I got my car back with extra damage and malfunctioning ECU that literally shut my car down as I was driving. Staff are unprofessional, rude and childish. After repairing my vehicle AGAIN to fix their own damages they asked me to sign off on said repairs. They attempted to bill my insurance company again for this as part of the original claim. I will be visiting my dealer for an inspection and informing my insurance company of their practices. They don't seem to think their customers are educated or capable of critical thought. Very simple review, we told them when we came in prior to work beginning that a 3rd party was going to pay for the work and damage being repaired on our auto, in fact, we told them that 3 times and confirmed it would be ok. They said yes, no problem. Well..... our car was ready today and guess what, no 3rd party payments. What? I asked to speak to a manager, who said the same thing. I asked why they told me they would accept payment from the person who caused the damage in the first place, and they said that we should not have been told that. I said great, how do I get my car now that you've said you would accept it, now you get to hold me hostage until we get a check, await clearing, and then pay you directly, another week without a car? What a jerk move from a manager of all people. Someone at corporate please demote this guy, causing you problems. Sad to lie and prey on people that way. We would have never left our car if we knew this in advance and you know it, that is why we confirmed with your office on 3 occasions. We could have, and would have, made arrangements to obtain payment in advance from the 3rd party prior to even having the work done if that was the case. *** UPDATE: Yes, believe this, we actually had the 3rd party paying offer to bring CASH up to the shop for payment, and they refused! Who refuses CASH? Maybe they want to pay for a rental until they decide to accept payment. read more

I will never go to this place again. I was refer to this place by my insurance and I was happy with services even with few cliches little stress. My car took about 10 days to get it done. But today I am really angry for their payment service/ office manager. They made mistake regarding final payment and was going to me for collect. My wife's car was sent there for repairs and took 3months on top the fact that they disnt pay attention to the axel, the tire, a pullie on the motor and not doing a thorough job which could have resulted in a accident or worse. My car was broken into and the rear side passenger window was smashed. A friend recommended this Caliber Collision. The evaluation and estimate did not take long. Their estimate was cheaper than Safelite's estimate, so I decided to have them fix my window. The amount of time to fix and the cost were as promised. When I picked up my car, the window looked like brand new. I received professional and cordial service. I felt welcome by Arlynne at the front desk as soon as I walked in, and felt appreciated as a customer when I check out. I was told to take it to Caliber Collision to get repair from the other person's insurance after I was re ended. When I called to see when to take my car in, they did not give me the address. So I checked the internet for the address. I read the bad reviews on yelp. I told the front counter person when I arrived that she did not give me the address and she said it was her first week and forgot to ask me if I knew where they were. I appreciated her telling me she was new. I was given an estimate of how much had to be done by first inspection. I told them I knew that they would not know the extent until they took the rear bumper off. But even with the extra work they found after taking the bumper off they still got it done by the time they had said they would . It looks great now. I was also told that they gave a LIFETIME warranty on their work. That makes me feel very good. read more

Caliber is not a good shop. I just called USAA for them to get refund on the job you claimed you did. You are going to be inspected. People will find out you are a bad shop. I still have the car you messed up on. I will show them you painted over dirt and rock chip that got worse after painting over it. I will cut off my ties with USAA If they don't stop referring to this unqualified shop. read more

My daughter was rear ended last week. Damage to the left rear bumper and tail light, additionally, the rocker molding also fell off. Long story short, Geico was ok with repairing the bumper and tail light but balked at picking up the repair for the rocker molding. No amount of arguing shifted Geico's position, and they tried to imply that it was Caliber's work that informed their refusal. A long call with Maria Green the rep at Caliber yesterday, resulted in the rocker molding being taken care of by Caliber. Why you may ask? Because Caliber takes care of their customers, and Maria Green knows how to take customer support to the highest level, even after dealing on the phone with my cranky-old self. Ran over something on the freeway and was recommended this location from friends I wasn't sure on if I should go with insurance or how to handle this, I showed up and walked in not knowing this was a tow in center only but they listened to my story and said they could help me and take a look, long story short the damage to my Jeep was only cosmetic they came out and took only 5 minutes to wipe it off. Wow! Excellent customer service! I was blown away with their customer service and professionalism at the Elk Grove location. I was a drive in with no appt as i had been referred to Caliber by Elk Grove Acura due to a minor issue with the body work of my car. I was greeted right away, explained my situation and immediately had a very courteous gentleman ( i wish i would have asked for his name. I think he had grey goatee?) come out and take a look at the problem . He assessed, and quickly fixed it. They are ok....Work and paint was OK....Not a wow bc I had to point out a few things but nevertheless It is done now....... BTW: unless you ask, parts from repairs may not be OEM or new per Caliber saying insurance only allow aftermarket parts......I left it at that...... read more

I have used Caliber Collision three times now for repairs on my '02 Tahoe, once at the Sacramento location and twice at Elk Grove. All three times were from accidents covered by the other drivers' insurance. Billing was handled smoothly and directly each time with no out-of-pocket expense to me. Customer Service has always been efficient and professional. I was contacted when needed, and when the job was finished. I got a rental car from Enterprise, who picked me up at Caliber Collision; and I was able to leave the car at Caliber when I picked up my vehicle. Caliber Collision's employee, (I don't remember her name), did a walk-around of the rental for me so I could just leave it there. Their waiting area is comfortable; and complementary coffee and water are available. The repair job on my bumper looks great! read more
