All I can say is this place is number 1!! The best place in Elk Grove. I was helped through my whole process by JULIO and he is awesome at his job. He kept me updated on my vehicle's repairs, until the day it was ready to be picked up. Their quality work is excellent. They left my car super nice and I couldn't be more pleased and grateful. Customer service, repairs, communication and very helpful overall. These guys will get the job done and responsible with timing! read more

My car was repaired after being rear ended on Laguna Blvd. Caliber did the repair work in record time so I didn't have to rent a car for long. They were very professional and helpful. Ralph arranged my rental, took me there to pick up the rental and when my car was ready he once again came through with flying colors. I would recommend this repair shop to anyone and have. You can't find a more professional and qualified team in all of Elk Grove. read more

What's really sad about giving 1 star, is my car looks amazing! The guys in the body shop did an amazing job!! But, dealing with Don in the office was a complete nightmare from start to finish!! They had our car for 18 days for 15.7 man hours charged to our car!! He NEVER called with any updates!! The lack of customer service and professionalism was astounding!! Will never use Caliber Collision again after how horrible this was handled! read more

They just dropped my car off at the Ford Dealership without a word. Did not give them my name or number and did not tell me they were taking my car there in the first place. The only reason I knew my car was there was through my insurance. Very unprofessional. read more

Our car was stolen, and we retrieved it trashed! The Caliber Crew was incredible. What work of art.

My son's truck was jacked up! These guys were professional and courteous. The insurance company worked seamlessly with Caliber! Thanks so much! read more

I had my car towed into this facility, and from start to finish it was great! I never had to pick up the phone to find out what was going on! The manager Natalie was always so friendly and made me and my vehicle feel like we were top priority! My car was so clean and you couldn't even tell what happened! If I ever need anything again I will be returning! read more

STAY AWAY!!!! I was recommended to go here by my insurance, which I now see was a mistake. The shop originally quoted 3-5 days to complete the repair of my car, but it's been 6+ weeks and they have no estimate when it may be done. For the last 4 weeks they've been telling me "two more days", and now finally said "we don't know when it'll be done". They do not keep me updated as they promised, I've had to call them every day or two to find out what's going on. When I do call, I get a different excuse each day for why it's not ready on the date they promised - everything from "the dealer sent us the wrong parts" to "our technicians quit so we have nobody to work on your car". They refuse to let me see my car or the progress thus far, and some days the story changes from the previous - for example they told me on a Monday my car was being painted as we spoke and "looked great", but when I called that Friday (4 days later) I was told they'd lost their painter and had nobody to paint it. When I stopped by another day I found my car parked in the back parking lot, behind a dozen other cars, with the windows left open in the rain. When I complained about this to the shop, they told me "we don't have time to check on those things". While I was sitting in the waiting room one day I heard them telling the exact same story about my car (being sent the wrong parts) to another customer on the phone. Also as I was sitting there a customer came in who'd picked up his car the day before and had issues with the workmanship. He showed them where the door, hood, and fenders didn't line up, the colors didn't match from a distance, and the aftermarket plastic trim didn't fit properly. The shop staff and manager were both telling him "you've just got to expect these things after an accident, it's never going to be perfect but we at least made it better". While my car has been here, this particular shop lost their certification and my insurance (Geico) now will not send cars here anymore. I'm thinking they have a good reason! The bottom line, find someplace else if you want your car done right, or done at all. read more

The original repair was done by Cooks before it was bought by Caliber. The drivers door of my F150 had been forced open all the way to the front wheel. After repair, it still opened to where the front edge of the door hit the hinge. I brought it back and they attempted to fix it but after a few months the problem returned. By this time Cooks was bought by Caliber. I'm glad to say they finally fixed the problem without any argument. The repair is now 1st class but I think they should have offered some discount for the extra time I was without use of my truck. read more

