I recently had some unexpected damage to my bumper--possibly a hit-and-run in a parking lot--and needed it replaced and repainted. I went through my insurance's preferred shop, Caliber Collision, and from start to finish, their customer service was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, Emmanuel, the service advisor, was kind, attentive, and informative. He clearly communicated the timeline and process, which made me feel at ease. When it came time to pick up my car, however, the paint on the new bumper was noticeably off--it was a completely different shade of white and didn't match the rest of the car at all. To their credit, Emmanuel and the general manager, David, immediately acknowledged the issue. They explained the mismatch likely happened because my vehicle had been previously repainted, which made color matching more complex. Despite my insurance declining to cover the repaint, Caliber stepped up and told me they would make it right--at no additional cost to me. Emmanuel kept me informed the entire time, and we scheduled a time to bring the vehicle back in. They took special care with the new paint, using a blend technique to get the best match possible given the different tones on the car. The work took about three days, exactly as promised. When I picked up the vehicle, I was honestly blown away--the paint job looked fantastic. The match was pretty perfect, and it's clear that their painter, Freddie, is truly talented. Huge thanks also to David for his professionalism and commitment to quality, and to Emmanuel for keeping me in the loop and advocating for the best outcome. I arrive 15 minutes early and am forced to sit in the lobby alone for another 40 minutes---your adjustor is finishing up' hell be with you shortly...another 15 minutes go by and even the receptionist gets up and leaves 4 times!!! I then announced I left my phone in the car, drove off and gave USAA an ear full. I demanded the name of another shoppe and the difference was night & day. The moment I walked in, I was greeted and given TWO bottles of water. The USAA adjustor came out, looked at my six inch CAR SCAR and asked me if I wanted to see a MAJIC TRICK? Five stars is too few. I went in with a relatively minor rear bumper ding in my 25-year old car. David Tosh's shop has been our go-to repair shop for over 15 years. They always do exceptional work. My rear bumper was restored to perfection.....and the car was beautifully detailed even down to polishing the headlights and taillights. The car looks better than it did fresh off the showroom floor. When I went into go pick up the vehicle, I was thrown another price and had to front my deductible as well which I was told was waived at the initial drop off. I have receipts and everything of this place cheating me out. Don't recommend these people to the worst of the worsts. I had moved down to SoCal while my car was in the shop and Garret was very flexible with helping me getting my car back and got it to me much quicker than I expected! I had gotten a rental car to pick up my car and the front desk even offered to let me drop my rental car there and mark it as dropped off to have it picked up by them later as a special contact deal they have with rental companies. I've been to dozen shops over the years and have met some petty decent people. But, every blue moon you come across someone that is so special that you have to acknowledge them to the universe. Those two people are Victor and the manager David from Caliber Collision. I was so frustrated with the Toyota Dealership in Elk Grove as they continued to charge me for work I should not have had to pay for. They left my brand new car front end a mess and barely hanging on. I shared my frustration and financial concern with Victor and David. They listened to me and tried to set my mind at ease. They told me they would do their best to put my front end back on my car and attempt to secure it so it no longer hangs on pins and needles. I was extremely nervous as I could only imagine how expensive it was going to be. The next day I came by to pick my car up. They explained in detail what they did and even how they had to melt some of the clips to make the front reflector strip secure. They put a great deal of time and effort into it. When I ask how much this was going to cost me, they said nothing! What!!!!!! Victor explained to David, the manager the hell I went through at Toyota and told me they just wanted to show a little compassion for all the trouble I had gone through. I swear I felt like balling like a baby right there. Who ever heard of such generosity and human compassion. I'm a customer for life and will never ever forget how these two men touched me. I've been a cop for 28 years and tried my best to treat everyone I encountered with respect and dignity'. Woah. Received my quote today and their system would not text the code to be able to access it. Tried a dozen times, finally called the phone number on the text and Roxanna at Caliber answered. Immediately placed on hold (not a big deal), when she came back on was adamant I didn't have an estimate or quote by my last name, I finally said can you look by my vin, she said "what's the last 6" I give that to her and she starts going about how I'm wrong and it's an online estimate, I explain the challenge and said I can't even access it to know how much it is, she says "$2050" I said can you email it to me "no, it won't let me" I said then how can I go with you all if I can't even see the estimate she says "i don't know" with a total attitude. In the end I just thank her for her help. She was argumentative, incredibly rude, and unhelpful. And there is no way in hell I'll get the work done there. If their greeter is that rude I can't imagine the staff. I'll pay a little more and go to Kniesels. I hope they pull the call recording, she was awful. read more

