I popped in probably for my last time on Thursday. I needed to have a tire looked at for a nail, no big deal this has always bern a quick service they have performed for me (price is now 25 for repair). But what lost my continued use is on the trip I returned to them their shop radiator cap that contains a pipe fitting "hole" to easily fill your radiator. This had been on my radiator since July when they did an oil change and full auto check. I wouldn't have ever noticed it had I not had battery trouble. My engine bay was covered in radiator fluid. Needless to say on return service of their part no apology was given it was just an oops move on. Had my car ran hot and caused bigger issues it would have been on them. I purchased a replacement radiator cap and no reimbursement or thought of such was offered. It was disappointing and a mistake I cannot look past. As be it small it could have been a large issue. They were very kind and lent me a cable to charge my phone at the "bar" area (an area made for folks to use their laptops and plug in) As for service, I was certain that I needed to get the alternator replaced, but they were honest and told me I just needed a new battery and to have my battery connectors needed some corrosion cleaned off. Some places would have just done as I'd asked and replaced the alternator even if it didn't need it. So I'm grateful we saved some money and got back on the road quickly. As much as one hates to take their car in for anything to be done or repaired, I must say they made it a nicer than expected experience. The atmosphere is very pleasant and good coffee. Once the vehicle has been looked at they come and sit with you and explain the process. They are very attentive and pleasant with their customers. I had a very bad fuel line leak suddenly happen on my 2015 GMC pickup,so I decided to give Caliber Auto Care located on Rayford Rd, my hard earned $$ to do the repair. I first drive my wife's vehicle up to Caliber to speak to them before calling AAA to tow my truck in for repair. I spoke with Scott at the onset and explained the situation. Scott,as well as everyone else,was very professional and friendly,the waiting area,as well as the shop areas were pristine clean. The required " Diagnostics" charge alone was $50 cheaper than Christian Brothers and Scott did NOT try to oversell me or insinuate that my vehicle would not be fully repaired, Without additional "recommended" work,as Christian Brothers had done,when I had a A/C repaired. If I could rate Caliber with 6 starts I would. I arrived for an inspection and was told it would be about an hour. Based on the 4.5 rating I decided to wait since they provided Wi-Fi and I had my laptop. I was pleasantly surprised to see a nice waiting room with comfortable chairs, a big screen, a USB charging station and a Starbucks fresh ground coffee machine with multiple flavored creamers. Talk about making your customer feel comfortable while they wait. Their restrooms were nicer than some of the best restaurants in the area between the decor and cleanliness. My inspection was complete in an hour, my advisor came over to show me pictures of all areas of my vehicle that were inspected on an iPad and I was checked out shortly afterwards. I made sure to tell the manager, Josh, that this was a top notch experience. He gave me his card and also came out to look at an issue I had with my paint job. Incredible customer service! read more

I visited the Rayford Rd location on Fri 6/30/23 for service. While the service was performed there was a mishap with my vehicle. The Manager, Josh, promptly called me and alerted me to said issue as well as assured me that it would be taken care of and I would be able to get my vehicle back by the end of the day. The issue was resolved earlier than expected and I was able to get it back before the end of the business day. Josh and Carlos did a wonderful job at keeping me informed. Today on 07.03.23, I had to go back for something unrelated to the last visit. The Manager, Josh, and technician, Rudy, made sure all was taken care of and kept me informed through out the day. Charged me $129 just to inspect any problems with my AC, then quoted me $1600 to get the AC compressor replaced! $1600! Nearly $800 on labor alone...went to another mechanic and they're doing the same job for $850, almost half the price Service First would do it for. The overall customer experience at Service First is great, but if you value getting a reasonable deal for repair work on your vehicle, this is not the place to go to. Waste of money. read more

