When I called this Oceanside Car Clinic and I talked to Eric who works for their shop, he told me that he is not at their shop right now. I explained to Eric that I want to get a Free Quote on this Brake Replacement Service that needs to be done on my 1995 Honda Civic DX Coupe Car. I want to know, how much would Eric charge me for this Brake Light Part and how much would he charge for his labor including the sales tax? Eric told me to send him 3 photos of my car and to text message him from the Oceanside Car Clinic's business phone number. Then Eric said he will give me the (price of the Brake Light Part) and he will also give me a FREE Quote on the (Brake Light Replacement Service). I said okay great. Eric's voice sounded really friendly during my cell phone conversation with him on Thursday, June 20, 2023 at 4:30 p. m. I have the proof in posting my photos and my text messages to Eric on my Apple IPhone XR. But it is also very important to write a review to explain the issue, I had with this automotive repair shop. As a Yelp Elite 2023 Reviewer, it is required from me to always tell the Truth with every experience I have with a business. I did send Eric these 3 screenshots on my 1995 Honda Civic DX Coupe Car. I also told Eric that my local automotive repair shop that I am a regular customer at currently is at this Golden Wrench Auto. Shop and I had recently had my car taken in for an oil and filter change with a 22 point inspection from my local auto. repair shop on June 6, 2023 and my car was fine. I had texted Eric all of this information about my car. Then Eric said he will text me back with a price on this Brake Light Replacement Service if I decide I want to have to get this service done at their Oceanside Car Clinic. I waited for Eric's response back to me on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Eric did NOT respond back to my text message to him from my Apple IPhone XR. Eric still had 30 minutes to respond back to my message to him. Eric never got back to me and like he said he would. I see this as (poor customer service) and the Oceanside Car Clinic needs to improve on their customer service skills. I want to let Eric know who works for this shop, you never know who is going to be calling your shop. It can be a Yelp Elite 2023 Reviewer like me or a potential customer. Please next time respond back to that person calling into your shop for a quote on a specific service. My assumption maybe is that since I told Eric I am a loyal customer at my local shop at the Golden Wrench Automotive Shop. It could possibly be that Eric doesn't want to take away another shop's business. I don't really know for sure, because I am not a mind reader. I think Eric should have been more (honest) to me and he should have told me that he will not respond back to me with a Free Quote on this Brake Light Replacement Service. I also learned that when I call around to some other automotive repair shops to compare prices on a specific service that I want a Free Quote on, these other automotive repair shops, they just care about making a profit and they don't care about me. This is my reason to give this Oceanside Car Clinic a (2 star rating). It could have been better. I rarely give a business a poor review. The only time I do give a business a poor rating is to alert that business to improve their customer service. It would be great if their manager or their owner would respond back to my review.

When I contacted the shop they said if I could bring the car in they would replace the seal but would not cover work done in Washington. We are not going to drive 2,500 miles to and back from the shop to have a seal replaced. The man at the shop said it was of no benefit to him to pay for repair since we did not live in Vista and were not local customers. He also said we should just live with the leak and keep check on the oil level. We didn't get the golden wrench we got the golden screw.

I had my car towed in this last Saturday and from the moment I came into the shop, I was treated with kindness. After the owner had evaluated my car and I signed the contract, he expressed to me that there was more wrong with my car than what he originally thought. He then told me that he cannot work on my car because it would be a waste of my money if it were to be a more severe problem. His honesty was very appreciated because he could have fixed it to make money on his end. It was a breath of fresh air to know that there is an honest mechanic out there. We bought our car from classic chariots and a few days later noticed something rolling around in the dash. So we called emerald auto (which is classic chariots service dept.) and they said bring it in and we will take car of it. We worked with Kevin who is such a gracious and helpful person we couldn't of been more pleased with our experience. So glad we bought our car through them because they have taken such good care of us. It took two guys almost 5 hours to find what looked like a little gum ball rolling around. Many, many thanks to Kevin who went out of his way to have our Ford Transit van ignition key programed. Being a 2018 van the shop had not programed one yet. It took Kevin several shops and 4 or more hours to find someone who could reprogram the key. To our surprise we were treated to a second programed key at no charge. Tenacity, patience and customer satisfaction is what you will find at the Emerald Auto Service Center. I accidentally pulled out an important wireing for airbag sensor while vacuuming my 2015 chrysler, even though his mechanics were on lunch, kevin personally fixed the problem himself without hesitation, plus gave me an oil change on the house, that was just wonderful of kevin to do so completly unexpected, from most auto repair centers.. So I brought my car there afterwards and overall I think they did a good job. They were able to take me in right away, without an appointment, which is a plus! Couple things made this experience (review) a 3-star instead of higher. First, the quote I got over the phone was different the one given when I arrived. The store explained I have a different type of suspension, which I can understand the price increase. However, I already provided the car model and year over the phone, it would be much nicer if they could quote me correctly upfront. Second, if they can provide a report to customer, showing the difference they made, between before and after alignment, that would make their work standout. Instead I only got a verbal run down when I asked about it. Hope RC Auto will take feedbacks positively. They also do a lot of other auto works, so people can check them out if they are in Visita.