SAVE YOURSELF HEARTACHE AND SUFFERING. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I wish I had researched this co. little more before going with the "shop" that my insurance co. recommended. (I will be calling them next). They told me it would take a max 3 days (it was a really small bumper paint scrap - no body work) and when they failing to call me late on day 3. I called to check in. They told me they "were unhappy with the paint and needed another 4 days". I'm like WTF? They also called me 3 times - always the estimate higher = WTF? If you read the other low ratings; you'll see a consistent story. read more

I recently ran over an item on the freeway and came in and spoke with Jordan he was friendly from the start very professional I explained to him what happened and was. It sure if I was going with my insurance company or pay for it myself there was some damage to my front bumper and I was concerned about the scratches. Jordan took some photos and then after that he said if it was ok he could buff over the scratches and see what might just be superficial I of course said yea I went inside and enjoyed some popcorn and had a nice conversation with Vanessa and in about 5 minutes Jordan came to grab me and to my surprise about 90% of the marks were gone. Once I figure out what my next step is I will be bringing my car and will recommend anyone there ! read more

Everything to do with COVID sucks but at least I didn't have to wait forever to get my car back with Caliber. They were fast and friendly. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks again! read more

Because that $100 gift card was never received in the mail, here goes a negative review. LYING SACKS OF SH*T. (GO TO COOKS RIGHT ACROSS FROM THEM THEY WILL FIX YOUR CAR RIGHT) TLDR; BAD WORKMANSHIP QUALITY AND LIARS THAT WILL ABUSE YOUR CAR. Never coming back here ever again. Work took 3 weeks to begin with, sat there another week to fix stuff that was supposed to fixed the first time. Still not perfect. YOU'RE A BODY SHOP, I EXPECT TOP NOTCH WORK WHEN STUFF IS DONE. NOT SUB PAR WORK that a GM inspector wouldn't even pass. Panel gaps are worse, bumper isn't aligned right, hood gap has gotten significantly worse. Worse yet, I left my car with 79% battery charge (Its an Electric Vehicle), the first time I got the car after 3 weeks the battery was sitting at 77% okay that's fine, the next time, its sitting at 50% after 14 miles driven. NO ONE COULD GIVE ME A STRAIGHT UP ANSWER WHY THAT HAPPENED. The only answer is that they thrashed my car around the block and down the freeway from Elk Grove Blvd to Grant Line would explain a battery drop that drastic. I wanted an apology and I couldn't even get that. Excuse after excuse I wanted to punch the manager for that. 400 lb ft of torque in a car that weighs nothing, somebody is going to abuse it. Trying to compensate me with a wash and detail at first? YEAH, I DON'T TRUST YOU GUYS ANYMORE. AND WHERE'S THAT $100 VISA GIFT CARD FOR MY TROUBLE? NON-EXISTENT AND AT THE STORE STILL. read more

I did my research before taking my car to Caliber Collision in Elk Grove. I checked out a few places before going to Caliber. The people in the office were friendly and knowledgeable. I had $700 worth of damage, a pretty easy fix. I picked my car up in the evening and inspected where the damage was, all was well. I drove the car home an put it in the garage. The car wasn't driven for close to a week. When I took it out of the garage, there was a dent in the passengers side, that I don't recall ever being there. I took it back to the shop, and the shop manager told me the dent was in the picture. I then called my insurance co. they also said they saw a dent in the photograph taking by the adjuster when he inspected my car. I later looked at the documentation I received from Caliber when they initially inspected my car. The little diagram that they use to mark defects didn't have the dent on it I'm speaking of. It did have another previous scrape marked on it, that was barely noticeable. I then contacted my insurance company and asked for the photograps to be sent to me. I inspected the photos and which had no dents in it. I then asked the shop manager about the photos, which were never provided to me. Caliber sent to dent specialists out to look at my car, both of them said the dent was too deep and they could not fix it. After that I never received any calls back from Caliber. The shop manager told me he would never tell me that they would not fix it, but he never did make any attempts to contact me to have my car fixed. The last conversation I had with him he said he would have to talk to his boss. I never heard from him again. I took my car to the dealer to have it inspected. They took it to one of their preferred shops. $1700 in damage. My insurance company has decided to take some responsibility here. We are taking the car to Cooks collision on Fulton today. Time will tell. I believe Caliber does good work. The only real problem here was the double talk, confusion and a lack of clarity. It makes it hard to trust them no matter how good the work is. read more

