Great work and customer service for initial estimate and repair, but not particularly good hours for those of us who work. The big ding was when we noticed something that had not been addressed and took the vehicle back. The adjuster's initial opinion was since they didn't touch it before (the very reason I am back), that it likely wasn't their fault it was broken. Flawless logic! He did ultimately agree to finish the repair which is appreciated. I would consider coming back but only after exploring other opinions first. read more

Denver, I love that you're full of nice humans. They're hardworking, creative, and overall really cool. One thing they're not? Good drivers. I know that's a generalization--not everyone is bad at driving in the Mile High. I do see a lot of accidents here though, and my poor baby car (who's named Whip Nae Nae, or Nae for short) has been the victim of not one but TWO fender benders this year. I scheduled a damage evaluation through my car insurance for about a week after someone rear ended my car. The scheduling process was all online and very painless. Upon arrival, I was asked if I wanted a damage evaluation and repair or just the evaluation. They informed me that if I made a separate appointment for the repair it would be over a month from now, so I opted to just do the dang thing. The evaluation and rental car drop off all happened in a timely manner, and the staff was as friendly as you can be when dealing with insurance deductibles all day every day. Red flag: the gal at the front desk warned me to take everything of value out of my car because people jump over the shop fence at night and steal it. I think taking your valuables with you is sort of a no brainer, but this warning left me a little uneasy and suspicious. It's scheduled to take ten days to put a new bumper on my car, so I'll update my review then! read more

I called 4 separate times, stayed on hold for over 10 minutes each time and never got through to anyone. I also tried to set up an appointment online and they were supposed to call me, but I never received a call back. Giving these guys 5 stars despite miscommunication between me and 2 different shop representatives; the primary one told me 7-8 days before the car would be ready, the secondary one I called the day before I brought in my vehicle told me 4 days top to bottom. The day I brought it in, not only were the parts not there but I was told my rep #1 "...I told you it'd take 7-8 days". Then of course I look like a damn rookie when he asks me which rep told me 4 days on the phone. I shouldn't *have* to remember names; I'd think all of those contacts would be logged down under a case file for each customer that comes in. The time difference really wouldn't have mattered at all except that caused a snafu with Budget down the street, when I went from an 8-day rental estimate to a 4-day need...and then had to extend it to a predicted 8 day need. Combine that with (supposedly) "super high demand" for vehicles due to hailstorms from 2 weeks before :p, and my rental prices went from $55/day to $93/day. Was not happy about that. Either way, it all ended up well, Joe Perez pulled some strings, the damage on my wheel turned out to be 98% cosmetic saving a few days, and he and his crew did indeed get it all turned out in 4 days. Went to Budget and didn't have to pay a single cent more. Joe did reach out at least twice during the repair process and let me know the different stages things were at, so kudos for keeping me well-informed. Would definitely recommend -- with the caveat that if you speak to a 2nd agent at Caliber and they give you a wildly differing repair time estimate, *get a name* -- it'll help you in the long run. read more

The best! I crunched the front end of my Yukon (my #*!&$@ fault), and upon a recommendation took it to Global Collision. Can't say enough good things about the company. They got the car on Monday and I drove it home on Thursday. The work was incredible, you could never tell I was in a crunch. The car was cleaned and the interior was detailed. I went through my insurance and Global tok care of every detail associated with the claim. Upon picking up my car, I took care of the $500 deductible - that was it. Can't believe these guys got high marks from anyone. Insurance claim on my truck to get the door repaired from a deer. After 2 months the paint bubbles and flakes off. I went their shop by to let them know since they say they have a "lifetime guarantee", guess not. The GM said the damaged paint wasn't from them, they only painted half the door". We both know they painted the whole door as the paint doesn't match the rest of the truck, anyway, he denied the life time warranty so I had to carry it to another shop that the insurance gladly paid for as they agreed It was never fixed properly. read more