They're thorough, honest and reasonable. I recently took my car in and described 2 issues I was having. Allen told me to go to the parts store, told me what to get and how to take care of it myself. Then he smiled and said, "I'll give you the easy ones...if it doesn't work bring it back." That cost me less than $20. AWESOME! Just yesterday I started hearing a noise in the front end. Kien knew exactly what it was and in a couple hours time it was taken care of and a lot less than I was anticipating. When I called this Oceanside Car Clinic and I talked to Eric who works for their shop, he told me that he is not at their shop right now. I explained to Eric that I want to get a Free Quote on this Brake Replacement Service that needs to be done on my 1995 Honda Civic DX Coupe Car. I want to know, how much would Eric charge me for this Brake Light Part and how much would he charge for his labor including the sales tax? Eric told me to send him 3 photos of my car and to text message him from the Oceanside Car Clinic's business phone number. Then Eric said he will give me the (price of the Brake Light Part) and he will also give me a FREE Quote on the (Brake Light Replacement Service). I said okay great. Eric's voice sounded really friendly during my cell phone conversation with him on Thursday, June 20, 2023 at 4:30 p. m. I have the proof in posting my photos and my text messages to Eric on my Apple IPhone XR. But it is also very important to write a review to explain the issue, I had with this automotive repair shop. I waited for Eric's response back to me on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Eric did NOT respond back to my text message to him from my Apple IPhone XR. Eric still had 30 minutes to respond back to my message to him. Eric never got back to me and like he said he would. I see this as (poor customer service) and the Oceanside Car Clinic needs to improve on their customer service skills. I want to let Eric know who works for this shop, you never know who is going to be calling your shop. It can be a Yelp Elite 2023 Reviewer like me or a potential customer. Please next time respond back to that person calling into your shop for a quote on a specific service. My assumption maybe is that since I told Eric I am a loyal customer at my local shop at the Golden Wrench Automotive Shop. It could possibly be that Eric doesn't want to take away another shop's business. I don't really know for sure, because I am not a mind reader. I think Eric should have been more (honest) to me and he should have told me that he will not respond back to me with a Free Quote on this Brake Light Replacement Service. I also learned that when I call around to some other automotive repair shops to compare prices on a specific service that I want a Free Quote on, these other automotive repair shops, they just care about making a profit and they don't care about me. This is my reason to give this Oceanside Car Clinic a (2 star rating). It could have been better. I rarely give a business a poor review. The only time I do give a business a poor rating is to alert that business to improve their customer service. It would be great if their manager or their owner would respond back to my review.

Brought my Toyota RAV4 2013 asking for fluid flush (transmission fluid and brake fluid) and a brake inspection and tire rotation. My invoice came out to be $800. They charged $165 for brake inspection. I have no words. Tire rotation was $41. I am paying $200 for service that could have been free at other places. I am not saying they shouldn't charge for it, but their prices definitely left me in shock. I am upset. If you want an affordable and reasonably priced place, steer away from this place. It had started when I drove through SF and I had driven with white knuckles all the way down the 5. When I arrived to town, I wanted to get it straightened out right away and so began my Google research. Though Westcoast Auto did not pop up in my initial search for RV services, I was referred to the by Gary's RV Service down the road as he said they had a rack that would support our short bus conversion. Don't let the somewhat dingy appearance of the shop's exterior deter you. It is an auto garage, after all. The crew and the lady at the front desk were very polite and helpful. They put the bus on the rack and within minutes had diagnosed the problem as a separated tire tread. This was great news as I was bracing myself for the worst: suspension, alignment, damage to my rim, etc. Truth be told, they could have claimed that any of these things were the issue and I would have blindly paid for it to get back on the road. They were honest, however, and charged me only $65 for a used tire to get me back up and running. The bus is driving great now and our family is able to enjoy our vacation with peace of mind, as well as a newfound appreciation for the honest humans of the world.
