My boyfriend recently hit my Tesla Model Y by backing into a metal pole. I honestly gave up hope that it would ever look new again. However, Excess Look Auto saved the day. Within two days, they made the car look brand new. I cannot recommend them enough! They also helped to detail the car and apply a ceramic coating as well. All in one spot. I'm so incredibly happy with the outcome and would recommend them 100%! read more

If you need auto body work done right, go see Chris at Excess Look Auto Solutions. After receiving crazy quotes between $2k-$5k from other shops, Chris fixed my vehicle for a fraction of the cost and had it ready in less than 2 days. He was extremely transparent and communicative throughout. He initially quoted me for paint work alongside a dent removal, but after doing such a great job on the dent, he let me know it only needed a quick touch-up instead, saving me even more money. Chris went above and beyond, and I couldn't be happier with the results! read more

Service didnt remove all the swirls, but I think it got about 50% swirls removed, plus the paint is very shiny again. Thank you for the very good service and deal. Been coming here for years exclusively for their hand wash and interior detail skills. Never go anywhere else! No cap, if you live in socal, and you're looking to keep your ride looking "fresh off the lot" this is the place. Chris has been running this place for over 20 years and Luis has been my go to when I need serious quality paint work. He buffs, polishes, ceramic seals and wraps cars. Luis is the man! Quality work for exceptional value. You're paying more sometimes for less at those "hand" car wash joints. All you get from those places is scratches and more work to be done on your new car, don't do that. Come to excess look instead! read more

I scheduled a service with tesla about this dent and was horrified by how much it would've cost. So I brought my Tesla Model X in with a noticeable dent as you see in the pictures, and these guys made it look brand new. I was seriously impressed, not only was the dent completely gone, but the entire job took less than 45 minutes. You'd never even know there was damage in the first place. Fast, professional, and flawless work. Highly recommend Excess Look Auto Solutions off Jamboree Road! The value is insane. Tesla quoted me $1200 and these guys did it for a fraction of the price! read more

Hands-down, best car wash in Newport Beach and probably Orange County. I take my 10-year-old Acura MDX there as often as I can.. thank you everyone and thanks, Chris Oh, I want to add. He's also had some of his team do some bodywork when we backed into a pole right after we got it almost 10 years ago he repaired it at a ridiculously fair price and into this day it still has held all of its integrity. Point is this guy and his incredible team know what they're doing at this place. read more

Chris and his team did amazing work on my old pick-up truck! They perfectly color matched my 25 year old original paint and flawlessly blended the clearcoat. The truck has great sentimental value and Chris gave it the same kind of attention to detail that he does the numerous Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, etc. that he routinely details and maintains. I could not be more pleased with the result and highly recommend Excess Look Auto Solutions! read more

If I could give Excel look 20 stars I would. Wow, wow, wow I have had the most incredible experience on my search for A shop to fix a car door (2025 Toyota Corolla) that had a fight with a 1989 Dodger work truck with a metal front bumper, I was searching yelp and reached out to excess look. I sent a message with pictures asking for a quote, availability, and how long would something like this take. I received a message in less than 30 minutes with a quote. I decided to go with Excel look over other shops. I was helped by Bryce with setting up the day of drop off also with a rental. Arrangements were made for the vehicle to be dropped off before the shop opened Chris. The owner met me early of the day of the drop off to ensure that I got to work on time. Chris was very honest and upfront with me when he saw the damages on the vehicle he discussed what would be done and other options to get the car back to 98% percent. He took his time and explained everything that would be done the process. Chris kept in contact with me step-by-step until the vehicle was finished. The vehicle looks like nothing ever happened to it. I give you guys 1000 stars. I am so glad I found you guys. Thank you Chris and team at Excel Look. read more

Love this place. I'm lucky enough that I work in the building that the parking structure is attached to. This is the best detail/car wash place I have ever used. Car comes away super clean and the vacuum detail is the best part. It's definitely worth the price which is not bad. You can tell what a great job they do because some of the most expensive cars I have ever seen in my life get detailed here. The owner of the car wash is a great guy that really cares that you are happy. read more

