Great price From the…read moremoment I contacted B&C Auto Repair, I was treated with nothing but kindness, professionalism, and respect. My first conversation was actually with Corey's mother, who was answering the phones at the time. She made me feel like I was talking to family. During our conversation, she shared that B&C Auto Repair has been serving customers for three generations and that her son, Corey, now proudly carries on that legacy. After speaking with Corey, it became immediately clear where he learned his exceptional customer service. He was patient, knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely took the time to answer every question I had without ever making me feel rushed. In today's world, that level of personal attention is rare. I brought my 2024 Ford F-250 Lariat Ultimate to B&C for suspension work, engine upgrades, and several aftermarket modifications, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. The technicians, Matt and Stephen, were just as friendly, professional, and knowledgeable as Corey. Even while they were busy working on my truck, they took the time to explain the work being performed, answer my questions, and made sure I understood every step of the process. That kind of customer service and transparency is hard to find. What impressed me even more was what happened after the work was completed. Corey stood behind everything they had done. If there was anything that needed to be adjusted or fine-tuned, he didn't hesitate to make it right. That level of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction speaks volumes about the character of this business. The team at B&C Auto Repair is worth every penny. You're not just paying for parts and labor; you're investing in decades of experience, expert craftsmanship, and a team that genuinely cares about delivering the highest quality work. Whether you're looking for aftermarket suspension systems, diesel performance upgrades, maintenance, or a complete custom truck build, this is the shop you want working on your vehicle. I will absolutely be returning to B&C Auto Repair for all of my future diesel, suspension, and performance needs. If you're looking for honest people, exceptional workmanship, and customer service that truly goes above and beyond, I highly recommend B&C Auto Repair. You won't be disappointed.

But if I had trusted this shop, I would have given them between $2600-4000 for work that was NOT needed. First off, I was lured in by an Instagram ad that offered me a detail included with an oil change. Sadly, I learned this was too good to be true!!! This shop is not very close to me, so I took about a half day off work to go to this oil appointment, only to be told the marketing person "messed up" and it wasn't really a detail but just a car wash, but they would "do me a favor" and hook it up. Well, they didn't hook it up. I can wash my car far better than they did. And a detail? They didn't even vacuum or dust it. Ridiculous. Next, they tried upselling me at every turn (starting with the detail they tried to sell me until I reminded them it was supposed to be included). They did an "inspection" and quoted me for all kinds of work I didn't need and/or couldn't afford. A Cabin air filter I had just done myself weeks prior. Brakes another shop did 2 months prior. Then some suspension stuff that seemed serious (see pic) - which stressed me out for months, until I finally had saved $ to take it to another shop... (Because, NO WAY I was getting work done at this place after all of the red flags.) Well guess what? Just recently I took it to a different (actually trustworthy) shop. The owner put it on the rack. Came back in with an weird expression as if to say, "you're not going to believe this." I had no idea what was about to happen. I was dreading how costly it might be, as I had delayed the repair by months. He had me walk under my car with him to see these supposedly cracked and leaking tie-rod boots and other issues... and everything was IN PERFECT CONDITION. Which makes sense bc my car has only about 50k miles. So the second shop sent me away without paying a penny, and I'll be going back there to get my brake pads done when they're *actually* due to be done. Shops like Oside Motorsports are why we can't trust mechanics. It's truly sad. I can't imagine if I performed my job this way, trying to unethically take ppl's hard-earned money, just because my customers have little choice but to trust me. It's shameful.

When I called this Oceanside Car Clinic and I talked to Eric who works for their shop, he told me that he is not at their shop right now. I explained to Eric that I want to get a Free Quote on this Brake Replacement Service that needs to be done on my 1995 Honda Civic DX Coupe Car. I want to know, how much would Eric charge me for this Brake Light Part and how much would he charge for his labor including the sales tax? Eric told me to send him 3 photos of my car and to text message him from the Oceanside Car Clinic's business phone number. Then Eric said he will give me the (price of the Brake Light Part) and he will also give me a FREE Quote on the (Brake Light Replacement Service). I said okay great. Eric's voice sounded really friendly during my cell phone conversation with him on Thursday, June 20, 2023 at 4:30 p. m. I have the proof in posting my photos and my text messages to Eric on my Apple IPhone XR. But it is also very important to write a review to explain the issue, I had with this automotive repair shop. As a Yelp Elite 2023 Reviewer, it is required from me to always tell the Truth with every experience I have with a business. I did send Eric these 3 screenshots on my 1995 Honda Civic DX Coupe Car. I also told Eric that my local automotive repair shop that I am a regular customer at currently is at this Golden Wrench Auto. Shop and I had recently had my car taken in for an oil and filter change with a 22 point inspection from my local auto. repair shop on June 6, 2023 and my car was fine. I had texted Eric all of this information about my car. Then Eric said he will text me back with a price on this Brake Light Replacement Service if I decide I want to have to get this service done at their Oceanside Car Clinic. I waited for Eric's response back to me on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Eric did NOT respond back to my text message to him from my Apple IPhone XR. Eric still had 30 minutes to respond back to my message to him. Eric never got back to me and like he said he would. I see this as (poor customer service) and the Oceanside Car Clinic needs to improve on their customer service skills. I want to let Eric know who works for this shop, you never know who is going to be calling your shop. It can be a Yelp Elite 2023 Reviewer like me or a potential customer. Please next time respond back to that person calling into your shop for a quote on a specific service. My assumption maybe is that since I told Eric I am a loyal customer at my local shop at the Golden Wrench Automotive Shop. It could possibly be that Eric doesn't want to take away another shop's business. I don't really know for sure, because I am not a mind reader. I think Eric should have been more (honest) to me and he should have told me that he will not respond back to me with a Free Quote on this Brake Light Replacement Service. I also learned that when I call around to some other automotive repair shops to compare prices on a specific service that I want a Free Quote on, these other automotive repair shops, they just care about making a profit and they don't care about me. This is my reason to give this Oceanside Car Clinic a (2 star rating). It could have been better. I rarely give a business a poor review. The only time I do give a business a poor rating is to alert that business to improve their customer service. It would be great if their manager or their owner would respond back to my review.
