the extent of the repairs I get done. I chose your shop because your employee specifically assured me that they would replace the tailgate and that they would use a BMW part. At no time, until the work was completed, did anyone from Caliber reach out to me, or give me any opportunity to object to the body filler being used on my vehicle. It would seem that their only concern was to save State Farm a little bit of money and they've shown no concern for meeting my expectations. Stay very.....very far away from this company. I have been waiting to get a call back for 2 years on fixing an issue with my running boards. I have called multiple times and was always told I was going to be getting a call back. Never did then when I called last week they all of a sudden have them so we scheduled an appointment and when I showed up they never painted them. so now I have to wait even longer and hope they actually paint them so I can get them installed. I would highly recommend taking your car somewhere else. There were 3 massive complaints while I was there for 10 minutes. You can tell they do not care for there customer service at all. By far, the worst customer experience I have had with any auto repair service. I have worked with Caliber before in other states I've lived in and had a good experience, but this location is just awful to work with. Bad communication with my insurance company (I had to get involve with the claim 4-5 times), horrible timelines (they have moved back the completion date 5 times and now have had my car for over a month), no follow up (I had to repeated call them to get ETA) and no ability to actually tell me when I will get my car back. They focus on their process and process only...irrespective of customers asks, wants or needs. My car was vandalized and my insurance company lists this place as a favored shop for State Farm. The front passenger window had been broken out and had to be replaced. After I picked up my repaired car, I discovered I could not raise and lower the passenger window from my driver side controls. I called Caliber and suggested the malfunctioning passenger window was a result of the vandalism and still needed to be fixed, the woman at Caliber said it was not their responsibility! Seriously??? It worked BEFORE the break-in and now it doesn't work. I complained to State Farm and in the meantime, my mechanic at LexPro said he knew exactly what was wrong ....the replaced window has to be re-set (electronically). Since Caliber didn't have the knowledge to complete the repair on my car, I took my car to LexPro and he fixed the problem in 30 seconds!!!! I have complained to State Farm about their so-called Favored Shop status for this location of Caliber! Oh...and the woman at Caliber that took my call? She hung up on me when I asked what they planned to do about the non-functioning window !!! read more

In the midst of a pandemic, with a mask mandate in our county, most of the employees were NOT wearing masks. Bring in a high risk group, this totally turned me off. The repairs were done as promised and in a timely manner, but we'll be looking for another repair business in the future. read more