I trashed my side mirror last Thursday. I took my car to Caliber, where Jackie and Jordan talked me through the options for getting it fixed. We agreed that Caliber would order a replacement mirror, I would bring my car back Tuesday morning and they would fix it. I brought my car back at 9:00 am on Tuesday, J and J did all the paperwork, I sat in the waiting room drinking coffee, J and J came back with my paperwork and key fob at 9:20 am, and I took my car home before I had finished my coffee. I almost hesitate to send this review because it sounds so much like a puff piece done by Caliber employees or PR folks, but I think I owe it to Jackie and Jordan to call out their excellence and helpfulness and professionalism. My vehicle got backed into when it was parked on the street and I had to take it in to the caliber collision on east evans in Denver through the other guys insurance company, thinking it would take forever. Not only was it done in 3 days, everyone there was polite, helpful, and upfront about the time it would take to repair my front bumper. After it was done, they thoroughly explained each area of work they completed and even washed and vacuumed the car. I have had some horrendous experiences with mechanics in the past, especially trying to up charge me, and this was the exact opposite. Organizations like this who go above and beyond to make sure you have amazing customer service are few and far between and I know how long a good review can go to spreading that word! My car was recently vandalized....with a bullet. I took it to Mike and Mike, with caliber and geico respectively and they not only fixed the headlight and my hood that were ruined-they made the car look better than when I dropped it off! I took my car 2005 Honda Accord Coupe in for a rear bumper repair, so there was some confusion and they ended up replacing my front bumper (which let me tell you was in a previous accident I never reported) caliber called applogizing over and over to me and explained that my car was mixed up with another silver Honda and they repaired my front bumper by mistake and to make up for THEIR mistake I would have a new front bumper and they would fix my back per repair ticket took them an extra 2 business days, paid for my rental car for those days! I have to say when I picked up my car it looked beautiful they added more value to my car for FREE who does that anymore I appreciate Brenda and Jake for being honest they showing me great customer service I would reccomend my family to Caliber Collision off Evan's any day over other repair shops if I could, I would give them 20 star rating Especially in customer service!!! What can I say, these guys are as good as it gets! Back in May 2015, I was involved in a car accident in which a woman distracted by her phone decided to slam into me on I-25. I called Farmers insurance and they informed me that this would be their Collision Center. When I towed my car and stepped into their office, they helped me with everything I needed. I can imagine that most of the time, the type of people they deal with are in a panicked frenzy from just being involved in an accident, so they really helped ease my mind. They had an Enterprise desk right there for rental cars, and they had informed me they just ran out of rentals. Instead of leaving me high and dry, the agent drove me in her personal vehicle to the other Enterprise up the street and was able to get me a rental! On top of that, I had a lot of issues with my repairs since the woman's insurance company decided that they didn't want to pay the full amount of my repair. One of the office managers helped me get it all taken care of, which I'm sure took a lot of his own time to do. Very impressed by these guys and highly recommend them to anyone!! PROS: Great repair, personal assistance, good follow-up (text messages sent daily), overall good business CONS: Longer time for repair which I didn't mind since I was fine with a rental, some issues with my car (the cigarette lighter has stopped working, but they were quick to fix when I presented them with the issue). read more

When I first used Caliber I was extremely impressed. They were professional, courteous, and they under promised and over delivered. That was about eight years ago. This time around they were seriously lacking. The work did not meet my expectations. I brought this to their attention and they offered to correct the issue pending insurance approval. They said they would call me back within a week but that didn't happen. I called two weeks later to follow up and to let them know of additional problems with the work they did and they promised to take care of everything, again "pending insurance approval". Empty promises and sub par work. I would not recommend Caliber Collision. ***UPDATE*** Jake, the manager, called me and apologized for the miscommunication. He offered to correct the issues and even got me a rental. Jake restored my confidence in Caliber Collision and I would highly recommend them. read more

Someone scraped my car in a parking garage, and their insurance company (who was paying for t) referred me to Caliber. After checking Yelp reviews I felt confident that they would take care of my car to my liking. I got an appointment relatively quickly, only had to wait about a week and a half to get in. My rental car was all ready when I got there as well. They did pretty quick work, got everything done in 4 days. When I picked up my car, everything looked like it was back to normal except a long black mark that wasn't even there when I dropped it off. I asked about it while we were looking over my car, and the service guy asked me to wait about 20 minutes while he removed it, which was fine. As I was driving out of the parking lot, I noticed a lot of scratches on the inside of my drivers window that were NOT that before. Almost as if one of the females that worked there accidentally (or on purpose, you never know) scrapes her wedding ring all along the inside of my window. I went back inside and brought the service man back out to my car, and when he looked at it he tried to blame me for it, saying I probably did it with my seatbelt (it was not in reach of an accidental seat belt throw) and then he said he would call a window tint repair person and be in touch with me. This was over a month ago and my window is still scratched and Caliber still hasn't bothered to call me to follow up. I am leasing my car so now I will have to pay to replace the window tint myself. The work on the outside of my car was pretty good, but the window thing and then trying to blame me turned me off to using this place in the future. read more