Do NOT go to this place. These guys are incompetent. Said they had to order a part from the East Coast and after weeks went by I called to check on the part and they never sent I. The request. read more

I was very happy with my experience here. They were very communicative and worked within my timeline returning my car when they said they would. It was more expensive than the original estimate but they warned me there was a 'hidden' part that they might have to repair once they got started. They found it was broken and showed me the damage that caused it to go over the original estimate. Matt was really friendly and helpful. read more

The search is over to find the best, and most honest auto repair shop. The staff was professional and courteous. The estimate was based on what I actually needed. The price very reasonable. Randy Jones saw to it that every detail was perfect, and completed on time, with his manager Zach Taylor overseeing. When I picked my car up, it was not only washed and vacuumed, the tires were shiny and looked like new. It is hard to find this type of operation these days. I would give 10 stars if I could, and will recommend them to friends and family. Joe and Cheryl read more

I will never take my vehicles anywhere else but Elk Grove Caliber Collision. I have been there twice now with my pearl white Lexus and both times I received unparalleled customer service. Both times, Kim took care of me and went above and beyond to keep me updated on the status of my vehicle. Kim even went so far as to fax some important docs I left in my vehicle to my meeting location in time for my appointment. Thank you so much Kim and Elk Grove Caliber Collision! read more

Very good workmanship and great service! They went above and beyond to take care of us and our car.

Caliber Collision in Elk Grove has now fixed my vehicle twice in 3 months. I could not be happier with the service I received. I originally took my car to Cook's for an estimate and I saw how rude they were to not only me but other customers I started to wonder. Then when they couldn't complete a basic estimate within a week I knew I needed to shop around. In shopping around I ended up calling Caliber Collision and spoke to Kim. I immediately knew the experience would be different. Not just different from Cook's but different from any other business experience I had had in recent years. Hands down I knew it would be Caliber Collision working on my vehicle. Every interaction with the staff was top notch, communication was prompt and accurate, the repair work was fantastic. I was never made a promise that wasn't delivered. Kim even called me from her personal cell phone when she was supposed to be off for the afternoon to update me on my vehicle status. In fact I was asked on more than one occasion what would work best for me. Imagine such a thing...I matter. My car was detailed inside and out upon delivery and when I picked up my car, Kim noticed my windshield wiper fluid was low (not related to the accident) and topped it off for me! Kim was my main contact and fantastic in every way. However, everyone I dealt with in the office was super friendly and professional. These people have customer service down to a science. Oh, and they guarantee their work for life, so you know that is excellent. read more

Slow, expensive, rude, and morally corrupt. I took my car there recently for an estimate to repair minor fender damage. The other persons insurance was paying me, so as far as Caliber was concerned it was a cash deal. They told me the estimate would take 15-20 minutes. It took 45. I had a fender that was broken thru and thru. I told them I wanted it replaced, not repaired (my money, I should be able to do that). He gave me an estimate for repair. When I asked for a new estimate with replaced, he told me they could not do that because it was repairable. He even told me it was a matter for the insurance company, and I had no say in it (remember I was paying cash. The insurance company has no interest). And he was downright rude and condescending in telling me this. Unfortunately, I know the reason he won't replace is they make more money off of the labor to repair. If they replace, they have to buy the piece and have very little labor. The mark up on purchase is less than the labor. So they won't do what the customer wants, they only work to maximize their own profit. Fwiw, they were $300 more than a nearby competitor who was happy to work with me and replace the fender. No way I can endorse or support caliber. They were slow, rude, and corrupt. read more