This is by far the best service I have encountered since we have moved out to Elk Grove. My car was hit, I contacted several other places prior to contacting Caliber Collision just to be told that they could not schedule me to come in for months out. When I contacted Caliber Collision they had me come in within a few days to evaluate the cost/repairs needed for my vehicle, right away they ordered all the parts I would need and kept me updated the entire time. After all the parts were received they repaired my car within 3 days and did an amazing job. They still follow up with me just to make sure everything is going well with my vehicle. :) I would 100% recommend this business/location (Iron Rock Way), they are professional, have excellent customer service skills ( they treated me like I was family) and their communication skills are the best! I was referred to use this company for an insurance claim . I am not sure who to blame but I will be writing a review for both . Between the insurance company and caliber on who does what on cars , I was told they work on Volvo's at their Elk Grove location . The service center even asked me if I had a hybrid because they don't work on those and I replied no. At around 830am on the day to take my vehicle in ( I was on the way already) I received a voicemail saying they are not certified to work on my car and I WOULD have to take it MYSELF to their Roseville location . I was like wait whose fault ? I am a busy mom of 5 , business owner , and full time teacher !!! I do not have time to play the drop off game ! I called Volvo to help because I LOVE their service department Matt is amazing ! Yet they do not do body work . Now Calibor's waiting areas was nice and bathrooms were clean, as well as the receptionist in Roseville but some kind of acclimation should of been had . The Elk Grove location should of drove the car out to their certified location themselves ! Then I had to wait for 15 minutes because Enterprise is 15-20 minutes away to come get me .. Yet the Roseville location did keep me updated while I was there and were friendly . Either way someone should of noticed the car and who is certified to work on it read more

I am so lucky to have found a spot I trust and that takes care of you as a person (and not just a customer). That's why I continue to go to Caliber. My last 5 years I have been in theee car crashes. The results rang from minor body work to full on totalling of my car (none of them were mu fault). The building is clean and well maintained. The two ladies at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful and the man that helped me was very nice and informative. With in moments I was done and ready to pick up my rental. They walked me over to Enterprise and made sure I was I got what I needed. Honestly I did not know how fast they would have it out. Not only did he call me a couple more times to let me know what was going on but he exceed my expectations of communication by explaining the procedure in detail. I felt in the "loop" and never had to guess what was going on, which is very nice. I picked up my car and was on my way. I nor my friends could tell that my car was ever in any kind of accident. my car had some door damage that broke the lower hinge. I took it in on September 9, 2022. I have not gotten my car back yet. It has been over 3 months now. They have extended my completion date too many times to count. The representative Ralph does not provide status unless I call. I have been getting text messages telling me it's delayed repeatedly, with no call to explain. They do not order parts up front. Every time they took something apart another part is needed which takes yet more time. I have requested a manager to call me, and get no response. I believe it's a scam to milk the insurance company if everything they can get. it started around $4000 damage to nearly $20,000. Supposed to be putting my car back together this week and possibly get it Friday. I sure hope so. They had the car looking like it was in the junk yard. Filth inside the car and it had just been detailed prior to accident. I am giving 1 star because there is not a zero. Not recommendbig this place to anyone. read more

After almost a month of waiting, received their car and it was completely botched. I went to this Caliber Collision by word of mouth. I Had an 8 am appointment for damage assessment. No one was at the counter when I waked in at 7:55. Eventually someone asked how they could help me. I said I had an appointment and the staff member seemed surprised, she asked my name and handed me a paper to fill out. Their 8:15 appointment showed up and I was still waiting. This office seemed unorganized and chaotic. The parking lot is cramped and I was almost hit by another driver when I was leaving. Plastic pieces from broken vehicles littered the lot and I was concerned for a puncture. I threw a screw in the bushes that was right next to my tire after I parked. Around 8:25am, I was finally talking to someone about my damages. Photos were taken and I was asked if I would like to wait a half hour to receive my estimate or I could get it by email today. I chose email and verified my email was correct, I had already received email from them as well. At this point, I still have no estimate a day later and I feel like my time was wasted. I am feeling nervous to use this service on my new car that was damaged by another driver and will likely go elsewhere. read more