I had to go back because they put in a faulty light bulb. Unfortunately, this time hasn't been nearly as good. I have had to come back three times for small things they missed and now I'm back again. I took my mustang into caliber collision to have exterior body work completed. I am very particular on what I put on my muscle car, basically rebuilding my mustang to look amazing. Anyone that drives a muscle car understands it's not only what's under the hood that's important but also the exterior as well. Jake and the entire caliber collision crew did just that. I had a run in with a wild turkey in rural Nebraska recently. He didn't fare too well but neither did my bumper. Caliber replaced it for me in record time, exactly matched the paint and made everything look pretty again. I just purchased a 2018 WRX an had a slight fender bender recently. Went in got an estimate and waited 3 months to get in for repair only to be told the estimate was off 500$! Extremely upset but I offered to meet them in the middle and pay an additional 250$ to no success ! Worst communication. Dropped my truck off over a week and a half ago; never heard from them. Called last Friday, they said they were going to see the eta and give me a call back; never got a call back. Called Monday morning they said it'll be done Monday night and I'll get a call; no call. I called Tuesday to just see if they just forgot to call, they apologized and said it'll be done Wednesday and they will surely call me this time either way; no call. It's not Thursday evening and still nothing. I'll update the review when I see the quality of work they did... UPDATE: Jake, the shop manager, was very adamant I update my review. I will say, Jake was really the only person to ever call me from Caliber Collision during my adventure with them. Jake was also a pleasure to deal with, but I can't really recommend the shop to anyone. So here's my update: Due to the lack of communication, but mainly due to my first Yelp review, I was told they would take care of 2 "other dents" the truck had came in with for free. Funny thing is those 2 dents were on the first quote from the insurance company anyways, so I'm guessing if they didn't drop the ball they wouldn't have fixed them. So the day I pick up my truck it's raining, due to the rain it's hard to give a good once over of the truck, Jake did offer to dry it off and so I can look at it, I passed. I figured after the issues we had they wouldn't have let something fall through the cracks. I did notice a white scuff on the glove box, but figured it would wipe off, not a big deal. A day or two later I noticed a big scratch and slight dent on the back next to the rear window. I emailed Jake, went by and showed him. He said they would take care of it just need a day to do it. Finally got around to take the truck in. Later in the day I go back to pick it up. This time I figure I would give it a better look over than the time before.. there's what looked like over spray paint, come to find out was polish compound, flung all over the back glass and roof. I also found a new scratch on the passenger side door. I thank Jake, again he was a good guy but the workers at the shop obviously do not pay attention to quality, took my truck and go. I do not even mention the new scratch, Jake did see my looking at it and felt it, but I don't trust Caliber Collision to fix the new scratch so there's no real need for me to make a big deal of it to them. So.. I don't know if my revised review is really what the shop was hoping. But just the truth. You would think after repeated issues I've had they would want to make sure the truck left perfect, just wasn't the case at all. Besides the issues listed above the rest of the work was fine. I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received at Caliber Collision. I had a weird accident that left me with a driver side door that wouldn't close. I had no idea what the repair would entail and was fearful it would be really expensive. Caliber fixed my door and I had my car back the next day. It was a minor repair, but they could've told me anything. It's hard to trust people these days. What a blessing to find an auto body shop with honest, kind and professional people. I brought my 2005 Honda Accord in to get some repairs done before I moved the car to Hawaii. I was worried about rust in some the scratches due to the higher humidity. When I went to pick up the car I wasn't impressed with all of the work and was very upset as the agent assigned to me, Lisa, brushed off all my concerns saying she didn't write the estimate and they had done what was said would be done. The manager however was awesome and made sure I left satisfied. They fixed the problems I had with job and made my old car feel new again! read more

Had my front fender repaired here after someone decided to parallel park in the exact same parking spot i was in. Only reason I went here was the other person's insurance was Geico, and this was the place Geico uses in Denver for their repairs. I also don't have a body shop i frequent. They did a great job with the repair, but they said my car would be done on a Friday. It wasn't. They didn't return my call on Friday. I spend the whole weekend without my car. Monday morning, no call back. Late Monday afternoon, I get someone on the phone and they say my car is not done and someone will call me back. At 5:38 PM on Monday evening someone calls to tell me car is ready but i need to come get it by 6:30 because they close then. They are in South Denver. I had to go pick it up the following morning, five days after they said it would be done. read more

We have USAA and they recommended Caliber after our truck was damaged from the recent hail storms. They did a great job on the hood and roof (or so it appeared at first) but didn't touch any other part of the truck. We also found extra scratches and glue all over our truck. Trim and electric panels inside the truck were also loose and not properly reinstalled. After calling to let them know that we were unhappy we brought it back. They still didn't touch our doors but did redo the tail gate. It is now a completely different color we then noticed the hood is painted darker than the rest of our truck as well. We are so unhappy with this place and frustrated.... If they knew they couldn't match the paint I wish they would have called before painting the truck. read more

There are not a lot of places that take customer service seriously, but this one does. What could have turned out to be a poor experience, ended up being turned around. Great job by Jake.