These people are horrible. We were recommended to cAliber Collision by our insurance company. After taking the car to them we were told it would take a 2-4 weeks to have the repairs done because they were so busy. After not hearing from them my husband had to call to find out the status - they then upped the estimate, then the estimate came down. We were told they would call us back after talking to the insurance company, that never happened we had to call them back to find out what the status was. This went on for several weeks of them telling us they would call us to see when the repairs would be done, every time my husband had to call them because we received no communication. Three times we were going to pick up the car because they said it would be ready by a certain time and all three times we were told when we called to say we were on the way, it was not ready yet. No one bothered to let us know anything unless we called them. When I finally was able to pick up the car and told them how bothered I was by the lack of communication and the two weeks of delay from the original time frame the response was " but we did a good job". Absolutely no concern for customer service. Take your car somewhere else. read more

So my insurance company has a guaranteed repair contract with this company. So I figured great go with them right? Well after being lied to about something minor like cleaning the damaged area. We had hit a chunk of metal and it tore up and out my transmission. So needless to say if you're replacing my transmission and other engine related issues dealing with someone who is honest matters a lot! I looked at the yelp reviews and realized if it's a body repair they are great if it's anything mechanical run!! So that's exactly what I did! My husband and I decided that since Caliber wasn't being honest with us regarding minor issues trusting them to repair something major would be a really bad idea. Just getting my vehicle switched over to another shop was difficult because I even got a call from their insurance liaison to explain to me how I couldn't have understood what was explained to me by the shops representative. Don't know about you but I love being told that I'm dumb. That was the straw that broke the camels back and I got my vehicle the heck out of their and am so thankful for it!! read more

Ive used them twice for bumper replacement, scratches, dents, body damage repair. Both experiences were the BEST! My car looked like it was brand new both times, they were on time, professional, accurate in estimating costs, easy to work with, and working with Brook Haungs was outstanding! I will never go anywhere else! read more

Horrible just horrible. I took my car in to get fixed after having been involved in two separate accidents in a short period of time. When I got my car back the work was okay, there were places where they had done the bare minimum amount of work required to get the job done. I thought nothing of it and happily took my car home, that's when the problems started, I don noticed that something was off about my headlights, they weren't aligned properly, and on further inspection the whole front end was poorly aligned. I took my car back and John assured me he would fix it, a week later I got my car back and he stated that I was wrong the car was in perfect condition. I took pictures of similar cars and showed them to him he still refused to acknowledge that he was wrong. I eventually had to go over him to caliber management and even now my car isn't back to original shape. The shoddy repair is now more bearable than dealing with the stubborn people that work here, but I'm still not satisfied. If you value honesty, trustworthiness, and a good repair I would steer clear of this place, they might be nice but the second something goes wrong.....they won't waste a second to sweep your complaints under the rug. read more

Dan Miller and his team at Caliber exceeded my expectations. At first, they did their best to maintain the original integrity of the BMW factory paint on my car. However, in the end, a complete repaint was needed. From a very cirtical customer's viewpoint, the finished product looks like the original factory's work. I would recommend Dan and his team based on their outstanding work and service. read more

Kevin, the one that works with Farmer's Insurance/ 21st century customers lol, did an OUTSTANDING job!! I would without a doubt, take my car back to Caliber in Elk Grove. When I saw my car, I was so pleased and happy that I could not help but grin ear to ear. Caliber Collision was recommended by my insurance company I've used them before and had good luck but this tine it was a different experience. My scheduled appointment was for 9:99am I arrived st 8:50 and had to wait until 9:45am as they were have a regularly scheduled staff meeting. After the technician reviewed the damage I made an appointment to get repairs done. I arrive at the scheduled time 8:15 and have to wait a half hour no problem. Tech says he will up date me about the repairs by the end of the day shop closes at 5:00. No call I call and I'm told I have wait a full 24 hours to get an update. So I give the 2 days no call I call and the don't know what needs replacing - thinking repairs haven't started. Wait till the end of the week and I'm told that repairs are going to done late Monday or early Tuesday. Monday I call and they don't have a status the will call me in 30-45 minutes no call so I call again and it's staff meeting time again. Finally get a call back and they tell me it will be another 3 days and the day the promise to have it ready for me is a holiday and the will be closed. I'm worried that my car won't be finished in the near future. Customer service is at a all time low. So much for getting the rhythm of life back in timely manner. read more
