Service was friendly and the food was tasty for a semi reasonable price, still on the higher end. The chile verde plate was good and I enjoyed the rice and beans as well. Today was hot and I don't know if they had ac or not because it seemed a little stuffy inside. Only negative was we ordered the limon agua Fresca but we got the horchata instead. Nothing detrimental and the horchata was refreshing. Also for the carne asada wet burrito it was delicious but we asked for no beans but they included them in. All in all a solid 3.5 but since I can't give them a half star they are closer to the 4. Would like to come back to try some other menu items.

We started with the Cafe De Olla delicious free refills. We all ordered different things we were all please and happy with the delicious food. Red chilaquiles were so good asked for crispier and easy on the heat not too spicy. Hit the spot they were so crispy and carne asada was cooked perfectly just a small portion just enough to fill you up. My husband and son ordered the menudo and it was very good flavor not too watery. They both said they will order it again. My little girl ordered the pancakes good stack she couldn't finish it but they were good too. Young Latina waiter did a phenomenal she was very nice and let us try the cafe de olla before ordering it. She always checked on us thanks sweetie for your great service.

Came in here on a rainy day, looking for a big bowl of albondigas soup .. after looking at trusty…read moreYELP and checking out the other reviews I decided why not let's see what this place has to offer. This place is nestled into a small strip mall with a couple other restaurants located in it kind of tucked away not hard to find, but you would miss it pretty easy, it was either the owner and his mom or his wife and they both seem nice. They took the order they made the order and they brought out the order so it looks like a hard-working family. Now onto the food !! My soup was good and I could tell that it was fresh because it took about 20 minutes to make and nobody else was in the restaurant. I appreciate the attention to detail, but for me the broth was just lacking. Something was definitely missing in the flavor department. My 10 year old son ordered the Carne Asada quesadilla and I had a small piece of that, which was actually pretty good as the tortilla was nice and fluffy and very soft. The meat in the quesadilla was also tender and not tough which also helped out Not saying I wouldn't come back to this place and give it another try ,but the soup for me was definitely lacking what I was looking for and I've had better albondigas soup at other places.

Damn good! My family…read moreand I wanted Thai bbq takeout for the 4th of July. We were going to have that for later. So in the meantime we needed a Scooby snack :p The Mexican spot next to Thai bbq was closed for the holiday. So I started calling around because my mom needed her carne asada tacos! Called around and I remember I had Los consomes on my list and they were open YAY. I ordered two carne asada street tacos, a queso birria ,a queso asada taco and chips and salsa. I was raised in Cerritos so I know Artesia very well and made my way over from Thai bbq. Walked in, nice clean little mom and pop. Seems like the guy was the chef and cashier. I didn't realize there was a little bell to let them know you're there so I stood around for a good minute til I pressed it lol. For safety, I'd say they should have something that makes a noise when you first walk in. Anyhow, he came out, rung me up and food was packed and ready. Got home and tore into the bag. The chips definitely tasted made to order. Extremely fresh! The salsa was sooooo good. He asked if I wanted the hot sauce and of course I did. Even my mom indulged and she usually can't do spicy. It was a perfect amount of spice. She said her tacos were the softest, not soggy tacos she ever had. The meat was perfect and plentiful. The queso tacos were simple and delicious. No dried out tortillas here! The Birria was nice and soft. Their meat was perfectly cooked. Not tough or a crazy chew to it. My mom said the chips were addicting. We were full just off our tacos and some chips. I needed a nap LOL. They have a nice straightforward menu. Not a million things, just enough options to keep you interested for multiple visits. Great service from a hardworking family I bet. I can't wait to go back and try their soups, even with this summer heat I wish them much success:)

The service is quick, and the presentation of everything was exceptional--everything looks as good as it tastes! When you walk in, you'll notice that to the left is the restaurant, and to the right is La Mirage Nightclub. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like VIPs. The manager personally came out to greet us, which added such a personal touch to the experience. We felt welcomed and cared for, which made our visit feel even more special. I tried the enchiladas, which were full of flavor, and the rest of my group enjoyed the specialty filet mignon, chicken parm pasta, their Mar y Tierra dish and a specialty appetizer Octopus --everything was fantastic. We also had margaritas from happy hour, and they were delicious--perfectly presented and refreshing. To top it off, a live band started playing, and they were amazing! They took requests and performed right around our table, creating a fun and lively atmosphere. It was my mom's birthday, and the staff went above and beyond by bringing out a complimentary cake with a candle and singing to her, making the day even more memorable.