Man I just love this place, I can not say enough good things about it. It's everything you imagine people who would put service first would create. Coffee, water, polite, kind, friendly, FAST, wifi, kids playground, dog relief area, key drop off box, meet you at the front door to hold it open and greet you kind of place. So you tell me where you get this kind of treatment and know it's not a far gone memory from 1989!!! I used to love coming here and i would always recommend it to everyone I know, even strangers in neighborhood FB groups. Today I had an appointment for an oil change and a state inspection and it was not a pleasant experience. There were two staff members at the front loudly flirting with one another for the majority of my time there, the waiting area and kitchen were dusty and filthy, my car which is a coupe is labeled as a "station wagon" on the paperwork I received, the only time someone communicated with me was when I arrived to tell them I was here and give them my keys and when I was asked to pay, no one reviewed their findings with me or made any comments on the status of my car or results of inspection or what oil was used/if fluids were topped off etc. When I paid and inquired about my car, i was told "there would be papers in my car either on the dash or passengers seat with all I needed to know" and "everything's fine otherwise it would not have passed inspection". There was no word of issue with my vehicle or on the papers I found in my car but I opted for a paperless receipt, which I'm glad I did because on the emailed receipt I found there is EIGHT issues with my vehicle, one being a leak somewhere in the undercarriage. I was not going to leave a review but after being prompted to do so, I obliged. I have never experienced any of this in all my time coming here and am very disappointed as it once used to be such an amazing place to come. read more

These people are awesome! I had my yearly inspection with them before, and it went really well. Today I brought my car in for an oil change and mentioned the body work and sensor that needed fixing. They checked out my entire car and referred me over to their partner company for the body work. They said they like to replace the sensors all together and that it cost almost $600! Instead of trying to pressure me into doing it, the kind man told me that if it's not a big deal to just leave it alone because that's a lot of money. He even suggested I try the dealership because it might be under warranty. This is the first honest mechanic I have ever been to. Their interior is clean, I was told a very accurate wait time, and there's free Starbucks and iPads to mess around on. They are very up front and realistic. They also give a free car wash whenever you have something done there. I told the woman at the desk that I had just gone on a road trip and she told me to bring it by next time because they do complimentary pre road trip inspections! i even joked to my partner that we can't ever leave where we are living now because we found the only good mechanic in the world. Brought my Tesla Model S today for a 4-wheel alignment, while the service advisor is courteous and informative but one of the technicians took the liberty of joy ride my vehicle with excessive acceleration on the vehicle without the owner's permission as it is shown on the electric consumption graph (I have the proof) I understand if a technician had to test drive the vehicle but not to the extent that he took the liberty to 'floor' the accelerator pedal just to feel how an electric vehicle accelerates. read more

Recently I'd been having car troubles and I decided to shop around my new area instead of heading across town to my old mechanic. This ended up being one of the best decisions I've ever made. The customer service at Caliber/Service First is incomparable. The building itself is always clean and welcoming. There is complimentary water and coffee, along with a spacious waiting lobby with a larger than life television to help you pass the time. They even have an indoor play area for the little ones! The day of my appointment, I was greeted promptly, checked in, then offered complimentary shuttle to take me back home. After a few hours Caliber called me with an in depth analysis of all of my car's potential issues. Complimenting the phone call was a text message with a link that led to my vehicle report. The report contained photos and explanations of everything the ASE certified mechanics found hazardous. What an eye opener! Along with my vehicles original issues, the mechanics revealed other potentially hazardous problems that I should get addressed. The problems were outlined with priority levels displaying how urgent each should be handled. Although at times it is easy to feel like mechanics are simply trying to weasel you out of more money, the photos along with the thorough explaining all off all my major vehicle components both working and not were able to put me at ease. Nothing about our conversations was ever about upselling me anything. There were just honest opinions about how my vehicle was operating and how much time I have before addressing each of the issues. The day my car was ready, another shuttle was provided to pick me up and return me to the facility. That in itself, wow. No more wasting all day at the dealership doing nothing. When I arrived, the mechanics explained the work they'd completed again, then wished me well. Upon checking out, the manager that I had been on the phone with most, Alex, suggested a coupon from the website that ended up saving me $100+ off my vehicle repair. Weeks later I'm still in awe. This experience went well beyond anything I could have ever hoped for. Caliber has a great team of people there that all seem to have your best interest at heart. My kids had driven their car over a curb and pulled the plastic protective cover underneath the vehicle loose. I called caliber and asked if they could try to reattach it and they told me to come right over. It was about 90 minutes before closing time. They were unable to zip tie it down because the bolt had been pulled out. But they offered to remove it until I could get it over to the dealer because it was hanging down and rubbing on the street. They did all that for free. It took less than 15 minutes. read more

Received best service ever! We are new to the area, and noticed their Oil change sign. I stopped in without an appointment. They have best waiting room with free coffee/tea/hot chocolate and cold waters, comfy chairs and big tv with cable. Best was the indoor climbing structure for kids, my grandson didnt want to leave! The service took about 30mn, they also check and fill all fluids and check tires. They didnt try to sell me anything extra. Everyone super friendly.