Chris and his team are the guys you want to take your car to. They are very honest and reasonable, and they know what they are doing. I have taken multiple luxury vehicles to him from tinting on a G wagon, to curb rash repair on a Rolls Royce, to a respray on a very unique gold Range Rover that got keyed. They paint matched perfectly on such an obscure color, you couldn't even tell it was resprayed. There is no job too big for Chris and the guys at Excess Look. They do a great job for a great price, I definitely recommend taking your luxury vehicles to them as they make it look good as new in regards to cleaning and any cosmetic services you may need! read more

Chris, Steve and their team at excess look are the best in the biz. Earlier this week I had a decent size scratch in the Driver side door of my brand new Tahoe. I hired someone to repair the scratch which only made matters worse, as you'll see in the pics below. I then reached out to excess look, after I was referred by a Good Friend of mine. Chris assessed, took my car in right away and got to work. 3 hours later, good as new! I couldn't believe it. He also gave me a reasonable quote on deleting some of the chrome (ski rails, window pane trim, and bumper) which we went ahead and did. The job was done in one day and my Tahoe looks better than ever. read more

I was able to contact the IG team and get a quote from them within less than 2 hours. They gave me a very reasonable price to fix a dent on my car and tint my windows. It was all done within less than 5 days. Chris at Excess Look Auto Solutions is both talented and trustworthy. It is not easy to find a car body shop that you can trust and also has experience working on more luxury cars. I recently went to visit Chris to get an estimate for some minor repairs on my bumper. I first went to the body shop recommended by the Mercedes dealership and they quoted me over $1,300 to repair the damage and said it would take at least 4 days, so that's another few hundred in rental fees. I really did not trust their quote and wanted a second opinion. I asked for recommendations on the Nextdoor app and that is how I came across Excess Look Auto. Scheduling an appointment for a quote was very easy. There location is a little tricky, just turn into parking lot when you see the Taco Bell and they are right behind them. Chris looked over the damage and said "let me try something, I'll be right back". I did not even hear him come back, but within 5 minutes he snapped my bumper back into place and wiped the paint off with a microfiber cloth. He did not charge me and saved me about 2k. I'm glad I went with my gut and I'm even more glad I found these guys. I will only be taking my car here for any cosmetic damages my cars might need in the future. read more

Found these guys on an ad on Instagram and decided to try them out. Glad I did. Everyone I spoke to were friendly and helpful. I mainly dealt with Luis, and he was awesome. He showed me the different finishes and recommended what would be the best service for my car. I went with the 4-stage polish and I'm glad I did. The result is amazing. Luis went above and beyond. Will definitely spread the word and take my business back there. Thanks guys! read more

Second vehicle I've taken in to excess look and they've knocked it out of the park both times. Got my car washed here today. I was very happy with the wash and the friendly service. There was a very nice girl that I talked to on the phone, she also was the same girl that welcomed me as I arrived. This is not your regular tunnel style car wash. They wash all cars by hand. If your car is lowered, if you have nice wheels or maybe you just simply do not want your car going through the typical machine driven car wash. Give this place a call, set up an appointment and pay the $24.00 I'm here to tell you that it was absolutely worth the price. read more

Needed to get my car detailed and Excess did it perfectly. My car was dirty and had swirl marks all over it. I was really happy with the gloss on my car and how clean it was. The team was very friendly as well. The entire detailing process took about 4 hours, which is pretty standard, and it came out better than I expected. My car is wrapped on top as well, and they knew how to handle that. My tires and rims looked brand new, like they have just driven off the lot. After lots of research, I decided to take my 540i here for their 4 stage paint restoration/treatment. I had just purchased the car and it was covered in swirl marks that were visible in the sun and REALLY bothered me. PROS: - Great Service - Chris and his team were very communicative from start to finish. Even a text update mid day to let me know how car was coming along. - Very fair pricing. They were running a promo on the 4-stage and for the amount of work, I feel it was a very fair price. - They also cleaned the inside of the car which I was not expecting. - Overall they did a good job on the car. You can tell they take car of your baby while its there. CONS: - They work in a parking garage where lighting isnt as great. When I got car in the sun next day, I saw that they only got about 75% of the swirl marks out. (Mostly missed in two sections on the car). I was super disappointed. Wish they would take car out to sun to spot check the rubbing compound stage before moving on and finishing up. Especially since swirl marks are most evident in direct sunlight. read more
