Beautiful decor (new school rustic) and you get greeted by Hiro, super friendly younger guy. They have coffee and water and some comfy seating while you wait. All the staff was super friendly, introduced themselves and engaged in entertaining and friendly conversation and banter with myself and one another. I felt at home here. CHRISTOPHER COBOS was my advisor and kept me posted almost daily it seemed, everytime there was an update on my Audi he let me know and ensured that it was back to new personally going on a drive with me to ensure my satisfaction. I live a ways from here but this is my recommended spot for anyone I know. If I need anything again on any vehicle for personal or my businesses....I will bring all my business to THIS place. I walked into Caliber and was warmly greeted by the front desk agent, Cole. He showed me around the facility, offered coffee and popcorn, while I waited for the service writer. I was introduced to the center manager Jeff, he helped me with my vehicle and advised the proper steps into submitting a claim for insurance and what the next steps would be moving forward with the repairs. Car accidents are always overwhelming, frustrating, and scary...especially when they involve your teenage daughter. From my first phone call with Caliber Collision to the day I picked up my car the service I received was first class. Knowing they were Audi certified made me feel at ease as my daughter's car was brand new. When I arrived to drop off the car the manager, Christopher Cobos, came to greet me and did my initial walk through. They had my paperwork ready to go and had made all necessary arrangements with the insurance company. Stephanie Lewis, my personal Caliber representative, kept me informed every step of the way with an introductory phone call as well as texts every couple of days with updates. If I had a question she quickly got back to me with an answer. When I came back to pick up my car the manager again greeted me, as did Stephanie. I can't say enough great things about this shop! I needed my fender replaced from hitting one of those parking structure posts (oops). I went to a couple shops for estimates, and even tried seeing if it would be cheaper for me to buy the part myself from the dealership, have someone paint it, and then pay someone to install it.. thinking it would be cheaper, and that way I didn't have to wait forever to get my car back.. because who has time for that?! All the other facilities I went to just gave me the rushed, "you're a girl & don't know anything" vibe. As soon as I came to Caliber, I already felt at ease. Everyone was super friendly. And lets be real, when they have to deal with upset, stressed out people coming in because their transportation is compromised it probably isn't the easiest.. we've all been there! But nope, I walked in on a time crunch because I had to go to work, there was a guy up front, Jairo (I think thats how you spell his name?) and he was so nice, and arranged Jonathan to assist me with my estimate. Jonathan actually walked around my car WITH ME instead of just making me wait inside the lobby and "come back with an estimate". It already made me feel better that I wasn't getting taken advantage of just because I was a girl.. He didn't BS me and tried to give me different options of what I could do to get it back to normal. The kicker was I was due to return my leased car, so I didn't want to spend a ton, (talk about timing.. ) and I was able to tell him that without feeling judged. He didn't rush me, he didn't throw any other extra crap in, and the estimate was reasonable, and about $340 cheaper than other places I got quotes at! WHAT THE HECK?! IT IS THE SAME THING TO FIX! ANNYYYWAYY, Jonathan was amazing. He kept me in the loop and had my car in and out in 2 days! He even offered to drop it off to me at work since he knew I had a tight lunch schedule. Talk about going the extra mile. It's not fun having to be without your car, so the fact that I was just able to hand off my keys, and not be taken advantage of, and then on top of that have him work around my busy schedule to make it less of a pain in the you know where, was amazing!!! The work was exceptional, and you literally couldn't even tell. AND I had no issues when returning my lease! DOUBLE WIN. The cherry on top was Matt who I think is the manager calling me a couple days later to make sure I was satisfied. WOW. JUST WOW. The only thing I wish they did have, was the Mercury Certification. I have Mercury insurance, so if I make a claim through my insurance it is easier to go to a certified Mercury Body Shop that way I do not have to obtain an estimate from a Mercury Estimator and then another one from the place I actually want to get my car fixed at (more time!) In this situation it didn't matter because I was turning my lease in, but in the future that would be a nice option. They offer a warranty on all their work anyway so it doesn't matter. It just saves the extra estimation step! Overall, amazing experience. I am very happy! P.S. Get the fresh popcorn in the lobby! YUM! :P read more

Can I give them no stars? I had to get the bumper redone three times as I did not find the completed jobs acceptable! I don't intend to tell Caliber how to do their job as I rely on them to be experts in this field. However, the color used for the bumper was noticeably off, the tone of the bumper is darker and there was a less metallic element to it. I understand that the body of the car and the bumper are made of different materials, however, the differences between the two should not be obvious. My expectation is that the bumper color will match the original car color; whether that means adding paint/color, using more toner, or using industry practices to match the color. Part of my frustration with the work performed at Caliber Collision is the lack of quality control and the fact that they rely on their customers to flag what is acceptable/passes or fails. This should be part of Caliber's internal process prior to completing the job and engaging the customer. The back and forth was a costly inconvenience for me, with the car being left with them for up to a week three different times to get the job done correctly. In addition, they also "forgot" to add the protective decal that came with my limited model. My car also suffered some scratches along the way (the trunk). I just had the worst experience at this Caliber Collision. First, let me start by saying my vehicle is still not complete and it's been 3 weeks. I brought my vehicle to the Caliber in Irvine and they shipped my vehicle to Caliber RedHill with my permission to complete the repairs. What a mistake that was! They double charged me for my deductible. I called them and asked for a refund. I was told I had to prove that a double charge was actually committed. Which I understood and my bank faxed over the paperwork. I was then told I had to wait for them to do an investigation. I can't understand why I faxed my bank statement to them if they were going to check it out with there bank. I still have not received the money from Caliber but my bank, One West refunded me and they will go after Caliber on their own. The service manager, Jorge and office manager, Maria stopped accepting and returning my phone calls. Poor customer service. I contacted the regional manager, Mike a week ago and to this date, he hasn't corrected the problem. Mike did call me initially and was going to set up an appointment at Caliber Irvine for my vehicle but I haven't heard from him in a week. This Caliber Collision is a poor example of other Caliber shops.. Good luck to anyone who has to deal with them at Red Hill. read more

I had an appointment with another Caliber dealer, but I was turned off by the lack of customer service of some employees whom I had to contact. So I looked around for another Caliber body shop and found one that specializes on Acura repair for my lovely auto. I have been very happy with the level of customer service that all the employees of Caliber Red Hill, Costa Mesa, have shown me. My Acura RLX came back top fit, and I was so happy to be in my clean, repaired auto again. Kudos to Jairo Urias, Customer Service, and to Matt Stuhler, Manager. Both showed me friendly, thoughtful service and made an unpleasant experience with a damaged car almost palpable.
